Dan and Peyman at website box are con artist, the website sucks and worst they breached their contract and their word. If they are willing to lie and cheat us I guarantee they are also selling our information as well as our clients' information to our competitors. STAY AWAY! I WILL BE CALLING MY BANK AND GETTING A FULL REFUND!
My website is not working now, they forced me to pay $299/year to get my website back, this is fraud
They breached their one time $99 fee agreement and now want to charge that yearly. It's not the money its the fact that they misrepresented their offer. In fact, because my credit card info on the site had not been updated, I received an email threat that my site will be removed tomorrow. This is clearly a fraud on their customers.
IDO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! Website box originally sold $99-lifetime websites and now they are canceling my lifetime agreement. They are attempting to sell me a subscription based model. Their platform is barely worth the $99 onetime fee let alone a continuous fee. Who else is interested in a class action lawsuit? I know I am. I will also contact the Better Business Bureau
Do not use website box! They are rude, and horrible service. Their supposed $99 for life "Guaranteed " is not guaranteed, and is $99 a year for the worst service in the industry.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! Website box originally sold $99-lifetime websites. This has not been honored and Website Box is now requiring $99/yr or you must cancel your initial lifetime subscription. In addition, any money you previously spent on apps to work within the main software, have mostly been discontinued without a refund, explanation, or warning; resulting in a loss of the money paid for those apps. This company lies about everything and thus can't be trusted. Is anyone interested in filling a class action lawsuit? These guys deserve it. I would give this less than 1-star if I could.
I purchased the $99 lifetime subscription. I stopped using the site after one year because it was so difficult to use and poorly designed. I upgraded to IDX and it literally took them six months to set it up. Even after it was set up, I felt like I paid too much. It just wasn't useful, it was difficult to make changes, and it certainly wasn't bringing me any business. I stopped using it after a year or so and upgraded to a professionally designed site.
Why am I writing this review three years later? Because I just received an email announcing my "lifetime" subscription is no longer valid because it's an "unsustainable" business model. They are now charging $99 per year. Good thing I've already left.
I purchased a one time fee for 2 sites plus paid for added pages. Now I have nothing. No notice given until a text was sent to me 8-31-20 that they will be charging me starting 10-1-20. I understand it probably wasn't profitable they should have figured that out when they started years ago. I feel they should honor what was already paid for though, it's okay to change direction but not at the expense of those who already paid for a service. If they hadn't have killed my sites I would have considered one of the new options offered in hopes to improve my sites. I guess in the end the old saying is true "You get what you pay for" unless you paid Websitebox.
I signed up for Website box and was very happy until I noticed the house search portion was searching in $******* segments. IN stead of correcting so a buyer and seller could use the search feature properly they refused to make any changes. They refused to give any money back even though I never got a useable website.
Really great response when you have questions, and super easy site to configure. The process is easy and streamlined.
When I signed up with this company I paid a one time fee plus some upgrade fees along the way. Now they are doing away with that agreement and charging a yearly fee for the service.
Bait and switch sounds about right for how they do business.
PLEASE for the love of all thing good, if you are considering building a website with websitebox... DON'T, just don't! My site has not been updated with current MLS info since 3/2/2020! I have reached out to "customer support" (what a joke) 9 times over the past 21 days. At first I got "we are working on it" but now I get no response at all. PLEASE, PLEASE spend your money elsewhere. TERRIBLE customer service and a non working website!
As a member of Carolina MLS, now called Canopy MLS in the Charlotte NC region, my website has not updated our MLS listings or even displays our new company listings in over 3 months months. Each time I call WebsiteBox(5 times now) they say they need to remap the website, but nothing ever happens. My real estate website is USELESS and WebsiteBox does nothing. Oh they promise to fix it each time I call, but it does not happen. Nothing has changed in months. Do not even think of going with WebsiteBox. I sure regret it.

I search all the web and in the end I made the choice on WebsiteBox. It was the best thing I did so far this year to get my website up and running. I was able to do it myself and looks better than some pro sites out there that charge $$$$. Give them a shot you won't regret it.

Several years ago I set up a website box site for a client, and it was a very good site for the money. Since then, they have completely revamped the format, and they have dumbed it down to the point where the end user has very, VERY limited control of the look off the website. There are INCHES of white space, and you can't adjust the margins. You can't even adjust the size of the photos, video, etc. Links are constantly broken, when you reach out to support they have nothing to offer aside from "sorry, that's just the way it is." They have removed just about every single ounce of user control and functionality, which has pretty much rendered the product useless. You can't even do the basics like create a table with customizable boarders. It just sucks, and I'm so disappointed I wasted my money. Why they felt the need to dumb it down to this level is beyond me, but seriously do mot waste your time or money. Now I have to start all over with another provider who will trust me to set my own margins and vary the size of my photos.
So far so good! Very easy to get the website up and running and it looks fantastic. Easy to modify as well. Had a question and someone got back to me within 5 minutes!

Answer: Amy - we have several containers which we allow for agents to determine how they best want to market their brand. You can use one logo in the header and one in the footer of the website if you like. There are several different options but the short answer to the question is yes.
Answer: John, the new platform is completely different from the older version. We simply didn't update the older version, we built an entirely new platform. The old version was antiquated and no longer supported the advances of technology and the needs of realtors. We are offering a free onboarding and you were upgraded into the Standard Plan for free and did not pay anything extra. We also offer a free SSL certificate with the new platform. I am happy to assist. I can understand the frustration with learning the new system but we communicated this to the customers for over a year that the new version would be coming. The main reasons we migrated to a new platform is to allow for much better lead generation using Google Ads, Facebook Pixel and you get a free SSL certificate to ensure your website is secure. The old site simply did not have the capability to integrate these options.
