Bought WeatherTech mats for my entire jeep Cherokee L, these things are garbage they can't take hot water for washing. They roll up. They are flimsy thin and once they get dirty, you could never get them clean again.
I purchased WeatherTech floor mats some years ago, and they were well built and very durable. In short, an excellent product. When I purchased a new 2023 Explorer, I decided to purchase their $138.00 liner for the cargo area. What a sad joke it is! My nephew purchased another brand at one-fifth the cost for his Explorer and not only was it a better fit, but it was much thicker, so it does not curl up like the thin WeatherTech does.
The only bright side is that given that it was likely made in some backwater jungle, they cannot have the "Made in America" label on it! WeatherTech does not post real customer reviews, (they would all be negative,) so I hope this one makes it out, so others do not make the same mistake I did.
The mats I purchased fit reasonably well but they were mor flimsy than I thought they should be given the price. My biggest complaint is that they are very hard to clean because of the texture of the mat. They seem to want to hang on to dirt and after only a couple of months appear stained. I would assume that a power washer might do a better job but that is very difficult to do in the winter when they need more frequent cleaning. Probably wouldn't buy them again.
Ordered one for my Toyota Sienna. Paid a premium price but what I received was of such poor quality that it is, frankly, an eyesore. I would have been better off buying a roll of plastic at home depot. Fooled me this time but, I will remember and never buy from them again.
Due to the recipients being out of town when the Weathertech Items could be delivered, I was choosing instead to purchase them gift cards. I was told that they had to UPS the cards at the expense of 8.00 per address...It looks like I'll have to order the Chinese Mats on Amazon for half the cost with free shipping. 16.00 for mailing two gift cards? Ridiculous...former Weathertech customer
Purchased mats for Jeep Wrangler through dealership. Edges of mats rolled inward. Called WeatherTech warranty, unable to verify my order because of dealership purchase and I did not exist in WeatherTech system. Best advice given to me was to lay the mats face down in the sun, place a weight on top and hopefully the rolling with correct itself…. Tried that… did not work…threw mats in dumpster! Must of been a bad run? My WeatherTech mats in Tahoe and car are perfect. Dissatisfied with warranty support and dodging a replacement strategy.
I order full set of mats for my wife's cadillac srx and the rear and passenger side fit fine but the drivers side was off so far they would not fit the holes by a 1 inch whoch made it impossible to use.when i contacted customer service i was talked down to and was told not to keep bothering them
Buyer beware. I even sent photos and measurements to no avail
Not worth the money they curl up on the edges I've taken them out tried to get them to lay back flat they continue to curl up
The clasp that secures the all weather mats are IMPOSSIBLE to open.
States 'Press and release'.
You need the strength of an orangutan to open it.
Still not opened.
Guess the company caters strictly to men.
They are terrible, they curl way to much, really why do I have to do 100 characters to continue. I hate them
Don't buy these. They look good but are useless. They don't protect the front or back sides of the vehicle. What a waste of time and money.
Do not buy deflectors. The rear deflectors are impossible to install, you will damage your rubber seal and still have to end up paying to install them.
Spent $200+ for seal cover for Cadillac ST5 - it might as well have been made in China selling for $20. Seen the TV ads? This one doesn't fit anything like what you saw on TV. Elastic bands at the top to hold it up are cheesy, the sides leave ~6" of seat exposed on each side. The only good thing I have to say about this overpriced POS is that its heavy duty material. This will be my last WT product purchase.
If you don't want the product that has been sent, contact customer service. They will refund the money - your shipping. The 2023 Jeep Product was two inches short in the cargo bay and the passenger side was also a a little short. WeatherTech provided me an acceptable credit.
I've had my weather tech liners for about 3yrs and they are NOT worth the money. After 3 days of rain the carpet under them was wet, my car has no leaks so there should be no reason for wet carpet. They do not keep the carpet clean under the mat either as they claim. They do not fit as snug as they claim. After wanting some WeatherTech mats for years, and finally getting them from my car, I am very disappointed.
Bought roughly 800.00 worth of floor mats, rear seat protector and side window deflectors for a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali. The floor mats are ok but nothing to write home about. The rear seat protector is a joke. Fits like a 55 gallon drum liner. The side window deflectors are a joke too. The rears are kind of ok but the fronts fit into the weather strip and clicks when the window is raised. Window hits the top of the deflector. I have bought my first and last weathertech products. Not only do they charge freight on every item, to return you have to pay freight back ( stupid).
Don't get the BMW X3 cargo mat, it requires too much modification of the rubber mat that makes it no longer water holding. I tried to get help from customer service ok how to install them the only thing they would say was that the instructions say that I might have to modify them to fit? They did not answer my follow up email. The driver side cutout has a mat molded with the cutout. You have to remove the net and cut the mat to make it fit, I couldn't get the net to fit back in. In my opinion it's poorly designed and doesn't need this covered.
Your floor mats cost me $261 and what I wanted to return them they charge me shipping. It cost me a total of $95 to return using UPS. Needless to say, I lost $95 doing business with WeatherTech. That'll be the last time I ever deal with this company. Of course they don't tell you up front that you have to pay for shipping on returns. If they had I would have never done business with them. They were polite enough and I'm sure nice people, however I am totally dissatisfied with their return policy and it makes me sad that it cost me almost $100 just to try to buy their floor mat. They get an F in my book.
After 5 years my mat split you would think you pay that much they would stand behind their product and replace won't get anymore of my money half $#*! company don't buy
The floor mats fit perfectly when they arrived. However, with use, the driver floor mat has curled up like a dried leaf and moves all over the floor, interfering with the gas pedal. The mat has become a safety hazard so I had to scrap it and buy a replacement mat. Contacted Weather Tech but they were most unhelpful. Asked me to prove I bought it; they would not check their own records - I had bought the mats directly from Whether Tech,
Answer: Haha! Placed on hold with 165 callers ahead of me. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told I could try to call back tomorrow but they're really busy this time of year!
Answer: I have boughten a few things for Weathertech and I had a problem with a part that got broken. I called customer service and got right through and they solved my problem in just a few minutes. They were very nice and easy to deal with.
Answer: Any company is better. Mine are absolute junk. They are so cheap I'd be better off buying Walmart brand floor mats.
