Bad service I had ever had

I ordered a desk chair one month ago and it didn't arrive. I chatted with the staff and she said the order was lost. She helped me order a replacement. But eventually the shipping of the replacement delayed again. I asked for a refund and the staff told me that I had to wait for 15 days to request a refund after the replacement order had been made. The service of this company is terrible!

Do not order anything from this company, very misleading in their marketing and delivery time. Bad business practice and not ethical whatsoever. Call center staff was extremely rude, she hung up the phone on me when I questioned their business practice. I ordered a coffee table on their website that say the delivery time would be 2-3 weeks and when I received the confirmation email order, it showed my delivery date would be delivered in 3 months, when I tried to cancel my order and get my refund. Their call center staff said they don't provide refund for items that don't deliver on time and then she hung up the phone on me. That is so rude and so unprofessional, anyway, I will make sure my credit card provider charge back on their end. I would never order anything from them ever again or refer anyone to do business with them. This is a very shady business. Beware and stay away from this company at all cost!

It is a formal complaint about Order #*******231. A dining table that was scheduled for delivery three times and Wayfair never made it. On August 22nd, 2022 between 5:15-6:00 pm, I have talked to a supervisor called Mario. You claim you record your calls so please listen to the recording. Marion was so aggressive talking to a frustrated customer after 3 times of failing to deliver the item. Not only that when I challenged to be charged return shipping cost did he cancel without my consent to accept the charges he hanged up. He didn't know even where the order was or giving any time frame to deliver it. So Wayfair expect their customer to stay calm and wait till the company remember to deliver the order. There is way ever to report a complain. They only reward you with a discount so that you will give them more business while you suffer without disturbing them. I will never buy from Wayfair again

Email advertising recliners starting from $200. When I opened the email, the least expensive recliner was $450. That's fine, but don't advertise some that doesn't exist! I was on the phone chatting with 3 different people and no answer was provided. False advertising!

Plumbing nightmare

Plumbing nightmare. Non standard fittings. Flex hose for sink that kink when flexed. No way around it. I had to add support wire to each hose to strengthen it. Local hardware dealer tried to help me to no evail.
Talked with plumber that shook his head.
He looked at the hoses, kinked in my hand and said, Wayfair? Yes, I said, he smiled and said you won't find the parts you have to go back to Wayfair. I then stiffened and supported the flex hoses. I FIXED THE CHEAP HOSES. I connected the, vanity sink, hot and cold. Finally, no kinks.
Turn on the main supply. Water pouring out of the hot. The pipe welded to the tap was leaking at the joint. BROKEN TAP!
I told my daughter the bad news. I wanted new taps, NOT WAYFAIR junk. I have plumbed for years and not professionally, this stuff is a nightmare. Nothing is, standard, no thought in design.
She contacted Wayair, they are sending out new raps, no questions. And guess what, I can guarantee there will be problems.

I placed an order in early July during a Canada Day sale for a metal pergola and a 5 seat patio set with a fire table. I also bought 3 years warranty protection on all the items. I received an email approximately 2 weeks later saying that the items were shipped - expected delivery end of July. The next day I received another email stating that the patio set with fire table had an SKU error on the Wayfair side and that, that part of the order would be canceled and I could call to reorder the patio seating and fire table. Of course at this point the Canada Day sale was long gone. I called the next day to reorder the patio seating and fire table. The sales person was unable to locate the exact previously ordered item, however was able to find the exact item with just the seating and separate item for the exact same fire table - no longer being sold as one unit (even though many of their patio seating sets and fire tables are still showing together). No mention that the cost would be more than what I originally paid. I asked if I would still get the sale item prices. She told me the warranty would be higher as it was for 2 separate items versus one - but nothing about any additional costs. In the end I was charged an additional $1,197.45 (double the original cost) because of an error on their side. I can appreciate maybe $100 - $150 additional perhaps... but not double! They refuse to compensate me for this additional expense. Why is the customer being penalized double the cost for an internal error on the Wayfair side. Seems like a total scam to me. Also why was it listed as being shipped when it clearly wasn't. This is really terrible business practice and a sure way to never have anyone shop there again! I'll be spreading the news of this wide and loud in the hopes no one else falls for this terrible scam!

Bad Service

I ordered a Fulton Sofa from $Wayfair for 1200. I called just after 3-4 hours to cancel the order and i was assured that order will be cancelled. Few days after i got an email that it has been shipped. I called Wayfair to to process return and they did. Fedex picked up the packet next day but delivered it back to home the very next day. I had to drop it personally to fedex location and i have a proof that it was delivered back to wayfair warehouse. I didn't get any refund so i called wayfair for refund. They assured that refund will be processed in 3-5 days,. One month passed and no refund was processed so i called again and they assured again that it will be processed in 3-5 days. So in summary it has been 3 months and this struggle is still goin on. I would not recommend this website it to anyone. This may not be the experience for everyone but i have read a similar review from someone else and if this is happening again and again for multiple customers they really need to work on their operations.

Worst communication
June 22, 2022

I placed an order after talking to one of the Wayfair guys and he promised me I will get it at the right time. I did not get it on time so I called them they said I will get it today or tomorrow for sure, still did not get it, called them again after a couple of days then they said I will get it at the end of this week. How can you promise if you can't fulfill it? I am so tired of their service, and will never recommend to anyone to buy from wayfair.

I bought a carpet from Wayfair.ca it had 5000+ reviews with an average of 4.5 stars. But when I received the product, it was a lousy product not worth even a 1/2 star. I wrote a review posting a one-star and Wayfair did not post it. No wonder the product received a high average star rating. DON'T TRUST WAYFAIR.CA STAR RATINGS, PERIOD.

Still waiting

I ordered a rug from Wayfair.ca back in February and am still waiting to have my order filled. I was told my item was back ordered and the estimated delivery date was July. Since then I have received 2 notifications that my item was back in stock. However, after 5 emails asking where my rug is I am told the same story that it's backordered. This is the second time I have ordered something and paid for it yet it's not delivered within a reasonable time frame. Don't order anything from Wayfair if you want want to receive your order any time soon!

I ordered an Aleko motorized awning. It took 14 days to arrive, which was 2 days early. I opened it as soon as it arrived, and the motor kit was not in the package.
I went to my order and checked yes the motor kit and remote were part of the sale. I also noticed the price was reduced by 50.$ (6%) I called Wayfair customer service and brought both of these to her attention. She ordered the parts for me and gave me a delivery of June 6th. These parts are in the warehouse of Aleko in Seattle. And would not expedite them. Also because I did not request a price reduction within 7 days of entering the order I was not entitled to a credit. I had not even received the goods yet, but I was not getting a rebate.
Store policy she said. I should have sent back the package as not beeing compleat, and reordered it again.
Will not be a next time for me.

How much to return

Bought flooring, received inferior replacement, It didn't have a shipping receipt, claim it's the same product. Cost $1,400.00 if I choose to return it will cost $800.00 So if you buy from Wayfair make sure you have some kind of written confirmation on how much it will cost to return if you are not happy with the product.
It should be a standard practice on their confirmation.

Can't get an order right

Bought a 10'x20' chicken run, received a 10'x10' chicken run (which they apparently don't actually sell) complained and received another 10'x10' to replace it. Frustrating dealing with customer service, insane wait time to get replies, will never stop here again. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Ordered a sofa online, and cancelled right away. Did not receive cancelation confirmation email. Called agent and was told no need to worry as the delivery is the next day. No email next day. 3rd day morning,. Received an email says the sofa is shipped! Called again, was pushed away, not their business anymore. Have to deal with shipping company. But no tracking no, nothing on their website. Should ever use them. If can give negative review, would help.

Below is an excerpt from an email sent to Wayfair. The finance department did not respond and as of Apr. 15 the charges continue. I have had to cancel my credit card to try and resolve the situation.
On Feb 26 I attempted to place an order but your system would not accept it. The message was to try later so I made three attempts. I phoned the next morning and the glitch was in your system.It was offering US items that could not be obtained at the quoted price. I DID NOT place an order. The attempt placed 3 holds (3 x $447.20) on my credit card. YOUR SYSTEM is now placing a hold for $447.20 on my credit card every 7 days. I contacted my bank and was told the code WF/CA *******246 is for "credentials on file" and that it will bill every seven days like a payment schedule. The bank is obligated to hold the funds. I have repeatedly called Wayfair Customer Service. I will not call again. The charges were posted on Feb 26, Mar 5, 12, 18, 25 & Apr 01.

I bought a medicine chest. While the measurement was accurate for the recess into the wall, the lip of the mirror hit the door trim so it was useless. First, there return policy says 30 days, but that's not the worst part (I changed contractors so it was after the date), you can't return it if you've opened the box!, and worst of all is that you have to pay return shipping charges from Canada to Florida! They might as well say that you can't return it!

Credit card compromised

Be very leery of credit card usage with Wayfair. Just spoke to reps for 2nd time and they have no safety, knowledge or staff who manage online credit card fraud. Happened to receive a notice via my credit card and was charged $2558 for product I did not order. Phoned Wayfair asap and was able to cancel and rep verified my email and phone number had been changed. Wayfair did nothing else to make me feel confident to order with them in the future and challenged that it must have been somebody in my home that did the fraudulent order. Still have not seen the money credited to my card yet…. Have had to spend extra time on cancelling credit cards and all of that. Do not trust their online payment method is safe.

I waited many business days to receive an email, confirming the shipping of my item... nothing. So, I decided to cancel the order, considering how long the order would take to arrive.
Not to my surprise, by the end of the day 'after' I sent the cancellation request (order wasn't shipped yet), I received an email confirming that the order had been shipped.
