The overall reputation of the company is significantly marred by numerous customer complaints regarding service reliability and transparency. Many users report frustrations with receiving incorrect tickets, unexpected charges, and inadequate customer support, often describing the service as untrustworthy and dismissive. While some customers have noted positive interactions with individual representatives, these instances are overshadowed by a pervasive sentiment of dissatisfaction and confusion throughout the purchasing process. The consistent issues with order confirmation and refund policies highlight a need for major improvements in customer service practices to enhance trust and user experience.

It's really nice to be able to get ahold of someone fast to fix my issue I was having with my available credit. Really nice staff and competent.
Scammed. Ordered 2 tickets to see The Dallas Cowboys VS Oakland Raiders in Dallas. We are from Virginia so big trip.
When we gave them our email, "they" wrote it down incorrectly. As the date approached, and the tickets never showed up in our email, my wife called them back to tell them. They realized they had processed the wrong email and my wife corrected them.
Still, the tickets never showed in spite of our repeated attempts.
When lodging our complaint, we were never allowed to speak with a manager and their service reps lied to us over and over again, promising a return call which never materialized. My wife has tried to get our money back on four different attempts, each one and hour on the phone with their terrible customer service people.
Terrible terrible company. Use at your own risk! These people will rip you off!
We purchased tickets for a Bruins game that was postponed due to Covid. This was a Christmas present for my family. The game was to be during school vacation week. The NHL postponed our game to a school night, and Vivid Seats would not assist us in exchanging the tickets for a convenient date. I thought I was the customer. Since shelling out nearly $700 for tickets for the family, I now am stuck with them because they would not work with me to exchange the seats.
Vivid Seats contacted me a month ago, advising that concert tix I previously purchased were no longer valid. A month of emails, creating TEN NEW email and ticket accounts per their instructions and I have no tix, although they say they kerp sending them to these accounts. They keep repeating the same, failed ideas. I demand a refund and they refuse.
VIVID SEATS IS TERRIBLE!
I have filed official complaints.
DO NOT USE VIVID SEATS!
BUYER BEWARE! I would not order/purchase tickets through VIVID ever again! We bought tickets x4 for the Blake Shelton Concert in March 2020 and it was postponed due to the pandemic. Instead of refunding fans' money immediately they chose to keep everyone's money.
We have been trying to be refunded our money for almost two years now. We have emailed the website provided to us through the lawsuit for over a month. We filed a claim back in July as was asked of us. There has been no communication since then. No one answers to the email address and you can't talk with a real person. What has happened to customer service?
Now the number that they originally provided to us through the lawsuit card tells us that they will no longer refund our money because the deadline is over (mind you, you can't talk with a real person). What DEADLINE?
I'm totally and utterly disgusted with this whole situation! I will be sure to get the word out about VIViD to everyone I know! What is sad is how many others are in this same situation or may no longer even be with us!
Rio was awesome! She confirmed what I was seeing online and was able to offer a discount I would not have got online.
Love talking to people and she was so kind and patient.
Wow I had a good experience working with Michael H today to purchase some concert tickets. He made the process easy. This is my second purchase through Vivid Seats and I highly recommend them.
I purchased tickets for the Billie Eilish concert March 14 in Chicago, IL. The venue now requires everyone to be vaccinated and not everyone is. When I purchased the tickets this was not a requirement. I wanted a full refund. Pretty sad that Ticketmaster is offering a refund for the tickets because of this change and Vividseats refuse to help out. These tickets cost me over $1,500. I tried to contact them via phone and you never get a person! It is all automated with no option of speaking to a person! Very annoying! I tried chatting online and had to try 4 times before someone actually came on because my order number was not coming up even though I entered the same number 4 times. The customer service rep was very rude and did not care about anything, not even helping out. All in all, I am not able to get a refund unless the concert is cancelled. Horrible company, do not purchase tickets through them. Not sure how they are even still in business.
My complaint is against vivid seats. On Sunday December 26,2021, I had tickets to the Philadelphia Eagles game in Philadelphia, PA. I was with my family looking for parking prior to the game. Most of the lots were full, and the lots that were open required a prepaid reservation and were not accepting cash or card payments. I went online to vivid seats and found reserved parking available for $86.00 which was over double the charge of the lots' $40 cash charge. We knew of no other option for parking, so I was forced to order the parking through vivid seats. As we were sitting in line for the reserved lot, I purchased the reserve parking voucher from vivid seats. I received the confirmation email with link to download the ticket. After multiple attempts to download the voucher and at the point we had reached the end of the line to the lot, I still was unable to download the voucher. The link connected to a site that read "error, site unavailable please try again". The attendant at the lot would not accept the email confirmation and needed to scan the barcode on the voucher that I was unable to download. The attendant even tried on my phone and was unsuccessful. She mentioned that others who purchased the voucher were unable to download the barcode as well so close to the event. Feeling bad about the situation, she charged us the $40 cash and allowed us to park in the lot. She suggested calling customer service tomorrow, because vivid seats will be able to see that the barcode was not scanned and used. On Monday, the day after the event, I looked up the vivid seats' customer service phone number through their app and called. I spoke with a representative who was very rude and argumentative. She stated that because I was able to download the ticket on Monday there was nothing she could do with regard to compensation. Multiple times, I reiterated to her that I did not need the voucher on Monday, I needed it to work on Sunday for the event for which I bought the date specific voucher. I requested to speak with a manager and was denied after she stated that the manager would say the same thing. I called my credit card company with which I purchased the voucher and lodged a complaint disputing the charge. After the credit card company's investigation, they received the same result and refusal for compensation from vivid seats. I am writing this account of my experience to make others aware that vivid seats will take money for vouchers that cannot be used and will provide illogical rationales for not providing refunds.
I was having trouble with my order I reached out to customer support they answered immediately and the representative assisted me with ease I look forward to using them again and made me feel very comforted to know I can reach somebody.
My friend, with whom I was supposed to go to Billie Eillish concert passed away due to COVID. I called vivid seats to get a refund, but they refused the refund, and told me to resell the tickets. They are inhumane and horrible to deal with. The ticket specifically states that they will make accomodations due to COVID, but that is a lie. I will never buy tickets from them again.
Absolutely horrible trying to get someone to actually speak to. This is unheard of! When I finally got someone I could talk to, they were very helpful. Myra H. Was especially helpful.
Do not buy anything from a third party like VividSeats. We purchased two tickets for 95 USD each for the Pink Martini concert and when we downloaded them the tickets price 35usd each. They resale us each ticket for 60 USD more!
I rec'd an email to get a 10% discount. Clicked through links on email and it would not apply. I ended up calling customer service and she mentioned a minimum however the email does not mention this anywhere that i could find. Clicking through email links I still didn't see it. I spend over $100 on 1 ticket and she claims there is a minimum. I do not see that anywhere either. And WHY would you send me an email w/discount that was not usable bc it was obvious what price point and buying only one ticket? False advertising...? YES i bought the ticket bc as you know, what choice do we have if we want to go to the show. Very frustrating, however, Arden L was very nice. I didn't try to question her more than once as she is just the middle person. :(
I called for NFC Conf Championship game tickets at SoFi stadium. Jennifer was so helpful. I must have asked to check different areas 4 times. She found us the best tickets for our budget. We are so excited! Go Niners!
David Jake is an absolute stud! Helped me purchase the tickets of my dreams and made it such an easy and enjoyable experience
I called and spoke with Jhoan M. And he helped me with my purchase of tickets. He was very helpful, super polite, and had a pleasant sense of humor. I wish more customer service people were as nice to work with as he was. Thanks so much!
I recently purchased some tickets for a concert on Vividseats. The tickets were listed at $153 per ticket. After purchasing the tickets I saw that my credit card was charged for $408.64 with the receipt for the purchase only showing the price of the tickets and no other fees. After reaching out to Vividseats through their online chat I learned that I was charged a $97.64 service fee and a $5.00 shipping fee. They will not provide me with an accurate receipt showing these fees. I was unaware of these extra expenses and would not have purchased the tickets if I had known these fees were associated with the purchase. They will not refund my money because all sales are final on concert tickets. I asked about reselling the tickets on their website but I have yet to actually receive those tickets and wont receive them until the day before the concert. Therefore I am stuck paying their hidden fees and although I have paid this money out, I have yet to receive what I have paid for. The most concerning part is they refuse to provide me with an accurate receipt showing what all I paid for. I will never use this company ever again.
They have the WORST customer service. Put you in endless holds, DROP CALLS... all about selling... LOAD UP FEES... if there is any ERROR even on their part... YOU ARE SCREWED... Very nasty responses. Patronizing... I ordered 2 tickets... Got confirmation of 1... called immediately to get it changed to 2... spend more money... ONLY OPTION was to BUY@ MORE... eat the other ticket. NOT GOOD.
Ordered Broadway play tickets on 11/30 for 12/27 event. One seats in Center mezzanine rows B - D. Promised digital delivery by 12/25. Arrived 12/27 but for rear orchestra row Q. Different seats, inferior. Tried for refund. 6 long sessions with online chat, all terminated by them. 2 30+ min phone calls that got terminated by them. Wasted 3 hours over all. No consideration or resolution. Clearly, they try to win a war of attrition by making it very difficult to get reasonable service. They reserve the right in their sole judgment to deliver tickets other than the ones you bought. That's bad but worse is the dismissive and rude treatment you get when you have an issue. Horrible service by an amoral company that cannot be trusted and certainly should not be publicly traded. Short 'SEAT' and take your ticket business elsewhere!
Answer: They are a site just to help scalpers. Don't trust their tickets!
Answer: That is a good concern because I never did and they won't give me my money back either
