I had an incredibly negative experience with Virventures, and I am compelled to share my dreadful experience. Virventures' conduct has been nothing short of deplorable.
From start to finish, their customer service was nothing short of a nightmare. Their indifference and complete lack of professionalism left me feeling disrespected and utterly disregarded as a customer.
After receiving a damaged item from Virventures I encountered nothing but frustration throughout the return process. Their disregard for my concerns and refusal to honor their own policies is absolutely unacceptable. I strongly advise others to steer clear of Virventures if they value quality service and customer satisfaction.
They consistently failed to address my concerns adequately, showing a complete disregard for my rights as a customer. Their repeated excuses about relying on manufacturers and carriers were nothing more than feeble attempts to shirk their responsibility. As a seller, it is their duty to ensure a seamless shopping experience, but they fell embarrassingly short. Their refusal to honor the return policy and their failure to provide a timely resolution were deeply disappointing.
Furthermore, the lack of transparency regarding the 30-day return window and their subsequent denial of my claim showcased their deceptive practices. It is abundantly clear that Virventures places profit above customer satisfaction and fails to uphold their obligations as a reputable seller.
Based on my harrowing encounter, I deeply discourage doing business with this company. Save yourself the anguish, frustration, and wasted time by exploring alternative sellers who prioritize customer service and accountability.
Poorly packaged, arrived in pieces (see photo) Seller, VirVentures, says too bad, so sad... We were hit by Hurricane Irma, with no power, and much going on to immediately (w/in 5 days) report the damaged orbs. We also purchased a coffee table and two end tables from this company at the same time the orbs were purchased, mind you. This is customer appreciation at its finest.:(

Thank you for your email. We regret to inform you that we are unable to approve your request for a Return Authorization. As per our Return Policy:
"All unopened unused items can be returned to us for a refund within 30 days from the date of delivery subject to a 20% restocking fee.
We do not accept any opened or used items, even if the item has been wrongly ordered by you.
In case of a damaged/defective item you can return the item to us for a replacement/refund within 5 days from the date of delivery, subject to us verifying the damage/defect". Given the circumstances, we are unable to assist you with the issue.
We appreciate your understanding.

The seller was great in communicating to confirm I had ordered the right size, even sent me a dimensional drawing that helped my confirm. The product was very easy to install as well.
Terrible shopping experience! Spend your money elsewhere! My first and last experience with Vir Ventures! Problems already before receiving the product, as the shipping weight was too light as noted from delivery tracking information. When I mentioned this as being fraudulent activity to both virventures and Best Buy, and also with having an extremely negative experience with the authorized marketplace seller, I was refunded quickly 100%. Virventure's seller's page said "Happy Shopping!"... this is the complete opposite of my experience with this company, so... DON'T!
Do not buy anything from this company. They pretended to be working with me and gave me a window to return one of their products (I never even opened the box when I received it). I returned it within their time window (14 days). They received it (I have confirmation from UPS) and then they sent me an email saying they were not going to refund my money (have no idea why not) and for me not to send the product back. I sent them an email stating that they in fact already had the product and they needed to refund my money. They never responded. Walmart backed me up and refunded my money ($160). Walmart is now investigating this company. I hope they no longer have them as a third party marketplace company. Please let Walmart know if you have been scammed by this company. Do not believe any of the 5-star reviews for this company. They are written by people who work at the company (many misspellings and similar phrases in all of the reviews). They are fake. There is no way any real person would rate their experience with this company as 5 star.

This is a great price for a 32GB SanDisk micro SDHC card. All in all, I am satisfied with my purchase. For $10 this 32 GB class 4 micro SDHC card is worth every penny. This is a Class 4 card meaning that it gets the real-world performance of about 4MB sustained write speed, which is what I've experienced with it. If you did check out my profile you may know that I have reviewed a lot of data storage devices.It's because I am a very heavy smartphone & camera user. I have used memory cards of almost every brand and have a good idea about the performance of each.
I purchased an item in May 2020 through Amazon. When I received it, it was defective. Because they are not a "Prime" vendor I had to go directly to VirVentures. I was initially asked to send photographs of the defect, which I did. Then I was instructed to return the item back to them. I was told that once received back and the warehouse confirmed the defective they would reimburse me for my return shipping costs (and that is what is stated in their return policy). After several days since it was received back at their warehouse, I still hadn't heard from them, so I initiated contact again and provided proof of delivery along with the receipt for my shipping costs. To not turn this into a manuscript, I will just tell you it is now mid-September, and after several more back and fourth's with them, along with phone calls to Amazon customer service, I received an email Sept. 15 telling me that they will not reimburse me because I did not wait for their mailing instructions before mailing it back. What the H? And yes, as some of the other complaints mention, you can never reach them on the phone. It's just a recording. If you leave a message you will never hear back from them. Some very uncaring and unprofessional people are running this company. Every email from them ends with "We strive to offer you the best value and services possible. Your satisfaction is our utmost priority. Please feel free to contact us for any further queries. We will be delighted to serve you again in the future!" Ridiculous
Completely ignores their own policy for defective umbrella stand. They will not send return label.
They even sent a replacement after I specifically said that I did not want a replacement!
I bought my item through Walmart and thought it will be shipped & sold by Walmart. I was wrong. It's been over 2 weeks and I still haven't received my order.
The product was awesome and the customer service was very courteous they helped me a lot with my queries. The item was absolutely perfect for me, will order more from them.

When the email notification that my FedEx delivery of the item purchased from HOUZZ website and product sold by VirVentures I went to my door not finding the package, walked the circumference of the property no package. Living in the country with no neighbors and only other person in the house is my husband. I reported that there had to be a mistake with where FedEx delivered and I received no assistance just a message that it is delivered and ask friends family and neighbors and a complete refusal to contact shipper or any remedy. FedEx is no better navigating the worst AI phone system to eventually reach someone who promised a call within 24 hours. No call no help from VirVentures, don't order anything through HOUZZ and VirVentures should be removed from all e-commerce including Amazon.

This is a personal example. I recently ordered a couple of vinyl records from Walmart to be a rival to Amazon Prime with two-day shipping. After receiving shipping tracking information, I patiently waited for my records to arrive. As promised, a package arrived in a few daysbut there was only one record in it. When checking my emails to see the issue, I realized it the second vinyl was in fact supposed to be in the same package.
I looked for a solution to my email from Google Express. There, in plain sight, was a "Contact Us" option. I clicked it, and I was taken to a live chat window. I expressed my issue to the customer service rep I was chatting with, provided my order number, and that was it. The rep realized my vinyl was stuck at FedEx location, and he/she fixed the issuethe package arrived just a day or two later.
Not only was the experience seamless and painless, but, for my troubles (without me even asking), the rep provided me with a discount code for my next order. The email with the 15% off code said, "Sorry to hear about your recent bumpy experience with Google Express," which was incredibly refreshing. They admitted they made a mistake and sweetened the deal to make the hassle worth it. A "bravo" moment in my book, this tactic is simple enough for any company (no matter how small) to keep customers happy and coming back.

Recently purchased a Counter Height Stool and very happy with the purchase. It is a quality product, well priced and impressed with the timely delivery.
I have never seen such confusion about a simple order before. It's almost a month since I ordered an item and have received emails that the item was shipped, only I never received it. Now they are saying that I can't return the item because I don't have the original packaging! I NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM!
Answer: I have to agree with Frank that Vir Ventures is scam from personal experience and find it incredulous that Vir Ventures has 5 star reviews from Indian-sounding names like "Namesh, Gautam M., Shreyanshi M., Mrinmoy B. & Poojay". In fact, this is typical of their behavior and posting FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS IS IN VIOLATION OF THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION AND CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT!
Answer: Yes Vir Ventures is indeed a scam company run by Indians whom post fake 5 star reviews to give the appearance that their company is reputable; when in reality, they sell substandard merchandise, have zero to no contact with customers when they want to return defective items and go to such extremes as to blatantly post FALSE, MISLEADING reviews. My advice is to shop elsewhere!
Answer: Honestly Dale, good luck getting a hold of anyone at Vir Ventures or returning the aforementioned item you purchased through Sears. Not only is their line always busy (presumably because so many people are returning defective merchandise), there seems to be zero recourse for returning items. Note: Vir Ventures is an Indian scam company that purchases bulk merchandise wholesale and then re-sells it at a profit - for these reasons, they can not take returns (since they only have a limited number of items to sell and just about profit, not customer satisfaction).
Answer: That's easy - Vir Ventures is an Indian-owned and run company that resells wholesale items at cheap prices to American customers; and therefore, to save face, has its friends and employees (whom are all obviously Indian) post fake 5 star rating to ensure the company gives the appearance of excellent service (when in fact it is an incredulous, unscrupulous business). Stay away!
Answer: Well Sylvia, as I mentioned to in my other posts (and all of the other customers who posted 41 ONE STAR REVIEWS), Vir Ventures is a SCAM COMPANY that sells substandard, defective merchandise to consumers and therefore cares less about customer satisfaction and more about profit. For these reasons, I highly doubt you will receive a return label or get a refund for your item. Your best bet is to purchase items through Amazon that has excellent customer support and returns (or another reputable business).
Answer: You can try, but they will jerk you around until you get fed up and quit.
