Vinted are unfair and unprofessional. Deleted all my listings which have been their for months and all because of one listing which they"assumed without questioning" that it was commercial. I was selling my sister in laws clothes who sadly passed away a couple of years back from a rare cancer and the money was for charity. I am a full time carer and I do not operate a business. Vinted can go and screw themselves. I'll go to EBAY instead.
By using vinted i've made over $10,000. I'm not sure why others claim this site is a scam. You are only blocked if you scam others, make multiple accounts or are embarrassing other users. Other than that - there is no way to get blocked from the site or no longer allowed to buy/sell.
I've had extremely good luck with vinted. The customer service is incredible and replies within 24 hours. Highly recommend this app as long as you can follow the rules.
Unfortunately out of ten seller only 5 if you lucky are OK, it's worth the risk! Most clothes the arrive with strong personal perfumes unbraided in them, some with small stains that you will not be able to issue a complaint against. You can try and only if the buyer will accept you can send them back, but at a very large postage fees, the double you have paid. Vinted as a special price set up not for the buyer.

I even had a lady selling woman clothes in the man section, I made a mistake to buy a jacket, only to realise it was for lady, unfortunately vinted did not uphold my claim and I paid for it, unbelievable!
I sold an authentic Marc Jacobs bag on vinted.buyer said it was not authentic so buyer was allowed to keep without paying and only reason was vinted believed buyer….At least send bag back…you can buy Marc Jacobs knock offs? Sold exact bag on Poshmark with no problem…l had 2 sizes…exact opposite…extremely happy buyer…someone at vinted is probably walking around with my bag ($500). Sold for $80 as it was from 2008. Only use for used clothes that aren't designer if you must
This app is a joke, my account was first blocked without any pre-notification, this happened months ago I had several attempts contacting them, mainly asking how my account could be restored and now I tried withdraw my balance which failed...on top of this they sent me an email after the failed withdrawal where they recommend me to contact them in the provided link " contact us" that led me to page which said it is not available because my account is blocked. Complete joke.
Vinted is not for luxury items, this is a portal where you sell all your trash. It is for 2 Euro buyers who still complain and you just do not give a damn about it. Vinted platform is perfect for the lowest of the lowest and have earned lots of money selling things I first thought was better to throw away.
The Vinted customer care is the worst ever and people there are surely low paid staff due to their poor communication skills, if they even communicate at all. Trash deserves trash, and Vinted is the perfect portal for this. For serious sales, stay on higher quality platforms. Cost bit more, but you get what you pay for.
Vinted use Evri as a delivery service and allow them 21 working days to get your parcel to you. If/when it doesn't arrive, you have 2 days in which to request a refund. Is it reasonable to expect a company to take almost a month to get an item to you within the UK? Customer service is absolutely shocking. Don't risk it. Use other buy/sell sites that are more reputable and customer focussed.
Even do i saw all these bad reviews i been with vinted for about a year i have sold and bought items on this site and i have never had a problem. The only issue is, if you as a seller dont send an item they give u a negative feedback, but other than that i have sold a little over $1000 and i can deposit on to my bank account. I definitely recommend.
Absolutely shocking total lack of customer service. I sent 2 parcels at the same time and the courier company labelled them incorrectly.so they went to the wrong people. One buyer suspended the transaction straight away and the other didn't so I received their money. Trying to get any help from Vinted to resolve this was unbelievably hard. They have a script, told me it was my mistake for sending 2 parcels at the same time and I should sort it out in aa friendly way with my buyers. Different people at the customer service desk dealing with it instead of just one person so going round and round. So I will be out of pocket and they don't care.
They just take your money. Selling on this app sucks. United wardrobe was so much better! My order was mixed up by the seller and I had to pay and feel all the consequences. $#*! them! Leaving this app and will never using it again.

Vinted lost my jacket, charged me for everything and offered me no help at all.
I am being left without the jacket, no payment for it and probably charged for courier taxes.
I will use different apps which offer customer support in situations like this.

A good place to buy clothes, and you can get some great deals. But as soon as you have a problem the customer service is non-existent.
Had a dodgy phone call from something pretending to be Vinted, so informed them, and they blocked the account. Only thing is, I can't get back into it, despite providing all the evidence they required and more.
And you can't complain to anyone about them. So now taking them to the ICO for storing my personal data without my permission.
Put up my first sale on Vinted. A pair of childrens trainers. And within minutes was notified that I was blocked because they ASSUMED the nice trainers I was selling were counterfeit! I have proof of their authenticity and was selling them as a loss to myself! I shared this proof with Vinted but after this awful treatment I don't care for their services. This is the worst experience I have had with selling online ever, I usually use EBay and only went to Vinted because I was recommended them by a friend! Won't be continuing with them in future! They can keep my account blocked
They should be closed/shut down for violating human rights! They do not have an authenticity team however they INSIST your item is fake and block your account. To the message to provide the address for item authentication, they reply with automated messages. The worst is that 80% of users have replicas listed all over the platform and I guess it's just "what they decide". Below lowest customer service!
They are not professional in their work. I sent something out and the girl that bought my item didn't want to say that It was delivered. Once she finally delivered, vinted wanted to just keep the money I made since I don't see a trace of it anywhere.
I ordered an item and the seller posted through Evri for me to collect at a local store. Tracking said it was ready for collection but it wasn't there. It's still not there 4 weeks later and Vinted tell me I've got to be patient and wait for it to be returned to sender before I get refunded. No idea how long I'm expected to wait. Meanwhile they've got my money and the seller has lost his item. Appalling customer service.
They sent me a label that didn't work, the scanner said the code doesn't exist so I contacted customer services and they just sent replies unrelated to my question. I was asked to provide details which I did only to receive a computer generated reply completely ignoring the details I sent. It was just going round in circles… very frustrating. I then received a warning that if I didn't send the item they would cancel the order and I would receive a negative review. Absolutely shocking!
Brought a purse off vinted. When it arrived the zip was broken. Seller not interested or vinted. I had to pay the postage to send it back which wasn't refunded. Why it wasn't my fault. I would advise people to use eBay or Etsy when thing's are wrong they get your money back for you. Vinted even charged me for customer protection. What is this for. I wasn't protected. Avoid if possible
Thanks for putting your reviews up. I was wondering whether to give the site a go. Won't bother now I've read the reviews. Saw it advertised on the TV and was curious. Seems they need to get organised before spending money advertising. Thanks guys.
Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
