Victoria's Dress

My story is the same as all the others... Saw a picture of a beautiful high quality dress on their website. Paid $25 to get it shipped to us, upon arrival it looked like a 5 yr olds play dress. Very low quality material and looked ridiculous on my daughter. I emailed them explaining my dissatisfaction. They asked for pics of the dress and then just sited me quotes from their return policy. When I pushed further they came back with stupid comments like "I hope you will keep the dress, thanks for your understanding". Not sure what they are talking about because I certainly don't understand! After I continued on with my emails they offered to refund me a whole $5 back... not sure how that helps. I am going to check into the charge back on my visa that some one suggested. If you order from here just know it's a big risk and if you don't like it you are stuck with it! Wish I would have read these reviews before ordering.

Two bridesmaids and I purchased this dress for a wedding. I ordered the dress 4 sizes too big so that if alterations were needed, they could easily be made. The dress I received looked nothing like the picture on their website. It did not fit at all. The neckline was different than what was pictured and one sleeve was longer than the other. They do not respond to emails except to ask for a picture of me in the dress. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional.

They recommend that you order a 'custom sized' dress on their website. I provided my measurements (which I have provided to many sellers on etsy with no problem) and they sent me a dress that a) had a colour that looked nothing like the one in the photo; b) completely wrong measurements. In trying to return it, I am being told that they will only refund 60% of the dress and this is only after I send them multiple photos proving that they messed up the measurements! Completely unprofessional, a waste of money and absolutely not worth the risk! Stay away--look at the sellers on etsy instead, much better.

I am in a wedding and the bride had me and the other 4 bridesmaids order this dress. Mine was too small so I sent it back knowing I would only get an 80% refund. I reordered a larger size. When the dress arrived, it was a completely different dress, wrong color, wrong lace, wrong neckline. After comparing the dresses with the other bridesmaids, we discovered they are all TOTALLY different. Again, different lace, different cuts, different colors and vastly different lengths. We all ordered identical dresses. The company refuses to address this issue despite numerous emails. There is also no phone number to contact. So, I guess we are stuck with the dresses.
To make matters worse, they are refusing to give me a refund for the original dress. So, so angry!

I am from a rural area in the USA. I really enjoyed the uniqueness of these dresses. I bought 4 different dresses from them. I had problems finding a dress from other places due to having odd measurements. I never had a problem with the dresses fitting I went a little small on the bust to make sure it was tight. They biggest problems that I had were the coloring and time it takes to ship. The picture of the dress color is very different. However, they do say to expect that. I enjoyed shopping with them and as long as I didn't have my heart set on the color I would shop here again.

Where do I even start? Decided to order a gown off these people for a bridesmaid dress. Sent in custom measurements so was assuming there would be no issue with sizing. The one (low quality) image of the dress on the website clearly shows there is no train on the dress, however when it was received, there was at least a 2m train. I instantly emailed their customer service and explained that as per their website, I would be entitled to compensation as I would need to get the dress altered. I received no response to this email, nor to any of the chat conversations I attempted to start. After getting the dress altered, I sent them another email to which they replied instantly, telling me that they couldn't do anything because I hadn't contacting them within 7 days of receiving the dress. Appalling customer service and misleading website info, would give 0 stars if possible.

I ordered an expensive dress from this company. When it arrived it looked completely different than the online photo. The dress was cheap poor quality and unwearable. When I eventually got the company to give me the address to post it back to I posted it on the 8th June. They just keep saying they didn't receive it and refuse to refund me. This company is a complete scam. Do not get caught out by them.

My daughters prom dress arrived 2 days late and was a complete disaster. I wish I could include photos! The bodice was cheap quality sequined fabric and sparsely sequined at that. They used acrylic jewels across the skirt tail and used ONE CONTINUOUS THREAD to attach all the jewels... which are basically hanging loosely half inch down with the thread exposed. My daughter cried all night. Definitely a fake imitation... this company pulls photos from the internet and tries to reproduce the dresses... poorly! Does anyone know where I can report this website as fraudulent? We have had no response from the company since we emailed our complaint... they have no phone number. Lesson learned! You get what you pay for. We gambled and lost. Spare your daughters heart and do NOT. Order from Victoriasdress.com. It appears to be American company but it's Chinese

We had a terrible experience with the Queen of Victoria company. The dress we bought was different to the picture in terms of colour, look and sizing. We have attempted to get a refund but have been waiting over a month. They are shocking with communication and are based in China. This makes it very difficult to get any response. I don't normally ever write reviews but it was worth doing for this company to STOP ANYONE BUYING AN ITEM FROM THIS COMPANY. Please look elsewhere and avoid the hassle and money loss you will incur!

Never do I write reviews but how I have been treated by this company and the quality of the dress left me no choice. I'm only writing this so hopefully people don't make the same mistake I did! The dress that that see in the picture is what they are trying to IMPERSONATE. It is not how the dress is going to come out because the pictures are designer dresses, it's cheaply made and very noticeable. I've tried emailing and calling the company to get a refund and all they've told me was to find somewhere to get it altered. Don't waste your money, it's much easier to find a place near you that way you know how it fits and what it actually looks like!

DO NOT BUY A DRESS FROM HERE
The dress was not the right size despite getting a professional to do the measurements. It was red rather than burgundy- very different from the picture.
The worse part about it, was that they have said they would provide us with a 70% refund but have yet to send through the refund- despite it being over 5 weeks since we put in the complaint and sent back the dress.
This company is a scam- do NOT purchase from here and save yourself the headache.

Do not buy dresses from this website. I ordered a dress and I emailed them, clearly specifying what I required in colour (I said I needed a colour a shade lighter or darker then burgundy if they had it). They responded with some colour samples and assured me that the #34 wine colour would suit. The dress arrived some weeks later and the colour was very wrong.

Me, being a completely reasonable person, understood that there was perhaps a mistake made and notified them of this sending them images to show them the difference.

I think i am up to about 25 emails now and I don't think theyve even read one properly as they never answer any of my questions or address anything in my emails. It feels almost like a different person is replying each time. Most of the time they just send auto replies saying we will give you a 60% refund. At one stage they upped it to 70% but now they are back to the auto 60% emailed again. It is quite frustrating because i dont think that I should be losing money on a dress that was not made in the colour i requested or was shown to me.

Extremely poor customer service. I would implore anyone looking to buy a dress to not waste your money on this site, it is not worth your time and stress if something goes wrong because they have no interest in helping you.

I would also like to point out, the quality of the dress is also quite poor, they apparently made it to my measurements but the dress is extremely disproportionate. Given the type of website, I expected this would be the case as was willing to make adjustments however unfortunately colour can not be fixed.
