If I could give this company 0 stars, I would.
When booking tickets on this supposedly legitimate website, my friend and I realised immediately that we had been sold the exact same seats for the same event. We contacted Viagogo straight away, only to be told we should still travel six hours to the Royal Albert Hall and "see if the tickets work" — and if not, we'd simply get a refund. So in other words: waste money on travel and accommodation just to gamble on whether we'd even get in.
Every agent I spoke to gave me a different story. One said they were contacting the seller but if they couldn't reach them, only then could I get a refund. Another agent assured me we'd "definitely" get tickets, promised to send a confirmation email, and instead sent the complete opposite — saying the seller had up to 2–3 days before the event to release tickets. Now, I've been told they have until three hours before the concert starts to send them. That is completely unacceptable when I need to leave home six hours beforehand.
I even spoke to someone who had gone through the exact same thing at a previous event: they travelled all the way to the venue, were refused entry, and Viagogo couldn't even buy tickets from their own site to help — so they were left stranded and had to wait for a refund.
Despite repeatedly asking for my money back, I've been refused. Meanwhile, Viagogo and their sellers are happily making money off innocent customers, leaving us stressed, out of pocket, and completely let down.
This company is an absolute joke. Avoid at all costs.

Bought tickets. Concert cancelled. Artist in Prison! Asked by Viagogo to provide proof. Sent online proof of court case and venue showing event cancelled. A year on, despite endless promises no refund. Please do not use Viagogo.

I had to sell my Beyoncé concert tickets after something came up, so I listed them on Viagogo for £450 (even though I paid £578). A buyer purchased them for £550, meaning Viagogo made £100 off the sale — fine, that's their cut. But then they charged me an unexpected £9 seller fee after the sale was processed. Worse yet, I was told I'd receive £450, but only got €450, which converted to just £413.44. How does that make sense when the tickets were listed and sold in GBP? Buyer paid in pounds, and the original email confirmed I'd be paid in pounds. Their explanation? Apparently, I selected euros. Why would I do that when I'm in the UK and listed in GBP? They're cash-hungry and misleading — profiting massively off both buyers and sellers. Save yourself the frustration and use a different platform.

I don't understand some of these reviews. Adrienne from customer services was wonderfully supportive and was able to dispel my concerns about other people's negative reviews. I managed to speak to someone within a minute of calling, they had my booking and Adrienne (sorry if I've misspelled your name) explained the 3rd party process and what would happen if the 3rd party failed to provide the ticket. I would not hesitate in recommending Viagogo (and yes, I'm a genuine customer).

Others have said it, but I would also leave a zero if could.

I purchased two tickets to see Florence + the Machine at the 02 in London back in March 2022. The original show was scheduled for 19th November 2022, however, it was cancelled as Florence had broken her foot. It was then rearranged for 28th January 2023.

The e-tickets for the original show were sent from Viagogo to the 02 app. They were visible on the app so that you could gain entry to the 02. However, there were no tickets on the app for the rearranged date.

Therefore, I attended the 02 earlier in the day and checked with the Box Office. They informed me that my allocated tickets were now assigned to other people - basically resold without my knowledge or consent. I therefore had no tickets for the event, and no contact / refund from Viagogo. I travelled from Birmingham to London for this, including a hotel stay.

Rip off company! I tried numerous times to contact Viagogo, i couldnt get anyone on the phone, i sent letters and had two returned as 'not at this address' even though it was their London address's i sent letters too. I tried e mailing and never got an answer. I was ripped off for over £300, never received the tickets i bought. This is THE worst company i have ever had the misfortune to trust with my money. Stay clear!

We couldn't go to Andre Rieu concert in Wembley. Viagogo offered to sell my tickets. I was told tickets had been sold and the money owed to me was paid into my bank account on the 27th May it is now the 27th of June, and still no money has arrived. My order number was *******. Now the answerphone tells me that they cannot help me with this query. I fear this company is operating a fraudulent scam.

After my review yesterday after again with follow up calls to get my Queen and Adam Lambert tickets for this evening (Sat 18th June 2022) I've just been told by the agent on the phone that they will not refund me the money, eventhough they have not provided me the tickets. Absolute fraud - feel like I've just been mugged! Thank goodness I paid on Amex and they are on the case!

I purchased 2 tickets for an art event by mistake at 3 x face value (>£180).
Tried to get a refund within minutes after purchase as I realised the fraudulent premium. Customer service could only offer me to ‘list' the tickets at my own risk, no refund could be offered. All this despite the event tickets not even being issued, as the event date was weeks away from the purchase date.

If I could score a 0 I would! Absolutely disgusting how this site treats its customers! I bought tickets for 214 euro for 2 tickets, face value 67 euro. I then relisted tickets to sell. The gig sold out and I queried this with viagogo both by phone and email, they advised that it was showing on their screen that gig hasnt sold out and tickets were still available to sell. I had friends and family check the site also and the gig has sold out. I am left now with tickets to sell myself at double the face value or I lose money. I would never buy from this platform again nor would I recommend, stick to ticketmaster."
