I also went to the Gypsy Kings concert last night in Marbella. I thought I was getting a VIP pass for four tickets for almost £500 When we got there the organisors told us that they were fake tickets and that they had never heard of them. After a lot of arguing and upset we were allowed into the £28 ticket area. Very upsetting and will never use them again. Pass the word around, this must be stopped.
We will be reporting this to the police as the website must be closed down!

Impossible to contact
November 20, 2016

I put some tickets on this site for a very short time and removed them. They took £24 out of my bank account 'seller fee' despite reassuring people when you give card details they will only use if you don't send tickets you have sold. You cant phone them its fully automated and redirects you to website. When you email they take an age to get back and say they wont help without a reference number I sold with(I haven't sold anything) and I must have two accounts 'as they don't just debit people'. I feel helpless as they just aren't interested - so please go elsewhere. I recently used seatwave and they were great.

Will never use this site again. Sold a creamfields ticket. Sent it to the buyer who received with no issues but it did not reflect this on the site. They don't email you back and you can only speak with someone on the phone if the event is about to happen. Shocking service. No apologies.

CROOKS
March 15, 2019

HORRENDOUS!
Issues with their site lead to a duplicate sale. Was told I could add a further ticket and jumped through hoops to do so. However, rather than using the extra ticket, they sold some one else's ad chared me for their ticket! I ended up basically giving my ticket to Viago for nothing. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, CROOKS!

Viagogo sold my One Direction concert tickets, and 10days after the concert I still haven't received payment. Very quick to sell MY tickets but cant pay me what is due to me! After 20x emails to them, I got no response. When I got hold of someone via their facebook, he informed me that they are "investigating" my case. That is just a nice way to say "we are stealing your ticket money and proud of it". So many people are complaining that Viagogo stole their money, and I am yet another victim. HOW can they not be shut down?

They hide their fees and when you are finally presented with the full amount and try to cancel they order, they refuse to let you do it. Fees are same amount as ticket and gets double per ticket - not per transaction. They treat people as walking wallets. Disgusting way to run a business and to take advantage of people.

STAY AWAY!

I was attempting to buy tickets to see Micheal McIntyre at my local motor point arena in March 2018. The website kept redirecting me to viagogo who I had never heard of. I thought I was paying £115 for the tickets as soon as my payment details had been provided the price inflated to £165.47! The extra amount was for delivery and VAT, £20 of the total amount was not accounted for. I then discovered that the tickets would not be delivered until a few days prior to the event, Iam not expecting to receive any tickets and feel as if I have wasted £165. I contacted the venue to enquire if viagogo bought tickets directly from motor point, I was told they did not and the person I spoke to could not confirm if the tickets I bought were valid or existed. Looking at reviews I am one of many people conned by these criminals I really don't know how they sleep I guess they are laughing al the way to the bank.

I bought a ticket to the fifa world championship in Madrid for 2200 euros. There was no seat matching my ticket and I was asked to leave. I demanded a refund and they said I must have been in the wrong section i was escorted there by an usher.

VIAGOGO are cheats.
March 23, 2017

I have ordered an entrance ticket through Viagogo to the Chelsea Flower show in London coming up in May 2017. I have since found out that the Royal Horticultural Society does not recognise ANY tickets sold or on-sold from any site but their own official site, 6 months have passed and I had been told I would be advised when I could download my ticket. Viagogo also "sold" me a ticket on a members only day, which I am not, Having now seen other scams, I believe I will never be advised to download my ticket, or if I do, at the gate for the Flower Show, it will be not accepted. Perhaps I am lucky, I have found out in time and have been able to buy from the official site. I am however out of pocket $NZ. 298.40!

I purchased tickets in March 2016 to see Andrea Bocelli in Dublin in September 2016. I paid £450 for 2 tickets in lower tier. My tickets did not arrive on the due date, three days prior to the event. I had to contact viagogo 16 times before I eventually got my tickets which only arrived a few hours before the event and were back row seats with a face value of £90. Viagogo would not pay me the difference as they say that by the time they purchased the tickets the price had gone up. I was so desperate to go to the concert and I'd booked flights and hotel as I don't live in Ireland that I had no choice but to take the tickets. I was completely ripped off by viagogo

Dear All,

On 12.04.2017 I purchased from viagogo.co.uk 2 tickets for Atletico Madrid vs Leicester City - Champions League 2016-17.

The "small" problem was that they charged me with EUR 50 booking fee on top, which was not in the calculation for payment confirmation.

2 days later (today) I received several SMS for ATM withdrawals from my VISA card, made on Bali. Total damage EUR 500 in 3 minutes, before my bank security office blocked the card.

Let's stop those criminals and ALL Victims to complain at Google, if the Swiss Government does not care, at least to be blacklisted by Google.

A con
July 4, 2018

I bought two tickets for the O2 to see Queen on the 2nd of July. I booked two seats together and paid £285, The seat numbers on my tickets were Section GA5 row 13 seats 5 and 6. When we arrived at the O2 and showed our tickets we were told we would be standing, even though we paid for seats. I do not expect to pay £285 and stand for four hours. I will never use Viagogo again they should be close down they are a disgrace

After a purchase I found out that the price at VIAOGO was three times the price in my country.
I tried to cancel the order and could not... It is not even possible half an hour after making an order to cancel it.
They offer to sell tickets through them. But do not publish the tickets.
It's all a lie!
They can not be reached by phone. And I've tried many, many times over the phone.
The whole Internet is complaining about them.
Do not buy anything from them!

Absolute sh---
January 3, 2017

I to have been charged about 5 times the value of the tickets in the UK, have tried for 5 days to get a breakdown of the charge, to no avail, have sent 4 requests for a new password to get onto their site to avail either, have sent an email to all my contacts not to use this company, how anyone can give them 5 stars on some other sites is a big fiddle, regards Mick

Absolute RIP OFF
December 13, 2016

I bought 2 TKTS to Guns and Roses in Melbourne Australia. Tickets were advertised@ $157 each plus fees, all up $399. Once they sent the tickets with the price on them@ $89.50 each. I understand that Viagogo has to make a profit but that is disgusting. They also offer you a resale option and you get back about $289.? NEVER AGAIN VIAGOGO.

Trying to book a tcket and the site goes into meltdown saying there are 200 people trying to book tickets! And you wait and wait and wait as the queue bar goes up and up andup and then hey presto you have a ticket! Only problem is - its £125 to see the Charlatans! Are they trying to con me haha?
Now I love em but sadly not that much. Come on people get real stop booking madly overpriced tickets - especially when pissed - like I nearly did!

These people are a disgrace. I TRIED to buy tickets to a Jim Jefferies concert. They charged 3x the ticket price, did not state online that they are on-sellers of tickets, and then sent me tickets for a show that was on the month before I ordered them! Now I can't contact them as their "site is down for maintenance". Yeah, right. DO NOT USE THEM!

Booked tickets to watch Springboks vs Argentina in Argentina. Paid for flights and hotel. They were supposed to send the tickets to hotel in Buenos Aires but 5 days before the match the tickets still had not been sent. Changed the delivery address to hotel in Salta but the day before the game the tickets were sent to Buenos Aires. After a fortune spent on International Calls they said they couldn't help. They refused to overnight them to Salta. They did refund the money but that is not the point - the game was sold out so we couldn't get tickets! Terrible experience. Never use them again.

They should be ashamed, I was in two minds as to whether I could pay the £76 for 2 Russell Brand tickets, but decided to go for it, as I'm a massive fan. I made the payment, after it stated that was the full amount, only to see they took out £117 - what a disgrace, I don't have that money to spare, & looking at the other reviews, I'm certainly not getting my money back. Purchased 2 tickets for the Ireland V New Zealand game on 19th of November back in June only to be informed by email on 16th November that my tickets were not now available. Amazingly Viagogo are still offering tickets for the game but at 5 times the price I paid in June. Viagogo have not replied to emails and their helpline is only a set of recorded messages directing you back to their website. I have now had to cancel flights, hotel room and car hire as a result and with no contact not to mention compensation from Viagogo - under no circumstance should you book tickets from this company!
