Absolute sh---
January 3, 2017

I to have been charged about 5 times the value of the tickets in the UK, have tried for 5 days to get a breakdown of the charge, to no avail, have sent 4 requests for a new password to get onto their site to avail either, have sent an email to all my contacts not to use this company, how anyone can give them 5 stars on some other sites is a big fiddle, regards Mick

These people are a disgrace. I TRIED to buy tickets to a Jim Jefferies concert. They charged 3x the ticket price, did not state online that they are on-sellers of tickets, and then sent me tickets for a show that was on the month before I ordered them! Now I can't contact them as their "site is down for maintenance". Yeah, right. DO NOT USE THEM!

Absolute RIP OFF
December 13, 2016

I bought 2 TKTS to Guns and Roses in Melbourne Australia. Tickets were advertised@ $157 each plus fees, all up $399. Once they sent the tickets with the price on them@ $89.50 each. I understand that Viagogo has to make a profit but that is disgusting. They also offer you a resale option and you get back about $289.? NEVER AGAIN VIAGOGO.

RIP-OFF MERCHANTS
December 13, 2016

Rip-off. DO NOT USE. They charge you way over the odds for the ticket and then add a huge booking fee. You end up paying TWICE the cover value of the ticket. These scammers should be banned by the government. Someone is making a huge profit at your expense.

Scam artists
November 29, 2016

Used this website not realizing this company purchases concert tickets very low and then resales them for at least 3 times the price. I didn't see anything on their website that says they are a reseller. I should have know this was not a good company to buy from when their website said something about the ticket prices being different on the ticket than what you may have paid. We unwillingly paid about $400 dollars for 5 tickets where the ticket cost on each ticket was only about $20. I will never use this company again!

England v argentina
November 21, 2016

Ive, just purchased 2 tickets for the game, this could be partly my fault, but when i printed them off, they where 2 child tickets. I rang twickenham to see if i could upgrade, they where so helpful and nice. But i was told they could not upgrade the tickets also if i tried to use them i might be refused entry into the stadium. But the biggy is these tickets should not be sold. You can only purchase a child ticket with an adult ticket. Also they informed me that they have received quite a few phone calls on the same matter. A expensive mistake by me £200 wasted.

Impossible to contact
November 20, 2016

I put some tickets on this site for a very short time and removed them. They took £24 out of my bank account 'seller fee' despite reassuring people when you give card details they will only use if you don't send tickets you have sold. You cant phone them its fully automated and redirects you to website. When you email they take an age to get back and say they wont help without a reference number I sold with(I haven't sold anything) and I must have two accounts 'as they don't just debit people'. I feel helpless as they just aren't interested - so please go elsewhere. I recently used seatwave and they were great.

Viagogo invalid tickets
November 18, 2016

I purchased 2 tickets for Wales v Argentina rugby in Cardiff at £100 more than face value from Viagogo, traveled 3 hours to get there. The tickets were invalid at the turnstile! I had booked parking and a hotel. It was a ruined weekend. I can't get through to Viagogo to make any kind of claim on their guarantee which I suppose is how they want it to be! Don't buy from them!.

Purchased 2 tickets for the Ireland V New Zealand game on 19th of November back in June only to be informed by email on 16th November that my tickets were not now available. Amazingly Viagogo are still offering tickets for the game but at 5 times the price I paid in June. Viagogo have not replied to emails and their helpline is only a set of recorded messages directing you back to their website. I have now had to cancel flights, hotel room and car hire as a result and with no contact not to mention compensation from Viagogo - under no circumstance should you book tickets from this company!

Total RIP OFF
October 25, 2016

Was lead to believe was buying middle range tickets for a concert six months away. Yet PDF ticket value is only $80.45 and not the $208.60 I paid for each ticket, 2 in total (excluding their rip off fees, $526.45 all up).
Contacted so called customer service through web within three hours of noticing the rip off.
A few emails and still waiting for a contact name and number to talk to regarding this matter.
A misleading and disgraceful website. Take people's hard earned money as quick as they can.
Reported to ACCC and have family member who's a solicitor looking into matter.

I purchased tickets in March 2016 to see Andrea Bocelli in Dublin in September 2016. I paid £450 for 2 tickets in lower tier. My tickets did not arrive on the due date, three days prior to the event. I had to contact viagogo 16 times before I eventually got my tickets which only arrived a few hours before the event and were back row seats with a face value of £90. Viagogo would not pay me the difference as they say that by the time they purchased the tickets the price had gone up. I was so desperate to go to the concert and I'd booked flights and hotel as I don't live in Ireland that I had no choice but to take the tickets. I was completely ripped off by viagogo

What a rip-off
September 13, 2016

I recently bought tickets for Davis Cup Glasgow and mistakenly (stupidly) clicked on the viagogo link, thinking this was the 'official' ticket seller. As a result I paid £264.43 for tickets I could have bought for £90! Have learned my lesson, feel very stupid and will never purchase from this web site again.

Purchased 4 tickets for a London concert from Viagogo. They only delivered 3 out of the 4!
Had to purchase additional tickets on the door, due to their broken promises to replace the missing tickets before the concert.
Dreadful communication, NO customer service, NO ability to contact them in writing. They bounce back any emails sent to their customer address. Awful, awful company.
Complete rip-off merchants.
DO NOT USE VIAGOGO.

Swindlers
July 20, 2016

I purchased hospitality tickets to Cold Play as a present for my wife who wasn't able to go to a corporate event at the concert earlier that week. The tickets cost £900 which is no small sum for anyone. When I collected the tickets from Viagogo's agent, I noticed the face value of the tickets was £95. I questioned the agent about whether these were hospitality tickets and he looked a bit uncomfortable but said I could access the hospitality area from the seating area. Needless to say, when we arrived at the venue we did not have access to the hospitality area. It ruined our evening having to immediately contact Viagogo to complain and we spent the next 3hrs sitting in the cold waiting for Cold Play to start. It cost me another £100 drinking away my misery. Viagogo admitted liability however getting them to pay proper compensation is like getting blood out of stone. Once they know you have a complaint, they also cut you off from call them. You have to enter in your purchase order number when you call and then the line just goes dead. They are only interested in taking your hard earned cash and have no moral or corporate responsibility to their customers. I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole especially for more expensive hospitality purchases. Customers should note that this company is set up in Switzerland and its terms and conditions contain an exclusive jurisdiction and choice of law clause in favour of Switzerland. Getting legal remedy is therefore totally out of proportion and they are relying on most people abandoning their rights. This tells you all you need to know about this company - a bunch of swindlers in my mind. Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act may be an alternative route for compensation.

I had Coldplay tickets to sell for Wembley on 15/06/16, tickets arrived last week and were posted using UPS as per the viagogo instructions. Tickets were sent on Friday with expected delivery day/date of Monday 13/06/16. Tickets were finally delivered today - 16/06/16. I received an email from them saying that my sale had been cancelled and to top it off they expect me to pay for replacement tickets for the customer who bought them. When I finally found a number and eventually got through to a human being and explained the situation they said it was my fault that UPS had taken six days to deliver the tickets?
So I've ended up with no tickets, no sale and I'm now expected to pay extra for the replacement tickets. Never going near this website again. I'd advise everyone to steer well clear.

Some weeks ago bought tickets for a concert in Amsterdam for this Saturday 4th June. At that time there were a number of tickets available of different types and from different agents. The concert is now less than 72 hours away. I am extremely concerned that they are duplicates because Viagogo are again listing pair of tickets in the same section and row, as the ones I bought and the concert is sold out. Its highly, highly unlikely that these arent duplicates. Lord knows how many times they have been resold. So, as they ask all buyers, I emailed them my concerns immediately I recognised there might be a problem, no reply. A day later and the tickets are still up for sale. Their guarantee says they will get me into the concert. So far, I have had no indication that this will happen even though they have tickets available on their website for the concert - as they havent replied. I will let you know how this turns out! My trust in their much vaunted guarantee rests on whether they can resolve this. So far they havent even responded to me. I have booked flights a hotel as I am from London. I stand to lose £1000 or 1300 Euro but have heard nothing!

What a waste of time, over 500 euros on tickets that we couldn't get replaced because of some story about them being a third party seller and can't pass details on, spoke to someone who was basically an automated machine. Other people at box office also ripped off by this company, we travelled to Lisbon bumped into some roadies for Adele who said this was a common problem with Viagogo, don't waste you money. Conned
