Purchased an eagle that clearly shows it is 4-5 feet tall with long wing spans. What we received was a joke. Not even close to the picture. Total rip off and the company only has an answering service to field the calls and does not return customer support requests. We've reported this company to our Chase credit card as a fraud.

I bought a phone screen repair kit for a cracked screen. First, right after I used my credit card on their site I started getting phishing emails, and fraudulent charges on that card. Then it took them weeks for the product to arrive. Worst of all, it was a terrible product. Not even a phone screen repair kit, it was a windshield repair kit that ruined my phone screen.

I google searched the item I needed (cassette tape to usb converter). This company Vern store was top 5 on my search. I placed the order then had another automatic charge of $5.95. Which I have no idea how that happened. 1 week later the item did not come. I contacted them by chat. They said there was a delay and gave me a tracking link. (Red flag) The link looked different and did not show the city and state where my package was. Another week later my credit card cancelled a charge from them due to fraud alert. Turns out they tricked me into a "membership ". The same day another fraud charge came up on my credit card. I chatted again to see what the deal was. I was given the same run around about the membership thing was my fault and their are shipping problems and blah blah. Bottom line is this company is a scam, I had to get a new credit card and I wish I would have looked at all the bad reviews before I purchased.

Ordered a bird feeder. The picture on the website showed a tall feeder that could hold 5 lbs of seed. What I got was short and flimsy.

Did not get what I paid for. First photo is what I got. Second photo is what I ordered. Not at all what I got. This shop are scammers..

This company will use photos from somewhere else and use to advertise what's in the photo, but then send you something that looks totally different. I ordered a rustic large wooden wreath with large gold bells. From the picture, the woman was holding a large the big full wood wreath. When I finally got the wreath, it was small, made with plastic greens and about 12 inches wide. The bells were maybe 2 inches high and 1 inch wide. Very disappointed. This company pulls the lazy refund offer…. You can send it back on your dime OR they will refund 50% of your purchase. I will never order from this company company again!

Be careful with this store, just as another reviewer mentioned. The products come from China, not North Carolina as claimed. Regarding reviews, you cannot give a one-star rating—it's automatically set to five stars, and you cannot edit or change your review. I received a defective product that doesn't work, and they suggested I keep it in exchange for a 50% store credit. Why would I keep something defective that's essentially garbage? Returning it would just mean wasting more money.

Purchased a pair of shoes the were advertised as leather however it's rubber when I tried the shoe on when I took it off the soles came out will never by again advertising false will never buy again

I wish I would have done better research before ordering from this company. I had the same experience as others on here. Ordered electric gloves, received very cheap, regular gloves. The company admitted their error and offered a 50% refund. Sounds that that was their plan all along.

Waited for weeks to receive my "handmade Picasso flower pot". Paid 34.99 with a "deal" on the second one for 17.49. Received the pots today. They are NOT handmade, nor are they metal. They are a resin material... smaller than the size of my hand... so more like a bud vase. When I went back to the store to see if I overlooked the size, I can't access the item because the page no longer exists. Stay far, far away from this company.

I did not order anything nor did I authorize any charges from Vernier. Yet fraudulent charges from that operation keeps showing up on my bank account. I had to close my bank account and get a new account. Do NOT use Vernier website!

I placed an order for wooden spoons, I thought from a USA based company from Pennsylvania, it's been almost 3 weeks now and checked the status of order said it was from a different country! Claims they take phone calls 24/7 and no matter what time I call they hang up on me. When I attempt to contact through email only, it says it's on the way and they're sorry for any inconvenience! 👎

I actually like the teakwood kitchen utensils I ordered from VernStores or Vernier or whatever they go by when linked to the Amazon buying platform. The company told me of a delay in shipping and the items still arrived within 3 weeks of ordering them. HOWEVER - today I received a charge on my card for $29.99 and my credit card alerted me when the charge was made. I did not order anything else from the company, and upon looking at other complaints here, this company charges a membership fee for what I do not know. Wish I had researched the company before buying, because now I have to get a new credit card. If this company can charge a fee without my authorization, what else will they do with my information?

I ordered some waterproof gloves pd quite a bit for them. When they got here quality was lacking. 1st I got an individual confirmation for each of the 3 pairs, no where did it have a return option so I emailed got no response so I called directly. The female who answered was less then pleasant but explained I'd have to wait 2 more days for a return email. Once I got return authorization I had to print all the order emails and return emails and add them to the box I had to pay for the return. Once they received box I also got charged 15% restocking fee. I will never order with this company again.

Ordered and received light from the Vernstore. Was supposed to come in a case with lanyard, sleeve for 3aaa batteries. It came in a square box the size of the light with ONLY a charginging cord. Also said it was aluminum and it was plastic. Charged the light and it came on for about a second and would not turn back on.

Vernier sent me a defective product (of course, right?). They wanted me to repay a restock fee (5%) and a membership fee ($29.99) to get a refund. They rolled me around for a span of two months. I filed a consumer complaint with the State.
They are NOT legit!

Ordered two watches. Website said they will be delivered in 3-4 days from USA. Then I received email that these are being shipped from warehouse in China. Called call center and was told that these are in transit but they cannot tell when the delivery will happen and assured me they will cancel the order if not received with 1-2 days delay. Called after 2 days and was told order has been cancelled and I should look out for a cancellation email within 24 hours. But nothing happened. When I called third time, was told to contact customer service. Customer service for last 2 days is saying they have consulated management and cannot do anything. Just wait for the delivery.

Took 21 days to get and got a different shipping update every day. After 7 days shipping update said on the truck and out for delivery, took another 2 weeks after that update.
Finally received the vest but the removable charger/battery pack was not in the package.
Thinking the vest might have been returned once before by the way it was just shoved in the package.

I ordered a nativity scene December 14, did not receive until 12/27. Items look nothing like the picture, not handcarved and not made in the USA. I could purchase nicer items from the dollar store. Was a beat up cardboard box and styrofoam-no indication of a proper box from a reliable company, like Willow Tree. Complete junk and I paid $127. Then on top of that, I see a $29.99 charge on my credit card. Come to see that there was a checked box way on the bottom of the complete order page that automatically signs me up for a membership. I did not see this as it was way underneath the complete order button that I clicked. Complete scam. I am disputing with my credit card company. They want me to ship the item back at my expense and give me 50% refund until they receive it for the remainder 50% refund with a 15% restock fee. So I will be out of at least $40?!? Horrible! I learned my lesson.
