I have written an email to Venus to ask them to please reconsider their cookie policy. They State very clearly in their privacy policy that they will track my information and also share my information with other companies. I do not think this is fair nor is it a good business model. I spent a lot of money on clothing, gladly. I do not look upon uninvited spam emails fondly. If I want to contact another company for their service or product I will do so on my own. I think this is becoming more and more of an issue for many people and companies that cannot respect our privacy will lose our business.
Don't bother paying for 2 day shipping as I wait for my 500 dollars worth of clothes and its day 4! You think customer service would try and pay me back for the shipping charges since my clothes are scheduled to arrive within a day or two so I could have saved my money and waited for regular shopping.
As with other previous reviews when you return an item your return is deducted $6.95 for the return label which I understand. However your refund is also deducted a $4.95 "Promotional Shipping Discount". This is the statement directly from them: When you placed your original order, you qualified for a shipping discount because your merchandise total was $75.00 or more. After processing this return, your merchandise total now falls below the promotional threshold for the discounted shipping resulting in a $4.95 shipping fee. The problem is my return was over $80 so it didn't "fall below" the $75.00. They give you an e-certificate to use but that is not helpful as I will not ever order from them again. BEWARE!

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. I'm probably the insane one for continuing to shop with this Company. I'm done! Talk about incompetence, LOUSY customer service and the quality of clothing is horrible. If I could give 0 Stars I would.

You may receive half of your money. I returned a $24 dollar (unopened) sweater and they returned $11 dollars to my card--over half my money gone. I've been a customer for at least 5 years, but never again!
I purchased several items and two of the shirts didn't fit. Venus provides a return label and they told me "yeah we make it easy just place the return label on the box and send it back to us. We will issue you a refund." Once I got a refund they charged me $6.95 for the shipping label which was included with the delivery. Plus 12.95 shipping cost to return the item. RIP OFF... Never again will I shop with them.
I ordered 300.00 worth of clothing + a bathing suit through Venus. I am shocked to see all the negative reviews. Everything came in on time, was exactly what I ordered AND was high quality. I will order from Venus again and again. The clothes I got are PERFECT for my tropical get away coming up. Some of the dresses I got are a little long but that was to be expected as the website does tell you the length of each dress, and also I am barely five feet tall. I am normal a size four in dresses so that's what I ordered from Venus and they fit perfectly. Bathing suit was true to their size chart and also fit perfectly. I live in the U. S and will most definitely order from Venus again :)
You are better off finding a swimming suit at target. Returns cost 7 dollars, no exceptions. The swimming suits all fit weird and are not nice quality. I'm disappointed in the product and the fact its 7 dollars to return them. Don't waste your time.

The only thing good about this company is the selection they offer. Too bad the clothes are poorly made, and once you place your order, you have to pay additional fees to actually get the clothing (if you are from Canada). Misleading and a big waste of time.
I really like the styles of Venus clothes but the sizing runs a size or two small sometimes. If you are shapely, or curvy… you will need to size up a couple of sizes. I usually wear a medium to a large but I find it's safer to order the xl just to make sure it fits. The material is not the best but what do you expect for such great prices. Venus is a good place for buying summer clothes because you don't wear summer clothes that long. A couple of seasons and I'm recycling them anyway.
After not getting my package in time even though high duty charges and taxes were paid, I was supposed to get a call from the so called tracking department. Never got one. I called again and was told I would get the full reimbursement. While I did get reimbursed I was stuck paying a 8 dollars difference from the currency conversion for something I never received! Rip OFF. I have ordered many times but never again

Purchased the Impressive Color Block Sleeveless Print Dress, the material of the dress was a bit thin and see through, but for the price paid USD $29.19 was fine and was as described. Have had several other costumes in the past and they have been better quality but were a bit more expensive - so I think you do get what you pay for here. Service is perfect, ordered over the internet and collected the next day.
They have some gorgeous clothes but sizing and quality was a hit and miss. And I will never understand retailers that charge you for return shipping if the item is sized incorrectly or defective.
I ordered two summer dresses from them both in size small. One dress fit perfectly but the pattern was sewn way off, dead center of my chest, which is irritating. The second dress was gorgeous and good quality, but WAY too large for a small. I returned it for an extra small which is still a little large. So after paying them for the dress and then paying for return shipping because their sizing is off, I have to spend more money to have it altered. It's a beautiful dress so I will go ahead and pay to have it altered but I don't believe it's fair to charge your customers for returns when the sizing or quality is not as it should be.
I ordered one romper, and one dress from Venus. Both felt like I had picked them up at the local dollar store, and the dress even had a stain on it... as if someone had already worn it. I received it yesterday, and sent it back today. It seems the return shipping and whole process is gonna be a nightmare. What a waste of my time. The clothes look really cute in the magazine, but looks are definitely deceiving! Dont waste your time or money with this company. I even read reviews on the items I had purchased before buying, and they were good. Then when I received the cheap crap, I tried to go post a review on the actual site and it wont let me do it at all. I think their reviews are filtered, and fake because neither of the outfits I purchased were of any quality at all!

I received an e-mail informing me of a 50% sale Venus was having, I went on their site found some things I would of ordered but decided not to do to their false advertising. I sent their customer service an e-mail informing them that $3.00 off a $40.00 item is absolutely in no way 50% off and that 50% of $40 is actually $20. If anyone decides to order from Venus please be aware that they are false advertising their sales.
This company is affiliated with Swiss Colony. Ordered with both for years. One day I got Items Tooo big and sent them back to Venus. Both got upset and charged me 78.00 and put it on my Credit with Charge Off. I was upset. After all the times I paid my bill in Full they tried to Ruin my Credit. WRONG
I tried to order over 600 worth of clothes but apparently they were not able to use my payment info. Since their only options are call them at their phone number, or let it cancel and retry, the company is out 600+ of profit. I'm a little offended honestly because I'm hearing impaired and it turns out you need to have hearing abilities to fix billing issues. Customer service just sends this one default email and doesn't acknowledge your questions that aren't covered by it. I also have no plans to sit there and add all my stuff back to my cart, so I'll take my shopping spree somewhere more disability friendly. It's super weird I can't just put new billing info into the website. It's 2020.

I purchased for the second time, same bathing suit. Covid 19 has put on extra pounds. Ordered same suit in larger size. Bottom is one color of aqua, top is a faded out, cheap fabric, can't get wrinkles out, "Venus" tag in suit is cheap looking, not like previous suits. Their quality has slipped to bout zero.
Also ordered ombré shoulder cover up. Faded badly and stained my washer tub even after using cold water. Venus isn't what it used to be. $130 for two pieces of cheap fabric. Waiting for return label. Regret they are selling such cheap items at same price or higher!
No longer buying from Venus and not recommending it to anyone!
I returned two tops because of size. After spending $23.78 for duties and $25 shipping. They have refunded me partially because they representative said that they don't cover shipping! Originally when I spoke with another representative before I return the tops they said they do cover up to $10 shipping which was not true. I am frustrated because I believe its unfair to spend over $60 which is more than what the tops worth to return them!

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
