Harrassment

I did not make a reservation with this company but they keep texting about my reservation, when I explained it was not me and I'm not Tim Fusco they continue to harass and insist I have a reservation! Not sure what their scam is but I'd never use this company for anything how unprofessional!

Last minute cancellation
October 22, 2022

In January 2022, we booked our vacation home for October 8 2022 thru October 16,2022. On October 6th 2023 we received an email about our booking and it said that our vacation had been canceled due to construction going on at the home we booked. Talk about being bummed out. My grandmother had to spend hours looking for a new beach home for those dates. Thankfully we were successful, but we shouldn't of had to go through all that trouble. It's not easy for anyone to reschedule their vacation, let alone wait on a refund to come back so that they can last minute book another rental. This is also very inconvenient for those who have to fly in or travel by car from out of state. Imagine if they were on their way and while on their way they got that email? This is wrong and it is not okay. Do yourselves a favor and NEVER rent from these people ever. They are not to be trusted what so ever.

We booked a beach condo and we received an email two weeks before our trip that said we couldn't have it because it was under repairs. We made another reservation for a beach house later that week and we received an email saying that someone has now reserved it. This company is a joke. They don't honor reservations. What's the point of booking anything with them?! Stay away from this company!

Scam company!

This company is a SCAM!
This company is a SCAM! I booked a reservation in early March which this company cancelled due to Covid-19. Instead of refunding our money like most respectable booking companies would do they refused this and forced us to use a credit for a future stay that expires in September. I have went back and forth with them several times and even though they cancelled due to the Pandemic their lack of morals keeps our money in their pocket.

We canceled a trip 5 days before going it was a snowmobiling trip to Wisconsin no snow all trails closed and no snow in future we gor no refund and insurance giving us a run around never again will we use this company 1444.00 lost but we are going to idaho 8 feet of snow in cascade and airbnb is what we are using

I own a condo and one guest dinged it. So I was taken off Airbnb for almost a month now. First noticed it was off on March 5th and it is now March 24th. I have called and texted and emailed everyone I could to find out if the problem had been solved. They say yes but can't tell me when it will be up and running again. I get "let me check". And "soon". Then no response. The person who dinged me said they only got 3 towels for 4 days. No key to go to the pool. Also didn't like the sheets and pillows. I've seen worse reviews and no one taken down. So I'm not happy. Maybe someone will answer. I texted again today. Someone two days ago was to find out. No answer yet.

Ever since the vacation home we rent every year was owned by them, the weekly price DOUBLED! 2 YEARS and it's now double the price with NOTHING added! Things were broken and not fixed. This company is a disgrace! They said the extra fees are for the staff to address things in a timely manner? That is absolute BS! Please do your research and make sure that the name Vacasa is NOT associated with any place that you rent. I promise you will more than likely be disappointed and paying WAYYY too much for what you get!
(We rent in Hatteras, NC btw)

Ripped off
June 19, 2021

Had to Cancel rental months in advance due to covid and tried to get my refund. I called and emailed them at least five times and never got a responce. That was last summer. I would never use them again. I can't believe they're still in business.

Horrible company

I do not recommend EVER booking with this company's. Rental agreements are very gray and leave e company loop holes to screw over paying customers. I will be obtaining legal counsel to review our account. DO NOT EVER USE.

We rented a house during covid at Fort Bragg, Ca for 1543. 00 and then were told we could not travel there because of covid. Would they give us a refund? NO, they would let us go the next year only it would be 175.00 a night more for the same house! We have rented houses for years and this is the only company that screwed us like that. No wonder they have a 1.1 star rating. I would give them a -1 if I could. Would not give a refund!

"The worst customer service and support ever! Trusting Vacasa with my family vacaton accomodations was defintely a bad move.
Nicole (robot manager) you and your "fake" managerial team are inhumane and should be ashamed of yourselves.
Your intention is NOT to support hard working people who deserve a getaway...your intention is to rob and belittle folks with your pretend apps and chat boxes.
You ALL should be ashamed"

Absolutely horrible customer service
Absolutely horrible customer service. They don't answer the phone, their "contact" phone numbers lead to voicemail boxes that are perpetually full. They don't enforce any rules. Property is damaged, neighbors are upset. Really an awful company.

Manages a house in Hendersonville it's a big house with about three or four rental units in it each named after a wine like the Chardonnay unit etc. the place is infested with roaches and mice even after bringing this to their attention multiple times they did nothing it was a horrible nightmare, the owner of the house is a monstrous which, I made this very clear to Vacasa w Which continues to market the property despite the living conditions and horrific nightmare people will go through, Was woken up abruptly by a psycho lady in my pajamas to vacate only because we had complained about the constant mice eating our food and making us very sick they thrive off of weak ppl

We had issues with changing the dates where they told us they were changed and had I not checked before we were supposed to leave they would have stolen our money. They acted like the dates had changed but in the end they had not changed. Then when we got to the house getting in was a mission. We got there late and had to wait an extra hour to get in since there was no key in the lockbox and no response via text or phone. Then there were cockroaches in the house and German roaches in the washing machine. It was disgusting. The comforters were dirty and there weren't enough towels for everyone. There were no trash receptacles. The pool was dirty filled with bugs and the pool robot was left in the water. The place was horrible and if I could give zero stars I would.

I booked my vacation via Vrbo in full. Then start getting random emails from different people to fill in docu sign and being felt as scam didnt fill up. Called Vrbo said, you good to go. Called vacasa, said hey received full money so you good to go. Told them to email me with confirmation as i am getting random emails about booking. Finally said, hey your reservation is cancelled. Then get a email with Partial refund only.

They scammed me with $231.32. Also Vrbo tried to help but overall pathetic experience, where I lost 4 hours on phone email and also lost money. I will never go back with Vacasa or Vrbo any more

The place was great. Some suggestions: I was never told the key was in a lockbox until I was frantically calling various foreign numbers as my plane was taking off for my visit. Given the other comments, I'm amazed I was able to reach someone. Luckily I did.

The shower: the walls are completely bare. No soap dish, no place to hang a washcloth. Also no grab bars! And I think a bathmat rather than the wooden thing would be better in a place as damp as Seattle.

Very hard to cancel the booking
June 13, 2022

I booked the reservation which vacasa lists their property on VRBO.
It is very hard to do cancellation, as no one in VACASA responses the cancellation request and called several the reservation phone number, no one answered the phone.
It is on cancel request pending status for a while.

Booked this apartment with them and they never sent access code to get past front gate. I texted, called and got no one to answer or help. In fact after waiting for hours they responded saying there in no gate. And to go to Main office at another location for help. Who exactly would be there to help at 1am? I traveled 15 hours to be stuck out for several more. Finally I gave up, parked outside the gate and walked to my weekend rental. Tried reaching out customer service on Monday and was told I should have asked before arriving... How exactly should I ask for access code to a gate I don't know exists. Beyond u professional. DONT RECOMEND FOR ANYONE! As a result of my complaint I was Informed I was added to block list.

Do NOT use them!

Was very excited for my trip to Gulf Shores but we were hit by hurricane Ian and between damages, lack of gas, hwy shutdowns we cant go! I didnt even need a refund just maybe to reschedule they will do NOTHING for me! $1600 GONE. I cant believe it-this was a natural disaster and we are in a state of emergency. I will be letting everyone i know and asking them to share NEVER use this company!

Horrible service
July 6, 2020

My family and I stayed at Laketown Wharf in condo Panama City. We were super humiliated and put out of the hotel by a manager who claims to own the hotel, I don't know his name but he was white, with blue eyes and he was racist. We asked for help with the bracelets to use at the pool and they told us to get bracelets ourselves. Then he called the police to kick us out of the hotel and they were filled ignorance and were very selfish. We were thrown away like trash. Very bad elevators service, is the least problem in our case. Whatever the manager said to the police about us they believed him. They kicked us out, and we are going to look for a lawyer to find our justice for this bad situation! We use the Vacasa company they never available to help us too. Really bad service company
