USA Box is the most efficient and trustworthy mail forwarder company that I have worked with. My packages are prepared and shipped quickly. I get good value for money. I am totally pleased with this service.
I've had 224 deliveries in the last 12 years, and they all went well. The only problems I've had are with DHL, and I no longer ask to use them, so that's not the fault of usabox. You can check the box for FedEx, and they've been great.
I think the comments below are unfair to this company. Nothng was ever lost, and I was never overcharged. On the other hand, DHL employees here in Colombia do not understand their own policies, and sometimes sit on a package without knowing it.
I was going to sign up for this service, but glad I read all of the comments since I do want some that communicates well, provides good customer service and is reliable. Also, I will never use DHL again, I find that their fees are very high from previous experience. So if this company uses DHL, that alone is a major deterrent for me...

Please please I wish I had done more research on this company, in simple terms they are thieves, this s scam site, please do not use them. The come across as all legit until they have your items, thn they begin to show how much they will scam and steal from you. Anyone out there who can spread the word do so, USABOX.com are a scam. Do Not Use them.
Started using USAbox in 2002 and they've continued to be a fast and reliable service all that time. The repacking service always saves me money and the option of choosing from multiple carriers is helpful.
Wow, there's a lot of unhappy people here. Let me tell you my latest experience.
I have a Platinum subscription ($10/mo), which gives me a better rate on shipments. Still, on my last shipment, the usabox packers saved me almost 50% of the initially estimated price, by repacking everything to save on space.
So far, the support at usabox has been responsive when I had issues, like when a duplicate package appeared in my Inbox.
A word on volumetric weight (an issue for some): carriers measure a package's "weight" by taking either the real weight or using the sum of dimensions, whichever is bigger. Thus, several individually packed shipments will always be more expensive (due to padding) than a single repacked shipment.
The 4 stars rating is because there is room for improvement. Keep up the good work, guys!

That makes many things (especially light but bulky things) very expensive to ship internationally. I realize that is not USAbox's policy, that's the way it works when shipping internationally.

I had a platinum suscription for several years with them until they received the wrong package from the vendor and forwarded said package overseas. They admitted they comitted a mistake but refused to collect the package from my premises and left me with all the return expenses. Lesson learned! Users BEWARE!
These guys are lame at best. The don't receive packages on Saturday. The get pissy when you show up to pick up your stuff unannounced (even though I was perfectly happy to wait). They don't respond well to special requests or inquiries. But the biggest problem was when I had a computer shipped to Brazil (where I was traveling). My impression now is that they have no clue how to deal with customs in foreign countries. I had no idea what it takes to ship from the USA to Brazil, so I was relying on their capability. My mistake. After trying to ship twice (failed both times, but I certainly got charged for shipping both times), I gave up. My ATM card also disappeared from the shipment somewhere (could have been Brazil customs). In summary, I will never use these people again.
Only use them once or twice a month but no problems after couple of years. I've had problems with sellers getting orders wrong - a risk you take ordering internationally (nothing to do with usabox just something to consider)
This company is the biggest CON. I am very disappointed. They charged for posting my shoes. They told me the total weight was 7 lbs but when I checked the DHL airway bill it had 3 lbs. So USABOX charged me almost 3 times the normal DHL charge.
The volume weight for this box was between 6 and 7 lbs, all couriers companies including DHL, always round up to the next whole number (7 in this case). The actual weight was 3 lbs but as most seasoned international buyers know all carriers charge the higher of the two values, it's not up to us.
I agree with all the negative comments regarding this fraudulent, scamming website usabox.com. I personally had international proxy agents before and never had any problems with them. Now I'm from the US and I simply found what I thought was the "cheapest" forwarding service, domestically. It turns out they overpriced 10xs the shipping quote due to "dimensions" and not by weight. We are both in the east coast, why would you charge 10xs the shipping price?!? Then they wanted to get photo identification. Are you kidding me?!? They said it was random, but yeah right, someone had the same prob with them from ripoffreports. No way would I send them my driver's license or any other personal info. Also check the BBB, they have had several complaints. Then they attempted to CHARGE my credit card to "upgrade to a platinum plan." Well thank god I was smart enough and had a prepaid visa card on file with less than a $1 balance :). So stay away from this "company," as they will steal your packages and close your account with no warning. I'm glad I only had 1 pkg sent to them and it wasn't a valuable item :)

I view this company as a CON. I had a small item delivered to them, roughly the size of a DVD weighing 0.3kg. The value of the item was $30. They wanted to charge me $55 for delivery to New Zealand (this fee is more than 3 times what I have paid in the past through direct delivery). I asked them to discard the item because the shipping fee was too high They responded that they do not offer a discard service unless I upgraded to their platinum service (costing $10). Platinum apparently offers discounted delivery but the prices came up exactly the same. So I ended up paying $10 to have my package thrown away because they are a rip-off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The "fast track" plan is ideal for people who order infrequently and don't need a lot of options when they do. The "platinum" plan is good for users that order a lot from overseas and need extra options to optimize each shipment. MOST IMPORTANTLY - shipping rates are based on the weight and dimensions of a package and not on the value of the contents, whether your package was worth $1 or $1000 it still would have cost you the same to ship to New Zealand.

As you say, we received the "wrong" package from "your vendor" and forwarded to you following your instructions, this was not our mistake. It was either the vendor's error or yours. We just forwarded it following your instructions. It is sad that after being a customer for several years you do not know already that we are an honest business who strives to provide our customers with excellent service, and try to hurt our reputation by posting bad reviews. You have even used fake names to do this (like you did earlier on google). It is true that a frustrated customer can teach you a good lesson, in your case we can obviously see that you are acting in bad faith and have no interest in resolving the issue unless you receive a free service by playing the angry customer. What you are doing is blackmail.
