My son is the main reason why we love this brand because I always look for gluten free and healthy foods that is also affordable.
I like the variety of healthy snacks offered. Some brands I've never heard of, and I'm glad to see they're offering them.
My kids and I enjoyed our first box. We tried almost everything as soon as it came! Thats the only warning from us- you will run out fast.
With groceries sky rocketing, its great value for money for healthy snacks. Even their customer support is very responsive. Delivery could be faster.
Purchased a subscription for my daughter who has celiac disease for Christmas. Annoying they make the recipient provide a credit card even when redeeming a gift. The worst though is sending her a gluten free box containing wheat in 2 products. Then arguing about it when brought to their attention. Avoid this company at all costs!
Same list of comments and complaints for years! Excuses / delays blamed on covid! Do what I did- report them to The Better Business Bureau! I got a full refund within a week! They need to be shut down! In the words of "fake" Eric customer service- "hang tight"—
Received my first box today. Opened it up and I told my husband that this was the snack box I told him about. It's all "gluten free" products. So he dug in and grabbed a cookie. He bit right into it all excited because he was just recently diagnosed with celiac disease and still trying to figure out what he can and can't eat. A Lenny and Larry's snickerdoodle cookie seemed like a great option. I looked at the wrapper and noticed that there was no "gluten free" statement so I looked at the ingredients and the first thing listed was wheat flour. It even listen "wheat" as an allergen. WTH? I told him right away but he had already eaten a few bites. Now he has a flare up. I know we should have never trusted this but if I order a "gluten free" box I don't think the first thing we grab is full of gluten. So not happy about this.
I had urthbox for a quite some time before I realized it was kind of just dog water. 1/2 the items were always either not useful or not good. The rest were usually just ok with the rare gem every few boxes. I tried another sub box and the difference was so staggering I immediately tried to cancel, which didnt work. There's no way to do it on their website, which is definitely intentional. I tried to submit a ticket asking to cancel but got nothing back. Next payment cycle I got charged and emailed customer support. Not only did they have no record of the ticket, they claimed it was impossible to even partially refund me, which I don't believe. How can it be that hard to NOT send a box or two with a month of warning?
Although I enjoyed the boxes, Urthbox renewed my subscription without notifying me in any way. When I called them, they were unwilling to work with me or cancel my subscription. I strongly advise buying from a competitor that takes care of their customers.
I had placed a 3 month subscription. The first box was heavily delayed by over two weeks, only shipping AFTER I contacted customer service as to the whereabouts of the box. The other two boxes that were supposed to come the past two months never came. I have contacted customer service requesting a full refund. Do NOT waste your money!
I intended to order a snack box for my granddaughter at camp one time only and discovered I was being billed monthly for a repeating order! To make it automatically repeating without me expressing requesting that or clearly offering an opt- out is a scam
Don't even think of ordering anything from this company. They are 100% scammers. I ordered my box that someone gifted to me in November. It is now almost April. They have an excuse for everything. Such BS. STAY AWAY! And check your credit card statement - have your credit card cancel any payments to them.
It seems like "Eric" is everyone's customer support person. So assuming he actually doesn't exist and is being fueled by a bunch of thieves behind the scenes at this company. Despicable... STAY AWAY!

Received a gift certificate for the site and used.
Low and behold - just was charged for another six months and company will not cancel until another six months of delivery occurs. Company rep says it is their policy.
Feel deceived and disappointed as I do not want product being shipped.
Purchased my original "subscription" in October as a birthday present for my sister (birthday is November 9). By December it had not arrived and so I emailed to inquire about the tracking information. Was told I did not buy a subscription, but instead bought a "gift certificate". Had to use said "certificate" and pay extra for shipping. Did that in December. Was then told shipments ship on the 15th of every month. But that mine would be shipped in january. January 25th rolls around and still nothing so I emailed again asking for tracking info. Was told then that this shipment is going to ship next week. I am so fed up I asked for a cancellation and refund. Was told no because I have to cancel within 24 hours. Asked for them to change the subscription from 6 months to 1. They said they can't because I used a gift certificate (which I was forced to buy and use instead of just purchasing a subscription). Complete and utter scam. Probably won't receive any boxes. Buyer beware!
Would give 0 stars if possible. The gluten free states 100% gluten free, but that's actually not the case. I have received products that actually say "may contain wheat, or gluten" on the package. That's not 100% gf y'all.
This company is absolutely not worth your money. They do not ship your product until 1.5-2 months after you make the purchase.
I never received any tracking information for my package and had to constantly call/email customer service. It is hard to get through to customer service so you're forced to write an email. They refuse to call you and speak to you on the phone. This company is an absolute joke and I wish I could take back my purchase.
I purchased this as a gift for my father and was extremely disappointed that it took 2 months to arrive. My father forgot he was even getting a present.
This then auto-renewed on my credit card, which I had no idea was happening as that is not listed ANYWHERE on their website when you purchase this as a gift. I am beyond frustrated and will never purchase from them again.
This place is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any company. I ordered a ONE time mini vegan box at the beginning of February and did not receive my package for 2 months. Also they overdrafted my bank account for a whole other box that I never gave any authorization for. I have emailed the support team multiple times and have gotten no where, they are rude to me and have done nothing to try and resolve my situation. I never gave them permission to charge my account of anything. I do not recommend at all, they steal your money and scam you. Also was not at all satisfied with the box when it came.
Everytime a box comes, it always has some of the same products as previously sent. Only 20% of the items in the box are good, some taste horrible. I also received 2 hand sanitizers in the box which spilled all over the box! I thought they only send you food product samples. I have expressed this to Eric (at customer service), but they will not refund my order for the remaining of my subscription upon cancelling the service. Needless to say, I will not be subscribing to their service again :(
Was really excited to get this as a gift, until I got the first box. There were multiple expired items and some expire in a couple of weeks.
On top of that half the box was candy with no nutritional value. One "snack" was a box of bouillon cubes and another two were sprinkles for ice cream. Someone needs to define the word snack to this company. Canceling the subscription immediately!
Answer: It's a legit company, but their customer service practices are so shady I'd recommend you run in the other direction. Poor quality products, terrible customer service.
Answer: In my experience they do respond, but they don't really do anything to help remedy the situation. Avoid this company.
Answer: They were highly rated by professional shoppers and gift companies. I think they are getting their kinks worked out as what my kids have recieved are decent snacks and things we haven't heard of which was the idea for the gift. Shipping has been the biggest issue as we haven't known when to expect package.
