Good service

My first time with my daughter in the store just do window shopping. But then we found clearance ailes and ended up buying many different cosmetics. When we paid, the cashier introduced us the membership card and helped us created an account with them. When we left, we decided to come back to buy more products for friends and family members. We then found ultra coupons online. We came back, and they gave us back the money happily. They are very friendly and care for their customers. From time to time they will have promotion of buying ultra products of $19 will receive a bag of cosmetic as a gift. We love shopping at Ulta.we definitely recommend!

Love Shopping At Ulta

I love shopping at Ulta and have had great experiences shopping there. The employees were very nice and helpful. I didn't feel like they were following Me all over the store, like I've experienced at other places. Going in Ulta is like walking in a makeup world, everything is so organized and beautiful. I like that Ulta has a wide range selection of Makeup, Beauty, Skincare and Hair Care Products that they offer. Not only do they carry High End Brands but they also offer Drug Store Products as well.

I have allergies to fragrance and keep a fragrance free home due to possible health issues. While I can walk thru the store without a problem (because I don't live there or go near the fragrance), receiving mail catalogs including fragrance inserts invades my home. I sent an e-mail to Ulta asking to have my name removed from the mailings and the reason why. When no action was taken, sent a letter reiterating the, also to no avail. Then I wrote a letter directly to the CEO asking her to intercede on my behalf to get my name removed and why. Just received another mail catalog and no response from the CEO. I'M DONE! Will close out my membership account to hopefully stop these mailings and only shop at Ulta if needed. There are plenty of other places to get what I need.

This is the only Ulta that I constantly experience terrible customer service. I try to avoid this location although it's close to my home. If you have to return or exchange an item. The staff at this location will act like it's a conspiracy and give you the third degree (especially if you're a minority). Most of the ladies I go to class with have the same issues with this location.

Disappointed
October 29, 2020

I really don't get the premium option if it's not true? Just wasted $16 only on SHIPPING, its literally all a scam. It first said it'll get to me today (Oct. 29th) and now its saying Nov. 3rd. Never shopping here again. I'll spend my money somewhere else.

No Refunds!

I've called at least 4 times and had 1 hour conversations each time and can't get anywhere! English is absolutely their customer service reps 2nd or 3rd language. It makes it so difficult to communicate! I was told there is a 30 day waiting period before they refund money—how ridiculous is that? Last they told me is there would be an electronic gift card for the $70+ sent via email within 20minutes. That was several days ago.

Every visit to ulta is amazing. Im greeted by beautiful smiling women. I feel empowered and never cluess. Theyre very knowledgeable on the items at ulta. I end up trying new things that Id never thought of. I overall enjoy this company over any other retailer.

Ulta shipped my package to the wrong address, to my physical/billing address instead of my P.O. Box. I just received a package from them a week prior with no problems. Now they sent this one, it ended up at the wrong post office. And they will not reship it back to the right address at all their saying they can only refund my money … I ordered my second package on a day they were giving a 5 piece gift set away with a $65 purchase so now I'm not getting anything and they will not give me any choice to still be able to get the gift set! Absolutely ridiculous. And the people that work for customer service are terrible! The two I talked to atleast. Very disappointed and will never order from Ulta again.

Ulta has an incredible array of name brand and other cosmetics. They have people to help direct you, people to try out products on you, and people to assist you with your purchase. Basically, they have EVERYTHING cosmetically related. Don't forget the coupons and the monthly sales. Great store!

Poor customer service

I love ulta for their products but unfortunately, they have extremely poor customer service. I just finished coming from ulta specifically the store at the briargate shops in CO, and the make up staff made me feel Very unwelcomed. Instead of providing help, they showed attitude and bad mouthing when I can clearly hear their conversation. Pretty disappointing which has made my decision to do my shopping at sephora instead.

Rude customer service

Had the worst customer service. When I asked the girl where something was she huffed at me and then there were stickers all over saying free gift with $15 purchase. So I spent $16 and when she rang me up she didn't say anything about it. So I asked and she again huffed at me and just stared at me. I asked what I was supposed to do about that cause there were stickers all over the display saying it. So she once again huffed and went to walk the 15 steps to look at it and then came back to say, that sale doesn't even start till tomorrow, so I don't know what u want me to do about it. At this point I was so mad I just paid and grabbed my stuff and walked out. Will never go to that location again!

Be careful about ordering at Ulta.com. If you need to change or cancel your order (even a minute) after submitting it, you're in your own. They offer no help to you. I changed my address before ordering and it reverted back to my old address. I noticed right away (11pm on a Sunday) and contacted them. They said they couldn't change it nor could they cancel it because it was already in shipment phase. No possible way that was true. So now I have to write a letter to the new owners of my old house and hope they are nice enough to call me when my package is delivered. I noticed other reviewers have hand similar issues with Ulta orders and I wish I would have read them before having this problem. I won't be shopping there anymore, online or in store.

Ulta has contracted with Ontrac, beware of Ontrac! I won't shop ulta online anymore due to this horrible shipping company! Look up Ontrac, they have horrible reviews! Look them up on YouTube and you'll see everything you need to know about Ontrac! It's obvious ulta only cares about cheap shipping and NOT their customer! By using Ontrac ulta took the fun and excitement out of shopping and have replaced it with stress and frustration!

Bad service

They give you an option for curbside but I have been sitting here for thirty minutes told them I was here through the app and still no one had come. Therefore I had to leave and walk inside to pickup. When I went inside they didn't even have the right thing I ordered.

While I haven't ordered from Ulta before, I do shop at their store. I love the review pages on Ulta. If I want to try a new product, then I go on Ulta and read the reviews from people who have tried them and base my decision off of that!

Shoppers beware

Ulta shoppers beware! My wife bought a few products from Ulta and decided she needed to return. Brought the items to local Ulta store, with the original sales receipt and was told her return could not be processed without a phone number. She bought the items under her sister's phone number, it's a loyal program I guess. Anyway, she did not have her phone with her at the time to give the number. Sales associate at the register insisted she could not process the return without a phone number. Again, the original receipt for purchase she has with items for returns. Finally the sales associate offers to speak with a manager. The manager states the same thing, but says she will process the return. As my wife is asking questions on this trying to understand such a ridiculous return policy, the manager then says our return policy is on the receipt which states phone number. My wife says yes. It's also states if not bought with a phone number of record, the original sales receipt must be presented. Here is my sales receipt so I do not understand why I was told my return could not be processed. Simply dumbfounded about this. This was frustrating to say the least. Ulta has lost a shopper here. On a side note, the sakes associate and manager were not rude in this transaction, just not aware of their own store policy as it is written.

I received an email for a free sampler set after placing an order for $60 or more. I did everything as I should have, the sampler was still in stock when I placed my order, but after my payment was taken the sampler disappeared from my order. I emailed their customer care and was surprised to receive an email stating every reason why they believe it was taken off. Not once made an attempt to fix it, not once was there any sort of apology for their system error, not once was there even any acknowledgement that she even knew what I had emailed about in the first place. I replied explaining what happened, yet again, only to receive another email saying that I didn't qualify for the offers (sent me completely different offers that weren't even available at the time of purchase) and said that's why I didn't get it. After multiple times trying to explain over and over, I gave up. Worst customer experience ever. I will be returning my purchase and taking my business elsewhere.

Empty Box

I received an empty box in the mail, well except for sample called to see if there was another box informed no it was in that box. Then told well we are out of the free gift didn't offer substitution or explanation how they didn't pack a box for shipment. Then received nasty email that it would not be refunded. Hold time to speak with Penny the supervisor was 45 minutes so apparently a lot of complaints and Amanda C. Guest services sent the nasty email. Do not bother shopping here pay the extra dollar or two for good service. They are very combative and accusatory to the customers. They even said they couldn't guarantee Christmas delivery if they resent what they had left even though I was on their very site and you had to midnight to order to guarantee delivery I guess that didn't apply to their own screw ups.

I ordered Items for Christmas on Black Friday. Checked shipping status Evey day with no updates. I attempted to contact Ulta by email with no response. Today I called and they appolagized that item had never shipped. Stated they could reship would be up to 9 days, which at this point I don't have. I asked for help with purchasing it and having it held in a store to pick up on our way to our sons. Response was only if I can get there is 5 days. I asked for expedited shipping, response was, cant do that. I asked if the gifts that were included from my Black Friday order were available yet. Response was no they are gone. What is to love about doing business with Ulta?
