For cosmetics, Ulta is my go-to store. Ulta has some excellent exclusive brands and products. They provide incredible discounts. They always provide a free gift and a voucher with every purchase. Overall, an excellent experience with timely delivery and pick-up orders.
The prices on a lot of their products are comparable to the drug store and they do have a wider selection of the products than in the grocery stores. My Ulta locations have very helpful employees who are willing to help customers compare products and help select the best for my needs. So I'm very happy with Ulta.
This was a HORRIBLE experience. Ulta removed all of my rewards and said simply, "Oh they expired". I never got an email about it, regardless that they kept insisting that I did. This is a shame that people are getting their rewards taken away in a pandemic that had stores closed and some people are not comfortable shopping online. What a way to make a customer who has probably spent over $5,000 in the past few years feel valued. This is a DISGRACEFUL thing to do to people in general BUT especially now. I was looking forward to using my rewards this week for Christmas gifts as my wallet has shrunk with the pandemic. This is really wrong and I will think twice before I shop at a company that has such little regard for people and the tough times that they are going through now. Shameful and I am disgusted by this!
I was a little skeptical but after taking a whirl at shopping here. I have come to find that this is one of the finer stores. I have to admit the samples and reward program is better than Sephora but the downside is that they lack a lot of key luxury products.
First let me start off by saying I'm an employee in the location in Clifton and the customer service I received in Kearny was shocking. The manager was so rude and started whispering to the other coworker. She literally kicked us out of the store and turned off the lights. She also refused to check if they have back stock of a product. Told me to quit my job and work at their location which is ridiculous. Didn't even tell me I became a platinum member when I got my receipt. I'll
I was excited to go in for a color and a cut. The website offers a discount for 1st time customers. When i went for the appointment, the ulta employee seemed ok. I told her about why i hate going to salons. They push you toward what they want. She went on and on about how awful that is. It wasnt until after i left that i realized that same thing happened again. She talked me out of a cut that i wanted and she simply did a trim. I also wanted a lighter color, but she really just ended up doing my roots. She said that SHE liked the color that it already was. I feel so stupid, but that is what happened. When i left and paid at the register i realized that i was charged for a full cut, full color and there was no discount. I wont return of course.
I love buying my makeup kits over here the formula and the quality of the products is way too awesome and these products last for so long, the skin care products are also amazing I truly recommend Ulta
I ordered some makeup and it took almost 3 weeks to get. To me this is unacceptable. I usually buy from another online site, but the site I usually go to didn't have what I needed (out of stock). So I decided to try Ulta. I would've been better off waiting for what I needed to get back in stock. It took them forever to even process my order and then when it was finally shipped it was 3 weeks later. The packaging was ok and everything I needed did arrive, but 3 weeks?
Great store and great people who work there. Savannah was amazing and very helpful, she explained to us everything and made us have a comfortable and enjoyable shopping experience! Will definitely return!
So what's the deal? No sales, no discounts, just standard products. Their own line, which is value priced, is awful. None of their makeup products stay on for more than an hour and packaging is misleading. The gals who work the store don't care. Guess they are not treated well and have no incentive to treat customers well. They just try to upsell or 'force' the most expensive products on you. I'd rather go to a drug store with no service. At least the drugstores have a return policy.
I am a platinum member. I love how fast they ship the orders to your home. I love how the customer service helps at a timely manner. They have very great selection of makeup brands yo choose from. I love when they send samples also.
Just checked the status of my order. A delivery was not even attempted and never received any communication from Ulta... just says returned to sender. My address is correct and I have received package no problem from Ulta in the past. My last three online orders have have the same return to sender without any communication. This is not the kind of service I expect for a Diamond status client. I don't want my goods returned and I don't want a refund to pacify my aggregation. Why can't my goods, that I have paid for, be sent to my local store for my pickup if Ulta can't follow through on their end of the deal? Shame on you Ulta for such poor service. Sephora is calling my name.
Unfortunately, I lost my money with this company. I ordered something for the first time, paid for delivery and nothing. I received nothing. They suggested me to check it with the delivery company and that's all. They don't care and have nothing to do about your order since the money were paid. But why? I ordered the package via Ulta Beauty. They should take care of my delivery.
I wouldn't call myself a regular Ulta customer but Ive popped in several times to pick up a few items. There's a new store in Olive Branch Ms n I stopped by there a couple of times. Both times, I was asked by multiple staff if they could help me. Meanwhile, they didn't approach white customers to ask them if they need help! I'm a nice person and iit took a lot for me to not curse out the staff today! I don't steal! It's not my fault if some black people steal, believe it or not, we r not all the same! While they r watching me, I hope the white customers r robbing them blind!
I walked into Ulta Beauty at Wellington, Florida for the first time and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. I came across Israt and she recommended a special facial that will help my face. I booked a facial with her and she remembered me right away. WOW! Israt did the best facial I have ever had. I could not believe the difference right after. I was so happy, I booked another one with her. She is a HUGE asset to Ulta Beauty. Thank you Israt and I will see you soon.
I really loved using this service. It is really comfortable and understandable. I ve encountered a few lags during my visits but I guess it happens from time to time
I absolutely LOVE Ulta! Their brand of makeup is awesome for the price and they have the best points system! They collab a lot with Urban Decay and always carry the exclusives online before released in-store. Ive never had issues with online ordering, shipping takes a little long but Ive always received what I ordered and never any damages. Never had issues with their return or exchange policies. I wish they were better staffed in their stores but other than that, I will always shop Ulta over Sephora any day!
I do most of my shopping for skin and hair products at Ulta as they have a fabulous selection at reasonable prices. I also get Microdermabrasion, Use the hair salon, and the Brow Bar. They also have a wonderful rewards program. I'm always receiving free gifts and samples, and a special birthday gift every year
I love shopping online with Ulta Beauty. They are always so nice and really to help and you can find so many cool things on there website and I'm always so happy with the things i get and the ship really fast to...! What more can you ask for ;)
I ordered close to $300 worth of products on Black Friday, and the order was placed. I checked my email and received a confirmation email and all. When I checked the app on the following Sunday to check the status, my order was cancelled. I called Ulta that same day and was told a supervisor would call me and I would receive a gift card. Four days later I still have not received a call.
I decided to call Ulta and upon the agent answering the phone, they kept cutting me off and provided a horrible experience. They would not transfer me to a supervisor or would not even attempt to transfer me when asked.
Overall the experience with Ulta has been terrible, I have been a loyal customer and I spend a lot of money when there. I will never shop with Ulta again, and I would recommend that anyone else save their breath when calling the customer service line. Anyone is better off going to Sephora!
Answer: It's not that the prices are particularly higher than anywhere else, it's that the products they sell are very high end and nowhere except like Marshall's etc has any of those brands for less. So I'd say yes they're all worth the money. Some brands are better than others depending on personal preference but they also have a rewards program that's free :)
Answer: If you're asking about Ulta's brand, you can only buy it at Ulta. Other items can be purchased through other retailers. However, you have to really dig to find anything cheaper than Ulta. Especially during a sale and with a coupon.

Answer: Many companies have this policy. Probably because they allow returns at their stores very easily. I usually just place a new correct order, and return the incorrect order. Sometimes if you call customer service, depending on the mistake, they can fix it for you.
