Totally disappointed with the order I received today. The website said the shampoo I wanted was in stock at the Bolingbrook store. Drove all the way over there to find out "the website is not updated" and the shampoo was not in stock. So they ordered 2 bottles for me with free shipping. I received the order today and it was a hot mess. The shipping envelope was sub-standard and inappropriate for the product. The top broke off one of the bottles, leaking shampoo everywhere. The package was completely saturated, and my mailbox was filled with shampoo. I have learned my lesson; if the product is not in the store, do not buy it under the guise of "free shipping." Ulta, please pay attention to these reviews. I'm not the only one who has experienced issues with your shipping and packaging
I was trying to make an online order with a gift card and their system was asking me for a credit card. When I talked with a representative, he confirmed that to make an online purchase with their gift card, you need to put your credit card too. Or, as he informed me I could go to their store. During the pandemic it is ridiculous to advise customers to visit a store. And it is more ridiculous to ask for a credit card to make a purchase with gift card. Which I don't even know if this is legal
Ordered over $200 worth of items on the Ulta website on Nov 22. On Nov 27 I got a call from them saying there was a "problem with my package and it was damaged." They asked if I wanted them to resend it. I said yes and was told it would arrive after Thanksgiving. (Note, they did not expedite the shipping as most reputable companies would. They just put it back in standard shipping.) On Dec 8, (still no package) I emailed them to ask the status. Dec 9th, I get an email saying my entire order was refunded.? No response to my question, no explanation for their crap service, just arbitrarily refund the order I've been waiting for since Nov 22. I will never ever ever shop here again. Rather pay more for better service at sephora.
It always delivers after it shipping date but i wait for that because the product i get from here does not available any where else. So i have to wait but after the delivery i satisfied with that... good value for money..
I am a makeup lover and found that my makeup taste are quite expensive, so once I found Ulta and there selection, I was thrilled. They have excellent prices and selection as well as great coupons and deals in store and online.
My order was late for more than 2 weeks. And now they sent me email saying my order got lost in transit and has issue me a refund and told me to reorder. So that means after waiting 2 weeks I have to wait for refund which take at least 5 days and wait for my order for another 2 weeks.
That is 5 weeks in total. Thank you for wasting my time and money.
The customers services is the worst and your representatives will hung up on you. Even the supervisor is not professional and do not seem concern with the customer's case. At the end, I do not get my order nor my refund. My problem is not solved at all.
Waaooo! So many different brands are available at ultra beauty website. I really liked this site provides high quality cosmetics, skin care, fragrances and so many products at very reasonable cost. Offers some great deals and discounts along with some freebies. Some of amazing beauty tips, tricks and blogs are also included. So i am happy with ultra beauty.
Love that you can try anything in their store and can return for refund if you don't like it! They have all the great names as Nordstrom type stores and live that I don't have to go to a mall to purchase. Even have a benefit Brow bar!
I have spent thousands of dollars at Ulta over the years. Now I am canceling my credit card account and giving up my rewards and shopping on Amazon instead. I placed an order on 4/15 and it still said awaiting carrier pickup on 4/27. So obviously something was wrong. I called on 4/27 and they said they wouldn't do anything until 8 business days had passed. 4/27 was the eighth day so I had to call back on 4/28. By then of course my free gift was sold out and I wasn't going to get the birthday gift I had ordered in time. The whole experience ruined the fun of shopping and has left a bad taste in my mouth with regards to Ulta.
I have never had a bad experience with ordering online! I have never paid for shipping and have always had the packages within the week! Their products are always in excellent condition, if I buy at the store or online! I would always recommend ULTA!
I absolutely love Ulta. In store and online. I am never disappointed by the prices of the amazing cosmetics and I absolutely love their customer service in stores. The only place I'll buy my "designer" makeup!
Recently I opened to myself the world of online cosmetics and I totally like it. I unusually don't have much time so I prefer shopping online now. I liked the quality of the products and the terms of delivery so I would recommend this service.
Products are actually really good, but the employees in every store so far I have stepped into believe they are Mary J Blige or Lady Gaga and treat you like you don't belong if you are not caked up like them. Remember who pays your bills.
Horrible customer service, no help. Order was marked as delivered when it was not and I contacted customer service by email and got no response then used their chat function and was met with absolutely no help.
As a valued costumer with other places I have received help for packages delivered to the wrong address that should have been forwarded. Often the shipper is able to help! I received zero and no attempts. I receive so much more other places and I that's where my loyalty will go! Sephora and amazing have been amazing In Similar situations.

I received a gift but I had the item and went to Ulta to exchange. First, cashier told me I could not so she would return the money for person that bought the gift. Luckily my in law sent the invoice and I showed her yes, I can exchange for something else. She said in a rude way we will have to call the manager to fix your issue. The manager came and I said I just want to exchange or a gift card. She gave me one and I asked if could buy online because online store has more itens (the Ulta stores in US are a mess). She said yes you can buy online. Nope, in store use only so I came back to other Ulta and the very nice girl gave me a valid gift card. Here is the main problem, my address was saying invalid (never, ever had a problem with my address. Tried everything and talking in chat She said I might have spelled wrong. What? I just want to spend my gift card! Finally found out that the my apt number was not in address 2 and it could not be in capitol letter. No coma, no capitol letter, no abbreviated, nothing!

ULTA has now started offering gifts with purchase but when the actual purchase takes place, the gift is not included, and the order doesn't ship for at least 10 days (more in some cases). If you attempt to resolve an issue, ULTA sweeps it under the rug every single time and twists the situation to make it appear that the customer was either negligible or confused, even when the facts clearly show ULTA is at fault and should offer a remedy. Money is the bottom line with this company. Do not order for this company. If something goes wrong, ULTA absolutely will NOT take responsibility and will find ways to keep your money.
My Ulta shopping experience was amazing! I was able to find everything that I needed without any trouble! I even enjoyed how they recognized me on my birthday and gifting me a birthday gift! That shows how well In detailed they are with their customers! Thank you so much Ulta for such an amazing shopping experience I definitely will be back very soon!

Answer: It's not that the prices are particularly higher than anywhere else, it's that the products they sell are very high end and nowhere except like Marshall's etc has any of those brands for less. So I'd say yes they're all worth the money. Some brands are better than others depending on personal preference but they also have a rewards program that's free :)
Answer: If you're asking about Ulta's brand, you can only buy it at Ulta. Other items can be purchased through other retailers. However, you have to really dig to find anything cheaper than Ulta. Especially during a sale and with a coupon.

Answer: Many companies have this policy. Probably because they allow returns at their stores very easily. I usually just place a new correct order, and return the incorrect order. Sometimes if you call customer service, depending on the mistake, they can fix it for you.
