Trustpilot is a scam company they created our fake profile and when we asked them to remove they are not removing it and saying its public transparent reviews website. I have read an article on their own website which says we can contact them to have any of our content removed but when we did they are not listening to us.
Please avoid using their service they are scammers.
Their services disgust me every day. As a business they cannot provide any support to competitors hitting me directly on my account with bad reviews rather it has caused me more business because of them.
Trustpilot is extremely fake now, most bad reviews get removed and they do everything to not let the review back on. Right now I'm literally been asked to provide documentation for a browse only website. Most positive reviews are very fake as well. Terrible site.
In the not-so-distant past, my firm had a suite adjacent to Trustpilot. (I'll omit the exact location to minimize any chance of repercussions.)
I'd interact with some of their employees in the hallways/common areas from time to time. I'd bet all of them - every single one - would corroborate these negative comments. They hated where they worked. Hated it. I'd say the typical tenure within this particular office was less than 4 months.
If a business pays for a business account, they can request the removal of reviews by requiring customers to jump through hoops to prove their authenticity. It's evident that they intentionally leave these reviews up for an extended period, only removing them after six months, banking on the likelihood that the reviewer won't revisit the issue once emotions have subsided. Use Google as you review platform they won't remove them for money.
Was a member of this scam site until I recently made a review about a terrible service I had received as a customer of row.co.uk and then trustpilot took my genuine review down stating it went against their community standards more like trust pilot now has shares in certain companies and won't allow customers to review them disgusting site should be shut down
There should be laws against these total bull$#*! review platforms. They are just full of fake reviews by companies trying to manipulate gullible consumers. Just take a look at Bewley Homes and how all of their 5 star reviews are strangely identical. It's a joke. I wrote a review about Bewley Homes and their tacky cost cutting cheap fittings and fixtures and it was removed after pressure from the building company. Waste of time and totally corrupt.
I have been trying to post reviews on Trustpilot for years about bad companies. I thought that a review site was exactly for that... reviewing sites or companies but it's not the way it works with Trustpilot. They charge companies a fair amount of money to keep bad reviews out. Over the years, they have changed the rules to fit their protection racket hence removing your posts based on whatever ridiculous excuse they can find. Even when you bring up proof supporting your review, they will have it "temporarily moved offline" until you make changes. Once you made those changes, they will come up with more excuses to give plenty of time for fake posters to bury yours in the back of the list.
If you think your bad review will remain on site... think again! Trustpilot unethical business practices, is anything but a review site. It's a crooked company allowing only good reviews to go through to protect their paying customers.
Never trustpilot!
Many companies either vote for themselves or pay people to vote for them on Trustpilot because it's the most popular review website. All the bad reviews are purposely covered up by 5* spam. On the other hand, it's unfeasible to try and clean up all that garbage since there are hundreds of thousands. I'm not blaming them, but that doesn't make the ratings on that website any more trustworthy. It may also be that they realized the website has run its course (no longer serving the purpose it was meant to) and now they're cashing it in while they still can.
Trustpilot remove negative reviews for themselves and subscribing businesses (if you pay Trustpilot for an enhanced account). Twice I had their human staff verify I had the right to leave one company a review, but it was always auto-removed in minutes. Then trustpilot simply ignored me. Trustpilot are frauds. As for leaving a one star review for trustpilot, forget it.
This company is not audited or independent whatsoever.
I left a number of legitimate reviews, removed by Trustpilot for no reason than it being negative.
So sick of companies being held unaccountable, including trustpilot.
Trustpilot posted/curated bad reviews -- and/or facilitated fake bad reviews submitted by my company's competitors -- as part of their strategy to pressure us to pay Trustpilot for services. We get constantly badgered by Trustpilot's pushy salespeople wanting payments to help address the issues they helped create. Feels like extortion.
Bunch of RACISTS. Every $#*!ing review I post they remove.
Hi Khan Choudhury,
As part of our efforts to ensure that all Trustpilot reviews are genuine, we have customized software that detects unusual activity on our platform. In this case, our software has flagged that at least one of your reviews is likely to be spam. We take this very seriously, and have therefore blocked your user account and removed your reviews from our platform.
We have these measures in place to ensure that our community can trust the reviews they read on Trustpilot, however, we understand that sometimes legitimate reviews are removed in this process. If you think there's been a mistake, you're welcome to contact us by replying to this email.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Trustpilot Content Integrity Team
This is their model. Anyone can write a review, customer, competitor, hot head. A page then commences for that business. The business receives an email asking them to subscribe for the low price of a few thousand a year for basic features (on a contract) Those features fast-track moderation and help with collection of good reviews, OR don't pay and find yourself at the whim of a customer who didn't read an email or doesn't understand that banks take their sweet time to process refunds, and whose favorite word is "scam". They then feature the negative reviews at the top, which encourages others to follow suit, whether they've had a genuine experience or not. Meantime, the business has to allocate dedicated staff to deal with customer service issues or random commentators who stumbled over the page, which google considers has authority and pushes to the top.
Conclusion-Trust-pirates are more or less an online extortion racket.
Trust Pilot is meant to be the golden standard in impartial reviews. However when you review a scam company they challenge your review and either take it down or hide way now in the 1 star reviews even if it's just been posted. Do not trust the fake reviews that they allow on their site.
Don't buy on mpb.com or you will loose big money! The customer service wanted to make me pay 95$ to return a 124$ item badly described on their website! I will sell it on eBay with less shipping fees!
Trustpilot have removed loads of my genuine and honest reviews with no reason or explanation. I have also noticed that many shops or organisations which just recently had many poor reviews have suddenly got 5 stars from everybody. How can this be? What a coincidence. Like others have said it all seems like a scam.
Trustpilot.com removed my review before determining IF I had a genuine buying or service experience. I have paypal evidence.
I'm not sure if you can Trust trustpilot reviews at this point. Removing negative reviews and I'm sure, not removing positive reviews of companies.

Dear Michael,
Thanks for reviewing truthfinder.com on Trustpilot.
truthfinder.com has reported your review because they don't believe you've had a genuine buying or service experience. Reported reviews are temporarily moved offline.
We'd like to verify your experience so we can put your review back online. Help us do that by sending documentation showing your buying or service experience with truthfinder.com.
I submitted a review on a firm I ordered from, at their request! When it was accurately portrayed that said firm performed poorly (in line with other reviews) they didn't like it and suggested I'd made it up. They have since removed my review because the only proof i have of said order are the item itself and countless emails which I sent them. Trust is not a word they should be using. Abhorrent behaviour.
I submitted a negative review against Avvo.com, which is notorious for deleting bad lawyer reviews. The same thing happened when Trustpilot censured my negative review against Avvo. Apparently, people who truly have bad experiences with companies are silenced and robbed of their right to free speech. I contacted Trustpilot and only the sales dept answers. In order to dispute a review being removed, you have to email (not talk to a rep) them and ask them to reconsider. They removed my review because of guidelines, which is exactly why Avvo removed my review against the attorney. Trustpilot has 2 rules: business first, consumer last.

Answer: Simple it is their website so they remove reviews that are negative just like how they let complains report negative reviews on their website. Trustpilot is not a good website the company allows companys to report reviews and since the companys pay them many reviews are taken off and removed..
