Booked a room. They charged my card and took my money and the card they used from Traveluro to pay for my room from their company was DECLINED! The hotel would not allow me to check in because company funds are no good! DO NOT USE THIS BROKE, SCAMMING, LYING PIECE of CRAP SERVICE!
Booked on line only to realize they had put November instead of October. Would not change or refund.
I made a mistake in booking the dates. I called immediately to explain. They said they would get back to me in 24 hrs. Never heard back. Called again. Cant get through. Ugg

Joke of a company, rates are not as advertised, claim the rooms are all booked at the hotel even though other rooms are still available, and then cancel the reservation after they've already taken your info and card number. Don't waste your time with this company.
I had an issue which was concerning to me. I asked them to resolve it. They were honest and helpful. They took care of my issue with flying colours. Although I had never heard of Traveluro before I feel they are trustworthy.
Due to Hurricane Ian, we were not able to make our reservations. Even though our hotel was able to reward a full refund to Traveluro, there was no response from the company to negotiate a partial refund for services not rendered. We have used many booking services and this is by far the least responsive.
I asked to move my check in date due to a catagory 3 hurricane, just to the next day, which was cheaper and nothing! The hotel had availability and was willing to approve the change!
I purchase their low advertised rate, paid upfront but when i got to hotel, i was told traveluro never paid them. I got the shaft
They advertised low rated... non refundable, mind you... I purchase the hotel room but when I arrived the hotel told me they have not got paid from traveluro. So I had to pay that days rate which was very high. Now I keep calling but they keep dragging things out with vague answers and later responses. They already took money out of my account but wont pay the hotel... it only take a few minutes to do that but its been 3 weeks now... BE AWARE... STAY AWAY. ITS A SCAM
Let me preface this by saying I am pregnant and have a baby. Traveluro gave me 3 confirmations and when I got to the hotel they said Traveluro called 30 mins before my checkin and said that it was suspected fraud so the hotel cancelled my reservation I already paid for. After spending 1 hour and 20 mins on hold they said they never sent that call to the hotel and proceeded to keep me on hold for another hour. They then said they would email back once the issue was escalated in 30 mins to an hour…. The next day they finally sorted the problem and just refunded me. I got my money back so I can't be too upset, however it wasted 6 hours of my life and I had to quickly find a new hotel.
I have to say, I was a bit concerned after reading many bad reviews. I hot a great deal on a hotel through Treveluro. The service was great and worked exactly as I had hoped.

I tries to cancel a hotel reservation only after 40 minutes if bad music to get an agent who puts me on hold forever... 8 minutes later she tells me she cannot give me a cancellation email or code... blah blah.
Spend the extra money, safe your sanity and save time. This is a SCAM. They depend on you losing patience. I am still on hold with the agent for over 7 minutes after waiting 39 minutes to get a live human. The website says you can cancel with a link on Manage Bookings but it DOES NOT EXIST.
I booked a hotel for me and my friend for one night in London but arrived to find out that the hotel had been closed for 6 months and was going to be closed for another 3 years. They did not 'guarantee' relocation and did not relocate us. Leaving us stranded in the middle of London with nowhere to stay and a flight the next day. We got a refund but were literally left sleeping on the streets. No compensation or concern for our safety/well being.
I booked a room at Fort Pontchartrain in Detroit through Traveluro back on December 22nd 2021 for July 18th 2022 for $143.00. When I arrived at the hotel they had no reservation for me. I ended up having to pay the hotel $321.35 to get a room. So I ended up paying $464.35 for a room that was suppose to be $143.00. I have been going back and forth with them and the hotel trying to get reimbursed for over a month now. Traveluro never paid the hotel so the hotel can't help me. I finally had to file a complaint with my credit card company with the advice of the hotel to get it resolved. The Account Manager at the hotel said they have had other complaints about this company. DO NOT use Traveluro / Splitty.
There are always problems, issues, and so on. Let me tell you all, I have not had an issue at all with them, though yes, the prices are the bare minimum, once you get to finish the reservation, it is a different story. +taxes, plus resort fees, but you get to pay all of those charges everywhere. I am happy. Well, I am traveling on the weekend, so it is not yet over hahahaha, but I called the Vegas Hotel and they confirmed.
I was on the phone 45+ min with them to cancel my booking, which was made WITHIN their deadline. I ultimately needed to escalate the request to a supervisor when the initial rep who answered refused to cancel and issue my refund, continuing to argue with me. Problem was their cancellation policy was contradictory and vague, yet their representative was attempting to enforce it (incorrectly) against me. Unbelievable. I normally do not write reviews but, here, I'll make an exception. This place was so bad that I feel like I need to save others from a terrible experience.
Tried to cancel hotel reservation 4 days in advance due to Covid-19. Emailed customer service with no response so I called and was told that someone would reply to me within 12 to 24 hours and of course that never happened. This is a BAD company and I would stay clear of them!
This was the worst experience, I've ever got with booking hotel. Booked hotel, got a decent rate, but realized it was for wrong date- when I have called them asking to move it- I was told it was non-refundable, even though it was within 5 min. Was told they will call hotel, investigate and possibly reimburse if hotel allowed--- never happened, noone has called hotel. Multiple follow ups.

I booked 3 rooms over$1000 with Ramada through this site. I made a remark on when I'll be arriving
They took the money and when I arrived the hotel was all booked. When I called the site my cancellation went to escalation then told me to wait up to 24hrs for a response.
Answer: They don't honor the insurance they offer through their website they want they won't let you change dates I probably won't do anything for you very piss poor customer service
