THE MOST DISHONEST COMPANY

THE MOST DISHONEST company I have EVER dealt with. I bought a one way business class ticket from them and another one way business ticket from another company and had to cancel both ticket more than one month before my trip due to unforeseen circumstances. The other company penalized me $500 and refunded me within a week. Travel up penalized me over $880 which I agreed but it took several emails to get partial payment of my refund after about 8 weeks. I kept writing to them and they kept saying rest my refund is in process and then stopped responding to my emails. I had to go to my credit card company to get the rest of my refund. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this DISHONEST company.

After sending 12 emails to Harley and Roman. They have ignored me. I have been waiting 2 months for a reply. They made a mistake by sending me an email to say my flight was delayed when it wasn't. Obviously I went to the airport later and missed my flight. Harley promised me a refund and will not put me down as a no show and booked another flight for later that evening to my inconvenience. She also told me to write a positive review for her on here before she sends me the confirmation tickets! Absolutely appalling. I am very upset they did not return my phone calls or emails and stole my money. This will be reported to the authorities. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVEN IF THEY ARE CHEAP - THEY ARE A DISGRACE.

Horrible

Horrible. Booked. Paid deposit and no links work so I can manage my booking or confirm my account. Can't call anyone and no one emails back. I'm contacting a lawyer for fraud and theft.

I have booked ticket ref4D99LP at dated 29/04/2023 at travel up through kayek application. Route was Man to lhe and lhe to man.
Our return flight was at 2240 08-june-2023 from lahore to doha then to manchester. So we suppose to reach airport 2 hrs prior to airport.
Once we reach at airport we surprise to know that the flight time change to 2115.
We never see any email notification from travel up about the flight change.
Once i called them and the guy was badly behave and he told me that we sent you email. I have check the emails even the spam email but i never see any email notifications from them about the flight change notification.
He never make any refurn and never compensate me to alternative flight. And we suffer from traveling and then we buy new ticket and then able to travel. It was summer and we bought the new emergency quite very expenses.
They are spam and non professional team and so far thay did not pay any compensation.
I must ask kayek to blacklist this company.

I made the hotel reservation a few minutes back. Reservation Number is HTT-MRVV4V.

I made the reservation for the dates Check in - March 19 and Check Out - March 20.

However, the reservation confirmation email shows wrong dates as Check in - March 20 and Check out - March 21.

It was the mistake on the Travel Up website that reserved the wrong dates for me.

I am currently working with your team by emailing *******@travelup.com and hoping to get my reservation corrected as soon as possible.

Had a return flight cancelled due to Covid. They said it would be no problem, full refund. I have waited A YEAR for a refund for this flight after being told it would take 6 to 8 weeks. I allowed more time because of covid but come on! Been no contact from them apart from reply to an email TWO MONTHS later to say "keep waiting". When they finally contacted me, they offered me vouchers that I could get "immediately" or if I wanted cash I'd have to wait longer and pay a £50 admin fee! You can bet they'll never get any of my money ever again. Absolutely horrendous. Had to go to credit card company to sort. Will never, ever, use again and will tell everyone how shocking they are. No customer service, just excuses. Never answer phone. When I phoned British Airways they were always so lovely and helpful and answered their phone within reasonable time. They said if I'd booked direct they would have refunded me and they hear this all the time about Travel Up giving people the run around. Avoid at all costs!

Update: regarding TravelUp's response below, total bullocks! The air carrier have informed me directly that I was not marked as "no show" (despite travelups lies). Even TravelUp told me they received a refund and promised to send to my account in 3-5 business days. TravelUp just ignore all this info. Avoid this company at all costs.

It's been 1 1/2 years and I still haven't received my refund despite the air carrier already refunding travelup. Travelup keep telling me that I was marked as a "no-show", despite following all of their guidelines about cancellation. So either they're lying to me, or they failed to deal properly with my cancellation. I can't tell you how many times I've called their office and been rudely dealt with and lied to. Its a circular fraudulent game. Absolutely horrendous experience, and if you value your time or money or sanity, never use this company. NEVER. I suspect the overwhelming majority of the positive reviews are fake. You can tell they've been posting a lot of fake comments on other rating websites too. Guess it must be cheaper to systemically lie than to give people their deserved refunds back. How is this still a company? Absolutely shameful.

PLEASE DONT USE THEM!Worst experience ever, I bough multiple tickets from them for my travel, which one of them we missed due to accident on the road, so I booked another flight for the final holiday destination (Hong Kong) from which we supposed to get to london, however when I try to check in online, the booking couldn't be found, so I contacted Cathay Pacific - which have told me that travel agent cancelled all tickets…. The tickets wasn't connecting, they where multiple tickets…. When I called them, crying asking for solution, they told me is my fault and I need to pay another 500pounds per tickets for completely new tickets, they have awful attitude and they don't care about customers at all. How they can cancel the ticket which has been fully paid? Is my business what I do with the seat, I'm there or not… I can by 20 seats in the airplane and not use them as long as I pay for them…. So basically my whole trip cost 1000 more due to this scammers.

Please note, in the event if passengers do not board the flight, the system automatically cancels the remaining flights and we do not have any control on it. It is not done manually nor Travel Up engage in any wrong doing.

We regret to inform you that the ticket is nonrefundable as stated in the fare rule governed by the airlines. Hence, our only option would be to see if any unused taxes can be claimed.

Bad experience

Do NOT ever book anything with this company. Customer service is non-existent, staff is unprofessional. I booked my flight tickets with them, but they forgot to send it to my e-mail. I had to call and wait over an hour for someone to pick up. The call back service was not working, and when someone finally picked up they were so rude I literally thought I was talking to a scammer (they barely spoke English too). My flight to destination got moved to a different day, and I did not get any notification. I caught it myself on the airline's website, but airline could not assist me in anyway because they said I had to contact TravelUp for any changes. TravelUp will answer your e-mails, but it takes more than 24 hours, so in case of emergency you will be screwed. On the way back to my country I found out that my tickets were not properly rebooked and the airline cannot check me in for the flight. TravelUp did a mistake on their system (not sure how it works together with airline systems), even though they assured me the ticket was valid. I almost lost it right there at the airport. Thank God and airline company staff who were so nice to me and were able to fix the issue themselves. If not for their kindness I would still be stuck on the other side of the globe. Again, please do not use this agency. Spend a little more money and book directly with your preferred airlines.

Awful company, mess up everything then ignore you

Discusted with this company. I paid for airport parking and they put down the wrong arrival time of my return back to the airport, even though the flights were also booked through them! So my car will now not be ready to pick up on my arrival back to the airport. Also they did not even put my car reg plate number into the meet and greet system so the barrier will not lift up on my approach to the meet and greet entrance now, I emailed them to fix their mistake and they completely ignored me.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THIS COMPANY!

They take your money and mess everything up then ignore you completely.
