WE have had a lot of advice on how to get our dog to only pee and poop outdoors, but most of what we have gotten has to do with a slow transition and what we heard tonight is just pick up the pee pad, put him on a leash, and give him notice that all peeing and pooping is outdoors from now on.

I feel like Sally had some solid ideas for working with our dog's fear and she encouraged me to use the remote trainer with our other dog.
