My first purchase here on Tradesy and I am over joyed at the amount of loot I came away with! Deanna is very prompt with her communication, answered all of my questions honestly, and she really went out of her way to package every little item just so! I felt like I was opening Christmas early, receiving many extras that I did not expect.

Below is why I'm no longer able to purchase items from Tradesy. Looks like they did me a favor. If this is how they treat their costumers then they don't need my business. The seller misrepresents their product, I disputed and won. Thanks American Express for your support!
Buyers, make sure you take lots of pics. And notify your credit card company right away! Also notify Tradesy as soon as possible and send their items back to them asap. If not Tradesy will try and keep your money giving you site credit. Tradesy gets upset when your credit card company fights for your rights. (SEE BELOW)

You would not believe the rag I received that Tradesy swears is authentic Gucci. The photo looked good and I relied upon the authentic promise. What a farce! Kathy B. Assures me it is real yet the quality is not as good as Walmart pajamas. Stitches every which way, seams don't match up, extra fabric sticking out of the seams. She sent me numerous emails explaining the great lengths her Team goes through to authenticate the item. I literally laughed out loud. The thing is this seller is actually Tradesy for their own account under the name Strawberry Fields. This is 100% "fraud". Tradesy is directly selling counterfeit goods.
I purchased a nice coach handbag. Normally, I go to the store, but I attempted an on-line purchase. I have had Coach bags for years with quality that have looked as good as when I bought them. It had this bag for 6 months and the leather on the handles began shredding. It's clearly not good material or workmanship and hence a fake. I send 30 photos going back and forth with them for a month and they refused to provide a refund. If you want quality, go to the actual maker and not Tradesy! They should be pulled off the market for claiming an authenticity and not honoring guarantees.

The headline says it all. It's not worth it most of the time. Plus their search engines are so jammed up w improperly organized products so if you search for dresses you end up wading through sunglasses, ugly Kmart blouses in too small sizes, and hopelessly destroyed Louis Vuittons for still close to a grand instead of only dresses. My fingers hurt every time I shop here. Not worth the pain especially with price gouging.
They always back with the buyers even your items are authentic. Tradesy, You are making HIGH commission for us sellers, without us making sales, u are making Nothing! If u keep siding with buyers unreasonably, sooner or later no one will sell on your site!
You are charging selling fees AND withdrawing fee as well. The withdrawal credit was actually showing as a "return" credit, meaning Tradesy saves that withdrawl fee themselves, there ain't no withdrawl fee collecting from the bank, just their own profit!
Tradesy will be going out of business if more seller boycott this company.

The biggest drawback to the experience is the low quality and sometimes deceiving pictures sellers provide and being unable to discern the actual condition of the product. Then you are stuck with an item which the seller has repeatedly said is in excellent condition and it's actually damaged/worn out. Then you have to go through the return process and it can all be pretty inconvenient.
People don't respond on time or at all and it's very frustrating. My debit card kept getting declined even though the site allows both debit and credit. I ended up using a credit card even though I didn't want to use it.
I am very disappointed that Tradesy would allow counterfeits (not authentic) products to be sold on your site as authentic. I wish Tradesy would authenticate before the customer receives the product.
It is such a terrible feeling of "violation" when one spends over $2k on a product and find out you were cheated. I understand Tradesy will refund once its has been confirmed as counterfeit, but it is a hassle/inconvenience to ship back and go through this process to get refunded. Depending on how Tradesy resolves my issue, I may never shop nor recommend Tradesy to friends/family.

New listings are meticulously examined and authenticated through Tradesy’s proprietary authentication technology as well as reviewed by a team of expert authenticators. Do know that listings that don’t pass our rigorous authentication process are permanently removed from Tradesy.
Regardless, I can certainly understand your reason for concern, especially if the item is of high value. Do know that we have a zero-tolerance policy with inauthentic items to help keep our buyers protected, but I'll be sure to share your feedback with our management team here. Perhaps we can look into getting all listed items pre-authenticated in the near future.

The worst experience as a professional seller I've ever had. Allowed buyer to return damaged shoes claiming I shipped them that way- a lie. Holds funds up to 21 days claiming it's in the system and they can't do anything. Then the excuse they've released them and blame my bank. I sold 25,000 on this site prior to their changes with no problems but now it's a total nightmare snd you can't trust them.
Tradesy is one of the best sites I have found to shop on. It has great choices of quality items at great prices. They also have discount sales off and on. This site is very professionally run & I feel confident purchasing high end items from the ones involved with Tradesy The pictures & descriptive information is very helpful in letting you know everything about the items available. I also like that you can (Save) pictures of favorite items to view later. It's the most amazing site & I feel confident in referring Tradesy to anyone who loves shopping on line & who loves quality items at great prices.
It was easy to find what I was looking for and I got the item at a great price. The only thing I wished was different was that the shoes would've come in their original box. They were repackaged in a cheesy shoe box. Otherwise I'm very happy with my first tradesy purchase.

My item took 7 days to ship not due to the sellers fault but due to Tradesy's own issue sending the shipping package. Once shipped, I received my item quickly. However they were in much worse condition than was shown in the listing photos. Not sure I will be shopping on Tradesy again.

The item didn't ship until 16 days after I purchased it and then I found out it was coming from europe so it took even longer to get here. The packing of the item was secure but it was stuffed into a tiny box with no plastic wrapping around. Overall the item was fine just didn't feel very professional and I had no idea when to expect my purchase.

I sold a pair of like new shoes. My money was kept for three weeks then I received an email stating that the item was being returned to me because it was used. Impossible since I never wore the shoes, just kept them in my closet. The buyer probably wore them then decided to return them. I lost $20 in shipping. Will never sell anything expensive there. Lesson learned.
Do not waste your time, energy or money on this site. They have some very shady practices. If you are a seller they hold your funds for 21 days now and try to say it's to protect you and the buyer. Umm explain to me how someone having my item for 21 days and me not having my money for it helping me. Their percentage that they take out is not worth it. Their shipping is a rip off. They charge $10.50 for a $6.95 shipping label or $20.00 for some crappy $#*! $0.50 tissue paper(if you receive it) and some bag that you can get for free or cheaper at the post office. Take your business elsewhere.
I have ordered a pair of the shoe over a month. The tracking was provided not updated over 2 weeks! I ask for refund and help! They told me to wait another 48 hours! I wait 72 hours still not arrive so I request the refund it! They just give me a toll-free number to check but never have an answer! This is the worst CS! Don't trust this site, seller and staff!
Absolutely distrustful and awful company. I sold two pairs of shoes and a handbag- non of which were luxury items. They told me it would be 21 days before they would release my money. I then asked to have it transferred and it never happened. It's been a month- I filed two complaints non of which were handled appropriately. I am now out $120. Horrible! I only use Poshmark.
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
