I ordered on Jan 9 and got my item on Feb 9. There was a significant delay because the seller didn't receive the shipping kit. I think it would be easier if sellers could print a shipping label and take care of it themselves, as I'm not even sure what the kit is. My item arrived in a bag wrapped in tissue paper and a rubber band.
I was looking for a special unique gift for my dearest friend of 57 years. She is an accomplished pianist and will love this broach. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of jewelry. I'm so glad I found it at Tradesy.
I've had nothing but positive experiences buying and selling on Tradesey. I have been on the website for a year now, and transactions have been easy with zero disappointment. If you decide to buy or sell- I highly advise to read the buyers or sellers agreement policy before proceeding. A big part of not being disappointed with using the website is knowing what to expect when you're buying or selling.
After reading some of the ratings I want to clarify something; Tradesey doesn't sell fake designer retail items. Tradesy just provides the space online; for sellers and buyers. It's against their policy to sell fake designer items. But like with anything else, sellers are going to try.
Working with this seller was a breeze. They communicated with me that they received my order, when they shipped it, and the approximate delivery date. The item was packed well and arrived in perfect condition. I would shop their closet again.
As a college student, I have been able to afford brand name for a lesser price. Always my go to for high end. Customer support has always been helpful. Negative reviews are biased and based on the seller NOT the company.
Horrible greedy company. They give the buyer 4 days to return but hold your money for 3 weeks then they take a week to transfer it to PayPal Or your bank. Customer service cares nothing about you. Theyre a disgrace. Run! Sell elsewhere and dont buy here either because theyre unethical to their sellers.
The handbag was listed as 'Like New This item may have been worn but has no visible signs of wear.' But when I got the product it was far from that. While the exterior looked beautiful, the stitching of the handles was quite bad on the bag. One handle was so bad I was worried about even picking it up with nothing in it, fearful that it would detach.
Ive read several reviews and it seems to have a common theme.
1. Im not certain that all these people are actually real
2. And if they are real, its interesting how most positive reviews come from buyers. Its also interesting their reviews are based on three or four purchases; however, Ive now sold hundreds of items and I can tell you that in the aggregate they dont have such a great business model. With the way they treat Sellers, Tradesys business model is unsustainable - sellers will not be provide items knowing how terrible the customer service is towards them.

Once again I am writing as a disgruntled seller - with increasingly notable incidents of frustration. Im so offended and disgusted by the number of wrong-doings, that I have been pushed to complain and report Tradesy publicly to the media and investors. Not only is the customer service horrendous and basically invisible, they also have little to low communication competency (for a company that has raised millions). Today, Ive lost a deal due to the lack of seller awareness, poor communications, etc.
Im not sure if youre in the business to make money or anger your audience, but there is a common issue with revolving communication/customer service and decorum.
While attempting to liaise a relationship between myself and an international buyer, an inept customer service representative(s) failed to return my many attempts of contact re: request for additional pictures needed. In fact, today alone Ive waited 20 min plus to speak with someone and have never received call backs for my place in line. My buyer is no longer interested in my bag because Tradesy indicated that they could not prove authenticity; thus, implying that my bag is unauthentic.
Several issues here... Tradesy is defaming my brand because of thier negligence and poor wording. They provide little to no opportunity to provide what was requested of me - Why would a representative not contact me proactively and or reactively? Furthermore, your commission rates have substantially increased and the service has DECREASED consistently. There is no exposure to management, and Tradesy has become an advocate of the buyer, neglecting that the seller is a big part of their business. With all this being said, the tremendous increase in commissions portray Tradsey as thieves and unempathetic.
Do not buy anything on that terrible web platform.
90% of what I bought was fake! I spent 1000s of dollars of fake shoes and have never had even a chance to return it. Total waste of money. They do not care if seller is genuine.

On of my $600 shoes was so fake, so they loose the red sole in one hour! Its FAKE!

Unlike other resell sites, you have to wait days upon days to receive your money from Tradesy once the buyer has received your item. Then, you wait weeks to get your money into your bank account if you decide to transfer it from your Tradesy account. THIS is where they are making the bulk of their money... holding onto your hard earned cash for extended periods of time well outside of guidelines. I'll stick with Poshmark, EBay and Mercari, thanks.
My 1st purchase I pray I loooks like the description just 1 thing no receipt or email saying it's truly authentic. But I will call my sales guy at Gucci in tysons to confirm authentic. Plus on the front you can see a little scratch.

Bought a Dior bag and came in not as described, I believe it was because the seller cleaned it before hand and she had no idea it came in the state I got it in but whatever cleaner she used ended up actually dirtying the bag even more but I managed to clean it up with some wipes and it looks way better. The seller was kind enough to refund my money and let me keep the bag. Seller I bought from was extremely nice though and would recommend! Look for "Clinton Rooker"
I actually had a great experience, it definitely depends which store/closet you buy from. I got a gorgeous Louis *******@dmonti closet with very nice detailed images, descriptions and immediate service.
Just my experience... you may want to check yourself, I don't know about other people. But definitely going back
If I could give them a zero star, I would. This website is terrible! They take 21-30 days to pay you, anyrhing you sell they return (based off buyers judgment even if they lie), they never investigate issues, and they will remove items from your closet without any notice! You will do all the work to put up a listing, then wa la its gone! No notice, no notification, nothing! Highly disappointing site to use! Stay far far far away!
I ordered extra large rayban aviator sunglasses for myself to enjoy. I kept receiving messages from the seller telling me that they were going to have to cancel my purchase and give me a refund. They never mailed the sunglasses until June 1,2021. When I received the sunglasses they are not at all XL aviator rayban sunglasses. I'm so disappointed. I want a full refund. And a shipping label to mail back these fake sunglasses. Thank you

I bought a LV handbag. No issues with authenticity but the hobo bag was for a child which was never mentioned in their description. Filed misrepresentation and they gave me store credit. The issue is the bag is for child like 6 years old or less. I would look very silly using it. I did not see the dimentions. Needless to say that poor customer service will prevent me from going back to their site.
If I could give 0 rating I would! Received an item that doesn't look like anything on the picture and they refused to give my money back to the credit card. I have appealed the case and they still refused to give mu money back. Talked to the manager and all she could say is "I'm sorry" No, you're not sorry! You only scam people, their hard earned money. That is how you make money. Never ever trust this website. Worst customer service. Rude!
I've been dealing for Tradesy for a few years and have no complaints. I've been very happy with every purchase. I did return one item because it was just too small for my taste. My account was credited, no problems

Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600

Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
