I am regretting I didn't read these reviews before... It happened to me as well... Such a joke they are! I sent my resume and after nearly one week I didn't hear from them. So I wrote again to complain. I get an answer from someone replying me that my resume was waiting to be approved... The day after I had an email from Joe, another "writer", telling me my previous writer was not available anymore and that he was taking care of me. After a few days I had, a resume which is roughly the same as mine... They just played with a few words and sentences, cut the most important tasks for my job. In other words, a lower professional profile... And they have replied below in the same way they do for resumes, past and copy! Why should I use Facebook? So UNPROFESSIONAL! Please, don't use their services and check all the complains below! Don't trust the good ones!
Overall I had two writers and both were the same. I even paid more for the top writers and they were not good. They just list a bunch of words in the resume for a computer to find but don't put any thought into the words. The look up what industry you are in and just throw the words on a page. I would not recommend them but instead an individual that will listen to what you are saying and how you want your resume to look. I had spelling and punctuation errors on mine even on the third draft. The LinkedIn profile was pretty good which is why I have two stars instead of one.
The experience was incredibly seamless. However, for the price tag, I would have expected a little bit more guidance on where this would place me in my job application process (i. E. should I include past work experience, etc.). My writer was amazing and incredibly quick, but so far I haven't received any offers for an interview. I was also really confused as to why he listed my Masters's program as work experience, so I'm hoping this doesn't hinder my chances. I'm optimistic, but we'll see. I'm giving it 4 stars because of how well regarded their services are and how quick and friendly the process was. I think the proof is in the pudding and we'll just have to wait and see on it.
Very professional and easy to get into contact with. When you're assigned a writer he or she go's above and beyond to make sure your resume/cover letter/LinkedIn profile and anything else you needed done is to your perfection. They're awesome.

This company did work with me via e-mail to re-write the resume that I felt was already pretty good. However, they showed me that it could be written in a better format that better described my career history instead of my repeating line items. They also did a rewrite of my Linked In profile to allow me to be "found" under more searches. After just 2 weeks I have seen an increase in my resume reviews and have started getting interview calls.
I used TopResume to update my long outdated resume. They were quick, easy and relatively inexpensive. In fact, it was well worth the money I spent. I've already shared the new resume with several hiring managers that I trust and they said it was much improved. Just be aware that you have to be ready and willing to assist your assigned writer. They can't read your mind and they don't know what you've accomplished so you must help them to help you.
I freely admit that my resume did not have any type of WOW factor. I took the opportunity to have Danielle rewrite my resume based on my past work history and achievements. Danielle provided a quick turnaround and was very professional. After receiving my new resume, I immediately posted it to various company and employment websites. After I received my resume from TopResume, I was hired within 3 days at a great company with excellent pay and benefits. Most of the people I graduated college with are still looking or working at Wal-mart. Need I say more.
The process worked very well however not happy with the end result. Have not gotten any hits since leveraging the newly designed resume. Found lots of misspelled words during the process. Also don't feel that all my ideas were captured.
The company is a fraud. They charged more than they showed. As soon as I realized, within the first order ( in 40 min), I sent an email to cancel. It took them 24 hours to reply and they replied back with an irrelevant response saying nothing. Now its the second day and I am still waiting for a response, I literally wrote every contact email I could, they are now telling me my order is on its way. I cant reach anyone, and basically the whole customer service is dead and they act like the company does not even exist. I wrote very clear emails to cancel my service before they attach anything, they just ignore and proceed. I have never experienced something that bad. The whole reason I trusted them is because glassdoor referenced them on their website. I wrote to glassdoor to find a contact to be visible, still no answer... They just take your money and go. I cant find anyone to respond me.!

Top Resume improves your resume when you need it. I definitely needed it in spite of quite an experience writing mine. The service was clear and the deliverable on time. The first draft was a radical change and improvement. The writer also asked for some specifics to further strengthen. Then we went thru an iteration to refine it. The writer was responsive and soon the final version was on hand. The cover letter was generic and provided the basis for customization according to the particular job ad one answers. The LinkedIn review was simple and basically amounted to an explanation if the different fields. A rating of 5 would have been gained of Top Resume was doing more pointed recommendations for me to improve it. Overall great service and I would recommend it.
Just had my resume revamped by TopResume and am excited to see what the response from recruiters will be. My particular writer was easy to work with and knowledgeable about my field.
A couple of months later, the resume did not help me at all and a few recruiters actually criticized the creative format. $100 seemingly down the drain...
The writer did not care anything about my experience. Very poorly written resume. She changed the format and put some silly catch phrases without any concrete experience.
I still use my own format and it works like a charm.

Don't waste your money!
