I'm back in the job market now after having been out of it since 1997, so I had NO clue how to present my skill sets, knowledge, experience and strengths in terms that would speak to a recruiter in 2017. I bought the career evolution package, received an email that the writer is busy and if I would like to have another writes assigned. Few days later received another email with the date on when to expect the first draft. On the promised date of the draft I received and email from the writer that he is working on the resume and will have the first draft in few days, after I responded that the draft should be delivered today and not in few days. His response was that he is backed up and will do his best.
A day later received the draft that had missing information and mistakes, replied back and brought the missing information and mistakes, 24 hours later received and email thanking me for the "updates" and will get an updated copy in few business days. Worst service ever...
I hired this company to update my resume because of my hectic work schedule. Worst decision I made. I only needed to update my current work experience and change some verbiage on my existing resume. I received a huge mess. I went from a two page resume to a 4 page resume. The grammar used "new verbiage" was atrocious ( I feel like some one from India being paid $5.00 a resume wrote my resume). My new format was soooo gaudy and outrageous (I hire and review resumes, I would have thrown my own resume out on formatting alone). It was difficult to get a revision, and I spent more time trying to get revisions, it was easier for me to just rewrite and reformat my resume myself. I did not appreciate or enjoy this experience what-so-ever.

Ill be the first to tell you, ill be the best man for the job your looking to hire for, but I'm not the best at describing what i can do and bring to the table on paper. Over the phone and in person yes, but not on paper. I brought my issue with this to TOPRESUME, and within a couple days, i was contacted, and started to work with a very helpful and attentive person named Jennifer. She took my experience and turned it into a work of art with words on paper. I would absolutely recommend this company to help you with your resume. Just remember, the more specific and in depth you are with explaining what you want, the more they can help you.

Purchased the premium pack with a resume, cover letter and linkedin update on Dec 19,2020. Received a cover letter and resume that were clearly copy/pasted as they didn't make sense in the English language and I had to edit them myself. Was told I would receive a linkedin update by Dec 29th and have yet to hear back from the company. In perspective, I paid less to order a custom bobblehead and have received 8 emails in 4 days about the specifics of my doll. Don't use this service, go with the bobblehead.

I decided to hire Top Resume after receiving a lot of rejection emails to jobs I applied for. I realized I needed to get more interviews and maybe it was my resume that wasn't standing out. I've been in management for over 10 years and recently got my degree in something else. I am hopeful that I will get more call backs now that I have a resume that captures all my merits and accomplishments.
I didn't get a single interview in the 60 day period. When I contacted them, they told me that I should have been applying to more jobs and that I should treat applying for a job "like a full-time job." That is hard to do when I work, go to school and have a family. They claimed that it was my fault for choosing the jobs I did because I "fall short as a candidate." Every job I applied for, I at the very least met the minimum qualifications. Super disappointed with their customer service. It wasn't worth the money.
The initial experience wasn't going well. I felt I spent more time correcting revisions. I was able to get connected with a new writer and it worked out beautifully. The writer was able to capture and express my experience and voice better than I expected. Very happy with the end product. Customer service was great. They listened to my initial concern and quickly took action to ensure my satisfaction.

Answer: It depends, if you want to pay for a mediocre format riddled with errors that has the language equivalent of a high-schooler. You will end up paying $100 for something you could have sat down and done in an hour and a half.

Answer: Be careful with this company. They post 1000s of fake reviews to hide the real ones. Note that they do not post their phone number or address on the website. I had to file with the BBB to get a refund after never being contacted. This is a SCAM company - you are better off writing your own resume, trust me on this

I've been assigned 3 different writers and have received a subpar product back each time, written by someone who's first language is clearly not English. The best part, I paid $100+ for a "LinkedIn Rewrite" and this was where the writer copied and pasted their version of my resume into the boxes for LinkedIn. You've got to be kidding me... Don't waste your money!

Answer: Don't waste your money. All of these "reviews" are probably fake. I actually paid them $189 and never even got a usable resume. Find a better company. These guys are crooks!
