I used Hoppa Taxis from the Airport to Berlin city last April. I booked via TOP CASH BACK with the promise of £8.70 back from my return fare of over £40. I am still waiting for it and after countless emails to TCB all they do is make excuses. Over a year has passed and looking on the site I have another TWO MONTHS to wait before the cash is released. 14 MONTHS to get a paltry amount back. If I ever go back to Berlin I will not use Hoppa or TOP CASH BACK as it looks like I`ll be getting Top Bus Back in future or the Top Train Back and forth. What a joke AVOID THEM PLEASE or they will drive you up to the Top of the Wall and Back.
Don't take a chance on using top cash back, you will not get paid out. They come up with every excuse every time as to why you weren't paid. Start with oh you didn't click through our website, um yes I did here's the proof. Oh you used a promo code, no I didn't use a promo code, oh then you didn't clear your cookies, yes I cleared my cookies here's the proof, oh then you used a different account, um no again here's the proof, oh let me check further for you... as time and time - months and months go by... let me nudge this shat more... more time goes by, oh let me contact the retailer... unfortunately the retailer didn't approve the transaction. Sorry. LOL... this will happen. So I contacted the retailer... the retailer didn't know who top cash back was but they knew Ebates. They looked into top cash back and told me they would not recommend them. When you try to use top cash back u can't use another cash back site and you lose out on that cash back for that purchase. You also can't believe the positive reviews from trustpilot because businesses pay for people to review to improve their SEO search engine. It's on their website. This is the biggest joke and scam.
90% of the cashback WILL credit. But when it doesn't? Unlike their competitors, they will refuse to credit you entirely. Only use this if they're offering at least 2x the cashback, as it is a gamble.

I can assure you that we are not a scam. We never put a 'promise' on cashback and the cashback would have been declined by the retailer and not ourselves. This would have been explained to you whilst in contact with our team whether this was on a support ticket or missing cashback claim. Whilst we understand that these decisions can be frustrating, it does not mean we are a scam but rather that not all terms and conditions were met.

Bs offers I bought and told my friends about a deal with lowes where you get $15 back for any purchase over $15. NOT one of us got the promised topcashback! COMPLETE SHAM!

Fastest way to earn extra cash! I've earned 529.00 just for shopping through Top cash back! So easy!
I always go to Top Cashback after I picked out my shopping order. When I'm ready to make my purchase then I go thru Top Cashback. I have made hundreds of dollars since I joined in 2015.
Topcashback added the ability to purchases discounted gift cards and it has been awesome. I've bought around 20 cards and not had one issue.
They blatantly rip you off. Purchases are never recorded. Terrible people to deal with. Everyone should run for the hills when you see top cash back.

It's ridiculous that after 12 weeks, my Travelocity transactions are still marked Pending. There is no earthly reason they should not be payable after THREE MONTHS.

I'm sorry haven't appeared to have checked Travelocity's terms for cashback before posting your review. As mentioned beneath their cashback offer: "Cash Back is only paid out when the booking is completed, cash back may initially track at $0.00." We would expect the cashback to uplift to the full amount once Travelocity validate your transaction, which wouldn't begin until you have completed the stay. So there's certainly no scams at play whatsoever. For future transactions we'd highly recommend to check the retailer's terms and conditions for these details.

Answer: I'm a glutton for punishment. So, my view of a success story may differ from your tastes. I bought some liquor at Total Wine & More, going through TopCashBack, in early March. 6 months later, after multiple back and forths, see this absolute disgrace of an answer TCB gave to get out of paying me: Sep 03 2023 Hi there, Unfortunately in this case the retailer has awarded the commission (cashback) for your sale to another affiliate. These other affiliates can include rival cashback portals, comparison sites or even a simple click on a Google ad. This has resulted in the tracking cookie not linking back to TopCashback. We are not denying that you clicked-through to make the purchase from your TopCashback account, but certain aspects can have a negative effect on your transaction tracking and TopCashback not being recognized as the 'last referrer' of the sale. Reasons for a retailer making this decision can include: -If your computer cookies were not cleared before making a transaction -Another website, cashback portal, pop-up advertisement, search engine or comparison site may have linked to your transaction -Coupon codes which are not advertised by TopCashback. -Using ad-blockers on your browser These are only suggestions, however, as the retailer does not advise us which of these is applicable in your particular case. We aren't coming up with excuses but rather providing you with tips and suggestions as to why this could be the case when it comes to cashback being declined. We don't receive specific reasons from the retailer but we do our best to point out why it could have happened to it can help prevent issues in the future.
Whilst I understand it's still frustrating not to receive your cashback, we can only pass on the amounts that we receive from the retailer and if they decline a cashback amount, we can only repeat what we've been told. Also, nudged help us to organise what takes priority on delayed claims that need resolving, they do not mean a response will be given and we do mention this on our site. If you would like an update then please post a message to the claim instead and we will respond within 24 hours.
