I bought a pair of shoes from their Wakefield branch for work at the cost of £18. Just over a month after purchase it rained and both my feet got soaked. I took them back and was told they would be sent away for testing and in two weeks they would get in touch.
After nearly three weeks having heard nothing I rang them on my day off, a Monday.
"Yes they came back last Wednesday and there`s nothing wrong with them."
Me "Well how come they let water in when it rains?"
"Well not all shoes can withstand heavy rain."
Me "Right then I shall be in your store soon."
I was given the shoes with aletter telling me to consult an independant examiner and/or trading standards and they will respect their decision.
Who`s paying an independant advisor? Trading standards told me after thirt days you are not entitled to a refund.
Clearly the profit margin on a pair of shoes worth less than twenty quid is more important to Wynsors Shoes than losing me as a customer for over twenty years, my family, my friends and everyone I know within a twenty mile radius of their stores in both Wakefield and Leeds. I hope they put that £3 to good use because they have lost a hell of a lot of custom now through their greed.

I ordered a bed at £699 from Bensons and was told they would call back inside two hours. No call. It took me a day to get in touch with them and guess what? It woulld take 25 days to deliver. What? Nearly a month. Money back please. I emailed a cancel order as well as saying this over the phone. A week passed, no money. I phoned. We have not got your email or cancel order notification. I typed one up there and then, yes we have it now. Ok when do I get my money back? It takes a week to process then up to five days to pay it back.
I know this is a German/South African company, but we are talking from an order placed on 30/5 and no chance of a refund until at least 19/6. Not exactly German effiency is it? More like Shanty Town traders.
I bough the same bed delivery within five days £100 cheaper from Floors and Snores in Garforth, Leeds so it just goes to show does it not?
Bensons wanted £15 to unpack it and put it together and they do not take old beds away.
F and S free delivery, free assembly £10 to take old away unless you want to pay £20 to the council... You would be better off with Benson and Hedges at least you know where you are with lung cancer, unlike Bensons Beds, who I suggest should go back to South Africa.

I paid £150 to have a damp and timber survey carried out on a property I was buying and paid over the phone by card. After the survey they sent a report and a quote for over £3,000 for around nine metres of external wall injecting and four metres of internal treatment and replastering.
A couple of weeks later a reminder came through the door for the £150 that I`d already paid. Then a final demand. Then a threat of legal action if I don`t pay. What a shoddy two bit company this is as it took over four phone calls to get them off my back and as I refused to use them they have kept the £150. Avoid them at all costs.

I used Hoppa Taxis from the Airport to Berlin city last April. I booked via TOP CASH BACK with the promise of £8.70 back from my return fare of over £40. I am still waiting for it and after countless emails to TCB all they do is make excuses. Over a year has passed and looking on the site I have another TWO MONTHS to wait before the cash is released. 14 MONTHS to get a paltry amount back. If I ever go back to Berlin I will not use Hoppa or TOP CASH BACK as it looks like I`ll be getting Top Bus Back in future or the Top Train Back and forth. What a joke AVOID THEM PLEASE or they will drive you up to the Top of the Wall and Back.

Tip for consumers: Use the train instead. It must be cheaper.

I took out home insurance with Policy Expert via confused.com and was looking forward to my free Brian the robot toy. It never came as a delay was issued saying it may take months.
In the meantime, damage was caused to my terrace house from next doors gutter leaking into my bedroom then down the wall of the front room. I submitted a claim as this is what you do to get the house you insured repaired.
Not as easy as you may think as there was slight damp already there and in the end I was passed on to Policy Experts Solicitors.
Months of submitting photos and emails passed by. At least four before they turned round and said, "The damage is under £15,000 go away, you can`t claim a penny."
I then got on the phone only to be told, "The damage covered regards water is only for storm related repair."
How can I prove the cause of next doors damage? I asked her my 84 year old neighbour for details of her insurers only to be faced with, "Oh it`s my legs, they are killing me."
So this has caused a rift between her family and me. I have well over £5,000 to find for replastering, new carpet and redecorating and POLICY EXPERT are not interested.
confused.com? Well, they to don`t give a damn. No Brian is ever gonna be sent so I can save on gun and ammo to blow his plastic head off. The case has been closed by confused.com as they are not interested anymore, well would you be as you`ve got your cut from little old Steve the policy mug.
So beware of online insurance middle men, because if it`s cheap it will be nasty as well. I think this proves my point.

Ok its a while back but I`ve been there 4 times and this site has been spot on with the hotel reviews. Every year I add my comments to the site on a regular basis and have had over 25,000 people read my write ups!

Found a great hotel and got the flights with them from Manchester. All went well, hotel Kajatanokka was amazing and at a very reasonable price bearing in mind Finland is a very expensive country to live in. Plus the hotel is a former prison so that adds to the fun! Also booked a trip to Tallinn, Estonia that ran on time and was well worth the visit. Do go you will love it!

We all know they don`t sell garbage on here! Not once have I had any serious issues with them in the 8 years or so I have bought goods from them.

Two Apples down the line and after over 4 years great service my 4 slowed to snail pace so I upped the stakes to a new 5S. Not quite the same as there are a few things I don`t care for, but you have to move with the times I guess

28 June I placed an order for toilet and kitchen rolls and submitted the voucher as per instructions. I was told the order would be sent out on 30 July or just after. It never came so I contacted them. They said I could not have my money back as the 14 day cooling off period had lapsed and if I wanted my goods I now had to pay an extra £5.99 as I had not placed the order. Would that be the order I`d paid £19.99 for and been given a delivery date I asked? Countless emails exchanged hands and almost all by different people. I then took it to PayPal and filed a dispute. BINGO! It has finally worked. I know it is not a vast sum, but please follow my steps and good old PayPal will save the day. Go Groopie? Never again avoid them.
