I had Sprint and ever since they merged with T Mobile I've had nothing but problems. I often have no service and can only make emergency calls and they took away my Amazon Prime and are now taking away Tidal but my bill isn't lower because of these cuts. All they care about is money, their customers don't matter. I am switching carriers next month when my contract us up.

Me and my wife got a phone Got phones from t mobile first two weeks for Great after that, the service I could not even use. Hardly we've already had Phones replaced and I will never ever recommend t mobile again to anybody If I had to give it a star, there is no star option. I have medical conditions and I rely on a full service to give me a good phone just because they're free.

Sporadic quality
Can't hang up the phone call, locks up.
Fantastic features and claims. However, it does not deliver. Going back to my old service provider.

I had a very rough time transferring service from Xfinity to T-Mobile, a T-Mobile sales person gave wrong information which cost me 3 days without a phone and tons of frustration. But on getting everything worked out and getting a hold of Mary in Rebate Care she was able to be a great breath of fresh air to this tebacle. Thank you very much Mary and hope to hear from you when rebate is active

Horrible company
May 18, 2023

Have the first responder plan. Was never told to re-verify our first responder status and they immediately took us off the plan and charged us $60. We immediately verified our first responder status and they still refused to credit our account. Obviously we were and still are a first responder. Horrible customer service.

I have no complaints other than with their security. I received a post card in the mail from a class action administrator (Kroll) notifying me that T-Mobile had handed over my details in connection with the data breach.

I contacted T-Mobile and they say my data was not part of the breach. So if that was the case, then they should not have passed my into to the law firm and the class settlement administrator to start with.

I fail to see how sharing my information is supposed to help in this situation. I have nothing to gain from the lawsuit. Even if my data was part of the data-breach, I would only be due a very small sum, so what is the point?

I may be one of the lucky ones... I got tmobile internet after spectrum was costing me $80/mo. Supposedly for 150mbps down. Fed up, I got Tmobile and tried it out for a week or 2. I ran a speed test on Spectrum and got 28down/11up, tmobile was 154 and 22 from my phone and was like 175/28 from my desktop. After testing it out with streaming, its been great. No drops or buffering. Ended up cancelling spectrum, finally! $80 to $50.

Only issue I got, small one. Was my spectrum modem and router was in my basement office. I put this down in the basement on the window sill and got 3/5 bars. Ended up placing it near my front window and got 4/5-5/5 bars. I'm also lazy and didn't want to switch all my wireless devices over to the 5G modem, so I ran a cat 5 cable from my router in the basement to this and it runs fine. Didn't have to do anything.

So far so good. But I must be one of the few that it worked out for. I have a couple towers near my house, so that's prob why. I dont know. Just happy to rid spectrum after 10-15yrs.

TMobile sucks
April 5, 2023

At 1st TMobile was pretty good but now their internet service SUCKS, when I call them all I get is excuses, lies, and service cutting in and out!
They're doing a crappy job helping/providing for their customers, and as soon as I find another internet provider I'm going to tell TMobile what they can do with their service

Sprint in 2022 and Tmobile offered "FREE UPGRADES", just sign up, receive phones and send back the old phone [qualifying as mine did] to Tmobile. So july 22, did this and sprint/tmobile got my trade in phones. All went well, and The monthly bill had $75 to pay for phone, THEN $75 credit back to make it free, on this deal for 24 months. As soon as the Sprint Tmobile merger went through, TMOBILE STOPPED THE $75 CREDIT BACK, BUT KEPT THE $75 MONTHLY BILL FOR THE PHONES. SO A FREE PAIR OF PHONES, TURNED INTO A $1,500 BILL TO BE PAID MONTHLY FOR 24 MONTHS. Many calls to customer service to get it right. Promises of working on it, would make it correct, and I would be sure to get my credits on the bills. Finally, 8 months later, they say that the returned phones were not in the condition that their program required... So they denied the deal, told me i sill owed the $1,500 in payments, AND they kept my phones turned in ie kept a Perfectly Good Galaxy s20, and a good Apple I7. I add i am 78 years of age, and consider this a kind of cheating/abuse in my case. I have requested tmobile to [1] unlock my phones and let my phone numbers go, [2] send back my old phones or equal ones [3] reimburse me for $700 in payments extracted from me as "extras" to "buy" the phones. This is not an accident with Tmobile, it has to be part of a regular program activity to [1] get and resell your almost new phones [2] deny credits for the $1,500 upgrade phones, and [3] Turn a $1,500 liability/obligation, INTO a $1,500 cash for them PLUS what they got for selling my perfectly good, almost new, trade in phones. BEWARE, GO WITH ANOTHER REPUTABLE CARRIER THAT OFFER THE SAME DEALS. EVEN TODAY TMOBILE HAS THIS OFFER STILL ON THEIR WEB. IT IS, CROOKED AND DISHONEST. IT DOES NOT MEET THE CLAIMS OF ETHICS AND INTEGRITY THEY CLAIM ON THE WEB.

T Mobile scammed me!
March 27, 2023

I was a Verizon customer but wanted new 14pro phones, Verizon would not provide me with new phones so I went to T-Mobile. They told me with trade in of my three phones I would get three new iPhone 14 pro phones free and my monthly charge of $89 would be the same. The first two months the bill was $87. The third bill was $216 and stayed at that. Ended up they didn't give me the free phones and were charging me for the phones and my trade in phones were worth nothing. I am 76 years old and am providing phones for me, my wife and my daughter. I don't know how to get out of this? If anyone knows please let me know. I only live on Social Security and can't pay this?

Rebate Scam
November 4, 2022

I was lured into switching to Tmobile at the local store on Spring Street in Long Beach by promising me (1) payoff of existing balance at other provider (2) offer of $200 per line to come over to TMobile. I have spent the last 6 weeks trying to get these rebates. Originally the store submitted the rebate information, however when callling 611 these forms were not submitted. Between going to the store again several times, and being re-referred to the 611 number, I have spent 20 hours on this without result. I submitted the information from previous provider showing payoff and Tmobile's Rebate service representative insisted the information was incorrect. I feel scammed. I was promised something and was not delivered. This is just wrong. In addition, all customer service calls are now routed outside the United States. I am so opposed to sourcing out jobs. Bottomline, please be aware of this scam.

For introduction, I live in Michigan & Missouri 6 months each, thus need to make internet provider service changes frequently. I've written on bad experience last year with WOW, this time i'm going to talk on T-Mobile, in particular the T-Mobile store on Van Dyke Ave Utica MI. I've been lied to by the sale staff on one free month internet 5G service which was suggested by him, I didn't initiate such. Next issue is the autopay sign up requirement to get $5/mo discount. I suggested to the sales personnel that my subscription is only 6 month as my MO home is not within T-Mobile service area. I suggested pay T-Mobile 5 months subscription upfront of $250 counting the $5/mo discount. He did not explicitly say not acceptable. In a month when i got the T-Mobile bill, i didn't get the free month or the $5/mo discount. I went to another T-mobile store & talked on the issue, was told that only way to get $5/mo discount is to sign up for autopay. So i went back to the T-Mobile store on Van Dyke Utica & talk to the sales staff, then i knew that i've lied to.
The story here is: T-Mobile store is contracted business on commission. Store operator furnishes a location with at least one trained staff during open hours, T-Mobile furnishes the 5G wireless modem/wifi. Store staff are NOT T-Mobile employees, thus they have more room to operate business including the treatment I got. My loss is just $5 for 1st month & no free month which is not what i anticipated so not a big deal yet.
In 2 more months, would be judgement day as i've to call T-Mobile for shipping package to return the modem as store would NOT take it. I've to call credit card to cancel autopay and i may have to contact MI State Attorney General Office on complaint if T-Mobile plays the same trick as WOW.

I tried the T-Mobile Home Internet "gateway" in hopes of being able to finally break free of the local monopoly cable and internet provider (Worcester residents know who I'm talking about!). T-Mobile has far exceeded my expectations for fast and reliable internet. Based on testing using speedtest.net, the download speeds are consistently exceeding 100 mbps and are at least as good if not better than my now former cable provider. Upload speeds are better. Video calls and streaming TV have been seamless, including multi-person video calls while someone else streamed at the same time. The included gateway device has two outbound ethernet ports, which allows the option of connecting a device without WiFi and/or connecting another router (for me, keeping my existing router made the set-up even more convenient) but you don't need a router as the gateway serves that purpose for you. I did find that the gateway's signal wasn't great at the opposite corner of my house from its optimal placement, but using my existing router solved for that just fine (a repeater would also work). The current offer for a $50 gift card to basically make your first month free was also pretty easy to redeem with an online form - you do have to remember to go and submit for the card after you activate, as it won't be sent to you automatically. Even without that introductory promotion, you can't beat the price and simplicity, and T-Mobile has finally allowed me to truly "cut the cord" while helping me save literally hundreds of dollars a year!

I filed a claim on a lost iPhone7. Warranty required $149 deductible which I objected since I have paid $18 a month for 5yrs. T-Mobile Call center person called Tiffany offered me a solution. 3way call with warranty and after I pay, she will immediately file void my phone bill! But then, Tiffany hunged up on me and disappeared. I have been calling, filling reviews and emailing and still I am unable to cancel the $149 claim. I am angered by the lies and duplicity. This how T-Mobile treats 7year loyal customer. I canceled warranty, and I will cancel service with T-Mobile :(
