Ordered my son a gaming computer for Christmas, received it in excellent condition. He loves it and I am very happy with Tiger Direct. I have ordered various computer components in the past for my older son and have never had an issue either. A couple things to remember--because I did get a bit nervous with making a big purchase online and it did take 2-2 1/2 weeks to get: I paid through PayPal--First I saw my credit card charged, then the charge disappeared and I got a bit frantic. I called Tiger Direct directly and spoke to a gentleman who was wonderful and explained that with big purchases, they do a "test" run with PayPal to make sure the funds are available and when the item is shipped, then the account will be charged... it made sense and that is exactly what happened. (Tiger Direct isn't the only company that does this... my bf just had the same experience with ordering items for his job from another company and went through a little anxiety himself until I told him to call the company directly) I would recommend Tiger Direct to anyone re: my experience with buying computers, and components. :) ADD: I researched many computers -- and got more "bang for my buck" with Tiger Direct.
So I know that this company has many positive reviews but that is not helping me out at all.
On 10/9/2021 I ordered a refurbished laptop from tiger direct. I received the item in a box that had no signs of damage whatsoever. The laptop was wrapped in cellophane and the bezel on the monitor half of the laptop was coming apart and there was a giant bubble where the headphone jack was. I e-mailed them on 10/13/2021 and stated the issues. On 10/14/2021 they requested photos which I provided on the same day I took photos of the shipping box and the damaged laptop. After arguing for the price of the restocking fee which they finally waved I agreed to a product exchange that they said would take 5-7 business days for a return label which I thought was excessive but agreed to. It is now 11/1/2021 and still no label (11 business days). I have emailed them to remind them after 6 business days and told them to forget the exchange and just get me a refund with label. Still nothing. I have been more than patient and I don't understand why I am being treated this way.
On Sunday, December 20,2015, at around 12:30pm, I went to the Tiger Direct Store in Jefferson, GA, with my 13 year old son and his friend to purchase 3 laptops, and planned to spend up to $1500. I had questions about anti-virus protection for the systems, so the sales rep who was helping me called Brandon Martin from the in-store tech services, over to answer my questions. However, to all of my questions about anti-virus protection on the laptops, Brandon would shrug and give a variation of "I don't know" or "I'm not sure they can do it" as a response. At no point did he say, "Let me see if we can do that" and actually try to find out what could or couldn't be done. The whole exchange was very frustrating so I said, "You are not inspiring confidence in my purchase." Brandon responded, "I am not doing it for this $#*!!" and walked away. He said that in front of me and the two children.
I brought my complaint to the store manager, who seemed unconcerned about Brandon's behavior and said, "All I can do is send him home for the day."
So, no, Tiger Direct did not make a sale that day. Nor will I ever buy anything from them in the future, personally or for my business.
I placed an order on their website at10/02/2020. There are two units in the picture of their website. But I only receive one. I called the customer server *******437) at 17:20 Oct 6,2020 CT. The representative was very inpatient after she repeated the email address twice while I was not following. She even said "Oh my God" to show her impatience. I was very angry and asked aloud why she was not patient. I said I want to complain about her and need her ID. She refused to provide me any information and muted me for 10 minutes then hung up.
I wrote an email to customer service to return the item. My case was not approved until I called the credit card company to dispute the transaction 30 days later.
Now my case is approved but they won't refund my original shipping charge and may charge me15% restocking fee. It's their misleading picture that causes all the issues. It's no reason to charge me any fees. I called them again today, and my call was cut off after 10 mins waiting. Tiger Direct Buss, you are definitely cutting you customers.
DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM unless you want the same experience as me.
Laptop purchased here was just a piece of crap. Locked up, would not turn on, shut off at random, would not log on. I have never had troubles with computers until I purchased one here.

I used this website at time when I was building my PC. Some of the parts are functioning very well, but some of them are not good. I am not well satisfied with their service. The price is affordable.

They refused to assist me with returning the wrong item they shipped to me. Awful customer service experience with onsale.com. Do not buy anything from that site.
I've occassionally shopped at TigerDirect. They are OK and have good products, prices, etc.
If I think "TigerDirect" I usually associate the name with quality products.
Havent had the best luck with these guys, CPUs sent with bent pins in the past, OEM stuff is packed terribly, but some of the HDDs and SDDs are a steal, perhaps worth the hassle if you are pinching pennies.

Purchased refurbished Dell Lattitude. I charged it as indicated for 8 Hours, held charge for 2 hours. Complained, told they were not responsible for battery. I read, after the fact that there is no guarantee of the battery. I now have a heavy "laptop" that has a battery life of 2 hours. I decided to return it, after many missed calls, I was to be sent a label in 4 -72 hours. Ninety six hours later, I am still waiting for label! READ ALL SECTIONS OF PRODUCT AND RETURN POLICY. Id include a picture but its packed waiting for a label!
2nd time ordering from Tiger Direct. I have bought 2 computers from them now (BOTH CYBERTRONS) Love the products! VERY FAST shipping, no problems! Will continue to order from them in the future! Highly recommend them to ANYONE who wants a GREAT computer at a great price. Beats a box store any day!

I don't trust them thay don't seem to care how they treat there custumers i have taken them to small caims and they have defaulted they are trying to settle with me they will give my money back but they don't want to give the 68.00 court fee, s back or ship the original computer eather they want to chage me more money
Shame on me for trying to get a bargain- the laptop they sent me died within a month of getting it. It took over 3 weeks to get them to replace it. Not worth it.

As of 12/24/2015, TigerDirect's refund policy is ALL SALES ARE FINAL---no refunds, returns, or exchanges. I purchased an HP V242h monitor from them that was DOA. BUYER BEWARE! Now I get a refurbished unit from HP under warranty instead of the NEW unit I bought from TigerDirect. I will not purchase from them again.
