I always worry a little when I buy tickets online as I never know if I am really going to get them or if they are really going to work when you get to the venue. Ticketmaster being one of the oldest ticketing agencies is extremely reputable and delivers electronic tickets by email. Very reliable service.
Cannot recommend these guys. I bought tickets to a recent concert. The tickets were sent to my phone, which was the only option. All was fine until concert day when I could not find the barcode for the tickets! It had simply vanished resulting in having to stand in a line to get paper tickets!
Ticketmaster will take your money and want refund it my husband had to be rushed to the hospital this August 2023 therefore we couldn't make the concert ticketmaster there's no way they refund our money of $177.00 dollars,so it's free money for them don't do business with ticketmaster,Cassondra House.!
Poor customer Service, very deceptive practices on resale tickets. I had a lot of difficulty, with purchasing the tickets, then they resale without being specific about, then no customer service, just machines answering. The website didn't work often, it is very hard to get help from someone and people were not very helpful when I did get a hold of them. Further, one of the events I had tickets I tried to get a refund because now I have to install a new app to get someone else tickets.
I bought a picnic bench set of 6 tickets to Saratoga race track. Ticket Scammer offered a parking pass to pay and park closer. The day of the race came and we showed up 1-1/2 hours before the start of the race and went to the predesignated parking lot. The woman at the entrance said they were full and we'd have to find our own parking. Ticket Scammer doesn't care where or what they sell you, once your money is in hand, they don't care afterwards. Use a local broker and never use Ticket Master.
Ticket Master works fine, but to me, it appears Ticket Master charges fees well beyond they value they provide. This seems to point to some market imperfection which allows these profit margins to persist. Personally, I am happy for a band to get my money if I pay to see a show, and I understand that a venue should be compensated as well. But it seems a little odd that an online ticket reseller charges as much as 30% in fees: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ticketmaster#Service_fees
I'd love to see a competitor disrupt Ticket Master's market, but it seems for the time being their exclusive contracts with large live venues will keep their pricing power intact. http://www.nytimes.com/1995/06/15/arts/pearl-jam-bows-to-ticketmaster.html
We purchased 3 tickets for this concert in 2020. It was rescheduled twice. It was now supposed to be held on July 10th, 2022. On July 9th, we received confirmation from Ticketmaster that it was a go. We drove to Milwaukee, planned our day around this, to show up to an empty parking lot. Security told us it was cancelled and to contact Ticketmaster. Our e-tickets now show postponed, without a new date. I can't get through to Ticketmaster via phone. The E-Chat tells me the event organizer isn't allowing refunds at this time. I'm not going to try for a 4th potential date. I'm VERY frustrated and want a refund. We spent just under $1,000 for these tickets and parking. How can a company get away with this type of service?
I have been trying to use a ticketmaster gift card for 3 years. The events you can use the card for are very limited. The New York Yankees referred me to ticketmaster to buy tickets. I can pay with my credit card but i cannot use the gift card because NY Yankee tickets are not a ticketmaster approved event.
Ticketmaster sells seats with restricted view without letting you know the view is restricted.! This is the third tine i have paid hundreds for tickets and had this happen. Final straw am at ed sheeran and view of screen is blocked.
I purchased resale tickets through ticketmaster only to find that I was sold ones for the game a week prior to the one I wanted to attend. When I called ticketmaster the guy kept saying "there is nothing I can do." I was not refunded the $135 I spent for tickets I could not even use nor was I credited towards a future event. On top of it I tried purchasing the tickets 3 times only to keep getting kicked off the ticketmaster website and had to change my password. I told the guy about this problem too and still all he could say was "there is nothing I can do." Very highly disappointmented in how this situation was handled and it makes me not want to do business with ticketmaster ever again.
On 9/27/2021 I bought tickets for Eva Ayllon for West Palm Beach (about 100 miles away), however, Ticketmaster confirmed the tickets for a location in New York which is 1,200 miles away. The ONLY possibility to get in touch with them was an email address I found. So within 10 minutes of ordering, I responded by email. The next day, I received an email back that said they take care of it. Then another day later, they said that they are Ticketmaster Australia. In a chat with them, I asked them for help. They could not see an option for me to get in touch with them, so they responded that they will contact them and take care of it. When Ticketmaster USA drew more than $300 from my account, I contacted my Credit Card provider who said that they opened a case. Now, about 3 months later, the CC company denied the claim.
Ticketmaster is quite possibly the worst company in existence. Zero customer service. Zero customer support. For your own benefit, never ever ever ever give Ticketmaster a single penny of your money. They are a garbage company and pretty much criminal.
Horrible, horrible experience all around!
I purchased the tickets with them in February, then the concert has been delayed for a year, so I requested a refund. After three months I haven't seen my money yet, going back and forth with them. Every time I have a new person to contact me and every time they have a new story to tell me.
Never again!
Sitejabber got me my tickets to me in a matter of days checked with me to make sure i got it and emailed me again to check. Haven't seen customer service like this in years! Sitejabber you ROCK! 10 stars from me!
Bought tickets direct from Ticket Master and was told repeatedly by staff my refund was automatic within 30 days. After 30 days no refund, so I check status... now staff says hard tickets must be snail mailed to WV. The receipt shows no 3rd party seller. This is stealing!
They charge you a service fee, then to sell them they are charging the new buyer the same fee I paid so they are double dipping, they refuse to do or say a thing but send a page to their policy where again they try to cover the scam, Do not use
Strange how these sites seem to get all the tickets on the 'open market' for events first and then are allowed to hike the prices up. They really should limit the mark up to let normal folk actually afford to go to the events.
There's no means to contact anybody, no means to screenshot tickets, no means to download tickets from the mobile app...
Then when you get to the venue, everybody is trying to get on the same website and it is impossible.
I've just called their helpline number, it comes up with this 'this number is no longer in service'.
They really do deserve a 0 or 1 star!
Had to spend 1.5 hours on my computer and phone, just to get CLOSE to " claiming" my tickets, which I'd already paid for via credit card... WAY too many hoops to jump through. Will NEVER use them again EVER! They even emailed me at my email address to tell me that they did not "recognize my email address".
What doofuses.
I suggest you all stay AWAY from them.
So I am trying to sell 2 tickets to an event Online my tickets are listed as sellable BUT the Ticketmaster website is having technical problems Via their online chat (you can not ever speak to anyone directly) I was finally told
Well we see you purchased insurance on these tickets so just file a claim with them since we can not give you a refund!
What if I hadn't spent almost $45 on insurance
I would be out over $500! Not to mention all the time it will take to get a refund and time spent trying to sell my tickets They day selling tickets is fast and easy Toto false advertising! Stay Away and definitely buy insurance protect ruin! Ugh
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
