We bought 3 Mi Band-2 smart watch / heart rate monitor units from Gearbest. After a month or so of use they all failed, with the same issue, the heart rate monitor stopped working. Attempts to reload the software failed to resolve the issues.
Gearbest agreed that the units were defective, but only offered us a derisory $10 as compensation, that's $3.33 per unit, a tiny fraction of the buying price. They refused to exchange them, as we had requested. We're seriously wondering if we were sold fake units, but we'll never know the answer to this.
We've spent many hours with Gearbest on comms, trying to upload videos, sending messages detailing the device faults, only to be finally ripped-off.
We don't believe that they are a reputable company, as all these practically brand new devices failed and they wouldn't replace them.
We certainly wouldn't recommend Gearbest due to their awful customer service and dishonest returns policy.
