The equipment I got was of low quality and the connection was horrible! Tried to contact the customer service but they're so nonchalant and not helpful at all. I gave up on them and ended up with cancelling my contract with them.

After many loyal years at '3' being a customer on their 321 PAYG network, I suddenly wondered how my balance was disappearing so quickly recently. I found to my horror that my 321 plan had been stopped, and I had been put on another more expensive one. I always disliked '3' as there was no way of checking where you had spent your balance. I used up virtually all my remaining balance and after reading lots of reviews moved my number to 1p mobile. 1p per min, 1p per text and 1p per Mb data. I am not a heavy user of data, so it suited me fine. The only drawback is that you must top up every 4 months with £10. That is only £2.50 per month, plus your balance never runs out. They were excellent in providing a new sim card, a number to text '3' for a PAC code and found it simple to Port my mobile number over to them.
The added benefit is that you can see online (or mobile) where every penny is spent.
Early days to write a review for 1p mobile, but as they use the EE network, it is more stable than '3' was.
Worth a bash if like me, you don't use the internet much on your mobile. What is there to lose. Should have done this ages ago.
Had a mobile contract with them 2 years ago when it finished I went with someone else it took me 4 weeks to get rid of them and get my pac number from them after numerous telephone live chats I ended everything with them last week I checked my bank statements to find that they have still been taking taking my dd My fault should of check the statements I know anyway I called the bank to cancel and they gave me a refund of £349 tonight I get a email from three saying that I owe them £349 and they are sending debt collectors to me as I haven't paid my bill! Slightly strange as this is the first email I've had from them in two years! And a week after I've cancel my direct debit? If anything they owe me money! I'm shocked that it's took 2 years to contact me if they think I owe them money and one email threatening debt collectors I'm in the middle of the battle with them and being passed from pillar to post and waiting in que after que trying to sorting this out two years after I cancelled my contract if you google it you find 100 of 3 customers all has similar experience with this shambles of a company there customer service is shocking they lie constantly I will advise how I get on I find all this so unsettling and upsetting and I'm not letting them get away with the way I've been treated I shall keep you posted! But please please If your thinking of going with 3 mobile don't like me you will end up regretting it years later! Someone seriously needs to be held accountable for this company's actions
The worst phone company in the world. Absolute disgrace NEVER GET A CONTRACT WITH THIS COMPANY! I finished paying my contact off and they said was fully paid and then trying to still charge me for something I'm not even using anymore after they said it was closed and fully settled. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
They switched me to a new contact in 2021 which I cancelled within 24 hours but it wasn't cancelled. I found out later when they started charging me for roaming.

I cancelled my Internet dongle contract with Three but they didn't cancel it and they messed up my credit for non-payment. This is the worst network in the UK. NEVER NEVER NEVER AGAIN USE THREE NETWORK
Absolutely 0 signal in too many places and they do nothing to improve or fix it! They just offer some pathetic money to cover their asses! Stay AWAAAAAAY!

Your catch 22 system makes it impossible to contact you on a phone without a recorded message is disgrace whatever you try.
I am seriously pissed off a purchased a 3 Sim on Thursday the 1st day in country and 20 pound package this lasted 2 days in a place of limited coverage while hiking. As l needed a phone and to check internet against my better judgement I used my credit to purchase an unlimited data pack for 35 pound. You can imagine my surprise when unlimited data means virtually nothing as after 20 mins it said all data has run out. Unbelievable I thought Ned Kelly was dead. I have now flushed your Sim down the toilet where you dishonest practices and products deserve to be.
The only problem is you now have credit card number probably hocking it on the dark web as we speak. My plans are to least warn visitors to UK on as many forums as possible to your unscrupulous practices.
There was no way l was going to fork out any money for another 15 mins of net for your premium package so l have to use my wife's data probably being an astronomical amount per minute.

Cancelling my contract with three was an impossible task that left me trapped and spending much more money than I needed too. I spoke to 3 different people on the phone who went on to tell me to use the online chat. I went through the online chat who could not help me and passed me on with an email address to email. I emailed the address and they also couldn't help me, telling me I needed to go into a store (i was travelling at the time so this was not possible.)
Once I could finally get in store and get my contract cancelled I was told I needed to pay another months worth of wifi (that I haven't been using since I swapped to O2 months ago). There was nothing I could do and I had to pay. The process was lengthy and costly and I am very unsatisfied with my experience at three. My experience with both O2 and GiffGaff were amazing and so much better than three.
AVOID THREE THEY TRAP YOU AND GET AS MUCH MONEY OUT OF YOU AS THEY CAN.
I had a phone contract with 3 for my son. He decided to get his own now. 3 said we couldn't transfer the contract to him ( I had one for him for YEARS). He'd have to set up a new contract and I'd have to cancel this one. So I cancelled it in November. I stopped my DD. They sent me a demand for 42 quid which I ignored...til they sent it to a debt collection. So I paid it in March. I thought maybe it was the cancellation period and I couldn't get hold of anyone to query it. They then sent me another demand from the debt collection for 21.37. So I went on line for hours today. They hasn't cancelled the contract...but they'd do that now but charge me a month's contract...when I've already paid over 42 quid for nothing! So I managed to get them to cancel the contract and waive the months fee. But they won't waive the 21.37 they say I owe them because THEY didn't cancel my contract when I asked them to. If you look on trust pilot or any other review place they are regularly accussed by customers of failing to cancel when requested and racking up fees that most customers pay rather than go to court.
I keep getting inundated with spammy texts from three (with astonishing frequency) suggesting that I could save money by changing from PAYG to a contract on EXCLUSIVE OFFER!. I currently pay less than £5 a month on PAYG, whereas the contract that would supposedly save me money would cost £7 a month.
I fail to see where where the saving is.
Supposedly I should should be able to opt out from these spammy, misleading texts (the texts themselves, incidentally, to not instruct on how to do this). But it seems the online control panel is broken as I am unable to do so.
This company leaves as soon as something goes wrong. They have no loyalty what so ever. I highly do not recommend

Despite the supposed clean slate, I started receiving automated bills every month. Confused and concerned, I contacted customer service on multiple occasions, and each time they reassured me that the issue had been resolved and that the invoices could be dismissed as errors since my account was closed.
Regrettably, the problem persisted. The unwarranted bills kept coming, increasing over time. Now, adding insult to injury, Three UK has disclosed my information to an external collection agency, and this has started to negatively impact my credit score. The agency is now threatening severe actions if I don't settle these erroneous charges.
I've submitted all the evidence of Three UK's confirmation of account closure and equipment receipt to the collection agency, and I'm awaiting their response. However, this situation should never have escalated to this point.
This has been more than a simple inconvenience; it's been a harrowing episode that has affected my financial standing and caused undue stress. Therefore, I urge everyone to exercise caution with Three UK. Ensure you document all interactions and keep a close eye on your accounts even after cancellation to safeguard against a similar ordeal.
