We took out a broadband contract with 3.
The broadband speed in the house is terrible.
We phoned 3 to terminate the contract. They told us we'd have to go into a shop to do it ( why? - because they're deliberately obstructive Rs holes.). We went into the shop at the white rose centre Leeds and were told very abruptly by the passive aggressive manager 'Shaf' that they couldn't cancel the contract without us giving the box back. Sky send out return packaging for this and i had thought 3 would do the same.
So we took the box into the shop in Trinity Shopping centre in Wakefield. The staff there had some people skills ( unlike Shaf) and were polite. We were told they could have sent us out some packaging to return the router in. So it seems Shaf was lying. Unsurprisingly. That guy shouldn't be let off his lead in public never mind 'run' a shop. He is a total tool.
3 are awful. We also got a sim contract with them and the roaming data drips rather than flows. If ( like me) you have been daft enough not to read and be put off by all their terrible reviews online, hopefully you're still in your 30 day money back window. If not, you've been shafted. If you are still in that window, don't listen to their bull, get out now before you're tied in.
I have been 3 customer for 15 years. The old sim I cancelled a year previously wasn't cancelled there end. Got a threatening text and paid outstanding amount 30. 09. 22 through their web chat/call centre link. Payment bodged there end and they sent another threatening text.
Called them again 10. 10. 22, paid again, terrible customer service and she didn't understand what I was saying although admitted they had a record of my previous contact 10. 10. 22.
Received threatening email from Debt collection agency 11. 10. 22 even though everything paid up.
Sent complaints email to 3 about how terrible they are. Debt agency were great, advised everything paid and closed but this will remain on my record FOR THE NEXT 6YEARS due to 3's incompetance.
Anyone thinking of going with 3... don't!
Awful company, overpriced and total lack of customer service.
I will NEVER EVER associate myself with Three UK EVER AGAIN. They are the most underhand company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I had a contract with them for 2 years which ran out in July 2023. I contacted them to a week or so after the contract ended and they produced a final bill of £20.22 with no proper explanation. I spoke with a lady called Maria. Probably the most smug and arrogant person that I have ever spoken to. I had been with 3 mobile for over 20 years and will NEVER deal with them again.
Shockingly bad 4g and phone signal, never anything done about it. Call centres not in the UK and English is not understood or spoken very well. No loyalty and cannot wait to leave.
They claimed that they deliverd the mifi device I purchased. But they didn't. It was really hard to contact them afterwards. After they sent me a device with a wrong sim.
After everything I went to the store where they didn't even apologise. I had to wait for a long time to get it done.
Three is a scam! I got a contract with fonehouse and neither company's are helping me retrieve my handset. They have charged me for a contract I have not used 1 minute of and they are robbing me for my money. None of them are helping me and have scammed me. All that was done a DPD investigation and apparently cctv shows my handset getting packed. So why don't I have my handset or sim and using it because I have Been scammed and robbed.
Disgraceful, f""king and dirty business from 3 phone provider. If I have zero option, I will give them.
I lost a SIM card and then call them 3 times to replace. The guy did not give me because just a password despite I gave them my cards details and house number. They suspend my number although I did not use the phone. They suspended and still send me the overdue bills.
Write a complaint to Ofcom to make them serve the customers better.

Very disappointed in the quality.
After getting no help on multiple requests, I finally switched to Vodafone and very happy thus far.
Flawless WiFi connection.
Tried to upgrade my contract. Told phone would arrive may 4th it didn't chased them on 18th and 19th to find out it's not coming due to a system error. Then they still wanted to bill me extra 100 pound for phone I haven't received! Speaking to customer service they kept passing me round on the phone. To another clueless operater. Who kept insisting I had to pay bill to get them get a credit note which I wouldn't agree too. They may have cheap contracts. But if you pay penuts you will get monkeys. That is clearly how 3 operate! Abovoidvat all costs
Customer service is appalling, had numerous arguments with their staff after being called stupid, having attitude and just being disrespectful. Been told by managers that 3 cannot handle their clientele base due to a switch over in the "IT department" you can very rarely talk to a manager, it's usually only the person you're first landed with that is available apparently. They've been over charging me every month by £15 despite me calling and messaging online chat to get this "add-on" removed, to which that it's confirmed it has indeed been removed until next month and I get charged again. Since March. Now I'm refusing to pay my yet again iver charged bill of £84 for a month! They have doubled my bill. My contract has ended. I've asked them to cancel my contract and I just get given the run around by their staff. Now I apparently have £152 bill for one month! Signal is intermittent for the last year, but each time it's a fault of yours and maintaining your device or a fault with your device, never their fault. The worst company I've been with. 4 years ago it was a great company, now it's terrible, outsourcing all customer service representatives. It's disgusting.
I'm going to leave them definitely since they started charging silly for using internet abroad, they're getting us back to medieval, so poor. I regret staying with them
During this pandemic I have had great experiences with many companies offering some forebearance in understanding of the severe financial difficulties so many of us are facing. I cannot say the same for THREE, they are completely unwilling to help in any way. All I wanted to do was reduce the completely unnecessary data allowance they sold me but customer service and the financial difficulties of their customers is obviously not something they care about. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Worst company. Left chelsea at a very difficult moment. This company doesn't deserve to on the shirt I bought. I'm leaving the network too, and will never come back to Three.
Payed of my contract years ago and only recently received a letter saying I owe £28.
Also put a missed payment on my credit report which something I was unaware of!.
Terrible company. Notwithstanding their pathetic show off loyalty with Chelsea FC the whole network falls through the floor. Fantastic show of support for any Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK.
Let's all be honest, Three is the worst of all UK mobile phone service providers. Their customer service is below the standard required from an average mobile phone service provider. They have this unforgiving, pathetic, and harassing behaviour towards their customers for an outstanding bill. Even if the balance is below 2£. From the information we wave gathered, using Three Mobile Service is riskier than other services. These guys provide a ''neck on your throat' service and would cut your line off when most needed and just like that. Based on the information we have received, they also call their customers harassing them to make a payment or else their services would be restricted. Most of their customer service callers are based outside the UK. It seems, there can't be a service less worse than Three. Speak to a UK rep if you are running behind your bill and wants a bit of time. It is not a guarantee though that your complaint would be resolved. Do not waste your time with this service. They are pathetic, and one of the worst UK Mobile phone Service provider. Keep off and they will be forced to change.

It's like they don't provide internet at all even on whatsap doesn't work. They should give space to other networks and close their own if they really wanna be helpful because this ain't it.
I moved 5 numbers to Three from an other provider. The experience has been terrible. It is almost impossible to get hold of anyone at Three, the mobile reception has been patchy and there is no visual voice mail. I have unlimited data plans but the speed is very poor.
I am trying to cancel the contract within the 14 day period but they are making it as difficult as possible by not giving me my PAC codes. They keep saying they will text it to me but they don't. They say I must register online but that doesn't work. When I call, they put me on hold for long periods and pass me around from one place to another without resolution. I have also been cut me off abruptly after hours of wait. When I finally get to speak to them, they make it as if I have never spoken to them before and they ask me the same questions and reasons for cancelling over and over again. I have been on waiting on their chats and phone systems for over 6 hours in the past two days to get my PAC code! Terrible.
I wouldn't join them even if it was free.

Absolutely a sham of a company provide poor signal advise me to move to another company as they cannot provide the service I require after only being with them for 6 weeks and always had an issue from day one.
Now have debt collection agent sending me a letter trying to recover nearly £800 call three customer service always end up in an Indian help line and always told I they cannot access my details call back with correct details I suggest three call me asap before I write a complaint to trading standards about this.
