I returned a $400 purchase. Per UPS, The Company Store received it on 12/24. As of 01/19 no refund was showing on my credit card statement. I have called the company and at this time have been on the phone with them for 20 minutes (longer than it is taking me to write this review), trying to resolve the issue. They have confirmed that they received my return. Don't know what the hold up is.
I purchased a flannel duvet cover in late september and just put it on the bed today. This is the worst! The quilt will not stay in right, there is all kinds of wrinkles and just won't lay flat. I have been using duvets for thirty years and have never had this problem. Because I will be keeping it folded at the end of the bed I can get it to smooth out, but if you want one to use as a cover do not buy a flannel duvet from this company.
To the poor shopper who bought a children's monogrammed knight and flamingo bath towels (Ryan and Layla), I was the one that received them instead of my own monogrammed purchase. I was told that I would not be able to reorder since there was only a couple left and my new order would be put at the bottom of the list. I assume you're in the same boat. I spent my entire lunch break trying to get the item picked up and sent back for you, I'm sure we can both agree this company isn't worth the effort.
First, their quality sucks. You can get better at Walmart. Second, if you order something, you will NEVER get your money back. I am nine weeks out and still no refund. I gave up and went through my credit card company to dispute it and nail them that way. HORRIBLE company!
Bought twin size 100% cotton quilt with matching sham. Cute pattern but after 1 washing the cotton batting inside started separating after 3 washings (using their washing instructions) it is totally separating and only left with thin see through cotton (see photo)
My wife and I purchased a down comforter from the Company Store that is excellent. Two years ago, we took the plunge ($365 each) for pillows. Now these pillows are are pancake flat and in their own assessment, a return for credit. If these are so bad, why would I buy them again. They are balking on a refund of the purchase price. Let's see if they see the error of this logic.

I ordered a down comforter that was never delivered, after 2 1/2 weeks. I checked with UPS, and got no info. I checked with The Company Store to cancel and get a refund. They cancelled, but said I will only get a refund after UPS delivers it back to them. You see the problem here. And Company Store is making their problem mine. I may never see that $269.38 again. It is highly likely that UPS lost the order.
They claim UPS could not deliver because of bad weather. Well, that explains 3 of the days out of 2 1/2 weeks, but not any other. They claim I cancelled with UPS directly. I did not. When I called Customer Service, I was transferred to a supervisor, who claimed I had asked to be transferred to her. I had not. Just all around mistakes that make for a terrible customer experience.
I ordered 2 matching comforters in December. In July I received one and the notice that the other was backordered until next January. Unacceptable. They will not match and waiting a year for an order is also unacceptable.
I have bought comforters from them in the past and been very pleased. But now I'm very disappointed. I am returning the one they finally sent and taking my business elsewhere.
I didn't even have to open the packages to see that the quilted merchandise was crap! There was NO quilting and what they called quilting was just a stich through the fabric probably done by some child in a foreign country. Even my coworkers were shocked by the quality and the price I had paid for the quilt and pillow shams.
Now, I'm having to fight for my refund and they are telling me that it's due to my bank/credit card company processor being slow to process the transaction. Excuse me! I work in the processing industry and know that it doesn't take weeks to process a credit transaction.
I ordered two euro pillow cases (on final sale). I ordered before reading the reviews and was very nervous. However I had no problems at all. My order came about a week later and exactly what I ordered in good condition so overall very satisfied.
Never came. They were to arrive beginning of February 2022. The kept emailing they did not They dont have items. Purchased on sale. Last contact they were going to overnight May 6. Called May 7 to ask if coming today. They don't have item. Clearly I am frustrated. Several times I have spoken to them. Finally cancelled. Never again. Their service horrible. Don't expect to receive your order!
Serious accounting issues. I am receiving letters and emails claiming they shipped items but they never got paid 7 months ago. They are not providing declined charge issues. Since November, I gave ordered, paid for and received 3 more orders. I would never accept items not paid for. I can not get anyone to answer the phone. I have called the customer service multiple times, sent emails. Now I see they have lots of accounting issues! Never again will I purchase!
I ordered a robe from them with 2 day shipping. They shipped it ground. Tried to blame UPS for their screw up. Customers service is a joke. Haven't even recieved the item yet. The lady gave me 2 different excuses in the same conversation.
I purchased a waterproof mattress pad in July. At the same time, a memory foam mattress. Now in November, I spill coffee on the pad and it goes right through to the mattress. Contents are 77% cotton and 23 % polyester for the top. Bottom layer is 100% polypropylene. Purchase price $115.00 plus tax. When I call them to tell them about this they try to convince me I did not have a waterproof pad. They no longer sell this pad. I tell them the pad has ruined my mattress. They just argued with me for 5 minutes so I wil try and find my receipt. I guess they don't know what polypropylene is. Do not buy from this company. They do not stand behind their products.
Charged 208 dollars for an order that went to my old address across country, although it is changed on their site. Refused refune without package, which went to an empty apt 2500 miles away. POOR SERVICE. Will never order from them again. My first call they did not even find my account under my phone. Horrible experience.
I have ordered jersey knit sheets from The Company Store for as long as I can remember. Bought a new king size bed and needed new sheets. Unfortunately things have really changed over the last few years. My sheets arrived no where near true to color, looking like returned items. One bag was shoddily taped shut, the other sheet had been on the shelf so long, in the middle was a faded rectangle where the cardboard insert had been. Not what I expect for the price. A 35 minute call to customer service, excritiatingly painful. The sheets are going back obviously. In today's economy, there's no room in the market for bad customer service. Far too easy to order with Amazon. The Company Store... no more!
Don't bother... go to Macys. Two years ago I purchased 2 King Down Pillow for $300 each. Within 6 months they were flat as a pancake! I can shake the down into one end and barely get a plump standard size pillow. There's a good 6-8 inches left of empty casing at the end. What a waste of money... never again!
I ordered two items in April 2022 and I am still waiting waiting for my order to be shipped. I contacted The Company Store via email and was assured that my sheets would be sent overnight. Ha, that was last week and I'm still waiting. Furthermore, they mistakenly have charged my cc twice for the same order. Fortunately it is only pending so I am hopeful that my cc company will straighten it out. I used to like TCS very much but since they were bought out by the corporate giant Home Depot they are very messed up. I won't be shopping with them in the future.
I ordered 2 family kids pajama sets for Christmas gifts but the sizing was way off. The pants of each set were so small at the waist and length was very short. I called customer service to ask if a prepaid label was available for the return. The representative was not at all polite and told me with a snicker that they did not have free shipping on returns. I had to pay $15.00 to return the unwanted items at the Post Office. I will not order from this company again. Somehow this Company has lost its customer value and as I read all the negative reviews wonder if The Company Store management does also.
I've bought a few things from The Company Store and am pretty happy with them overall. But I recently purchased a mattress pad that I didn't love. I didn't realize they didn't offer free (or discounted) returns. It's a big box and I had to pay basically a third of the price of the item to return it. My fault for not knowing in advance (I wouldn't have risked it) but I've gotten used to free returns. Won't be buying from them again because it's too expensive if you don't like something.
Answer: It has been easy to get hold of customer service and eventually worked out multiple problems. Let me add, their were too many problems to continue doing business with the company.
Answer: Legitimate Business selling stylish bedding and home products. As a satisfied customer for over 25 years, I will shop elsewhere as the quality is now poor and cheaply made.
Answer: Not only that, but return labels are much cheaper than paying retail USPS charges. Never shopping there again.
