I spent 2 hours shopping online and getting the discount offered on the website (plus the email that I had received for that offer). After I place my order, there was not provide. I contact customer service and get "apologize" for the inconvenience; the offer expired. I asked why it is still on the website and why I got the email again "apologize "for the inconvenience. Not the first time that I have an issue with the order. Unfortunately, I have a gift card, and I have to use it up. Otherwise, I don't even get close to this business. I wish I could get 0 as they do not even deserve 1 star—horrible customer service. The person on the phone is not even in Canada, and it is so hard to understand.
I'm really feedup from online customer service, unknoldge and can't help or solve any matter, in addition they hung on you any time with no any respect, the girl can be laughing with other representatives during talking to you... what a crazy service.
In addition, I placed order online, for 3 weeks no one know where is the order then after 22 days they told me it's returned back as wrong address!
What a joke... already same address have 3 shipment before, now they telling me my credit card will be refund in 14 days and now have to buy the item with regular price instead sale price as first order... very disappointed, I will return back anything purchased before within 90 days time frame.
Oh, just to let you know, if you ask to talk to supervisor forgot it, no one ever will got back to you... good like if you do any business with this garbage service online.
I was very surprised to read the low rating as I have dealt with the bay for years and have always had great service. If I wanted to return anything i purchased online or in person I have never had any problems. I usually return items because I order it in 2 different sizes. I love the bay
I have made an order, they made me wait for weeks, and every time I call their customer service they say: "just wait!". Then, the order has been returned to them! However, this time when I called them about this, they say: " Sorry, we have nothing to do for you!"

I contacted Hudson's Bay customer support line several times and twice was hung up on by their staff. I am so disappointed with the service and support Hudson's Bay provides. Firstly, that I had quite an issue trying to locate a registry, decided against buying something for someone on their registry as it was too difficult of a transaction and couldn't locate, tried to communicate with customer service in order to update an order already placed and hadn't had any success.
I am just appalled at how Hudson Bay operates and treats potential and current customers. I certainly will not buy from Hudson's Bay again, even if someone has a registry with them, I will look elsewhere to do business.
Wow! I walked by and decided to purchase a lipstick at the MAC counter in the Waterloo Bay in Conestoga Mall...but, came out with a wealth of knowledge and some beautiful new products. Randy was so kind and helpful. I am so excited to try my new makeup! What a great experience!
The worst service that I experienced as a customer. Unfortunately, unhelpful and rude customer service. They are supposed to be solving problems but at the Hudson Bay the customer service manage to make them so much worse instead.
I found I couldn't access my shopping cart on the website. I emailed in, heard back and was given basic instructions on clearing my cache, which did not resolve the issue, and I was asked to call in for further assistance. I quickly called in and hung up as soon as the automated voice messaged stated that "wait times would be longer than normal." I responded to the email with a screenshot of the issue and all necessary information, and I specified that I would not call in to wait on hold.
An associate emailed me back asking me to call in to the same number.
I guess they don't read over there or something, and they seem to forget they make money off customers purchasing items.
Oh, well. I guess I won't be shopping there ever again.
I purchased a Hudson Bay Blanket (Queen size and a six pointer) The top end of the blanket is beginning to UNRAVEL. I contacted the customer service department and was told there was nothing they could do. This is a pretty poor show for an item that cost over $500. The 10 year protection plan from defects is useless.
I purchased a sixty dollar child's suitcase and the Bay charged my credit card. Their supplier sent me a cheap board game with no packing slip and no invoice. I contacted the Bay who sent me to the supplier. The supplier said UPS delivered it. Therefore, the Bay took my money and I got ripped off.
They have a bunch of indian customer service who barely speaks ANY english, and keeps transfering the call to another department if they can't deal with your issue. I was transfered in a huge circle, from Capital One to Hudson Bay, then back to Capital One, and then somehow to Neo Financials. Lol Not using any of these three providers in the future. Do not recommend.
I purchased a pair of formal "Lucky Brands" boots with a regular price of $175 on Nov 17. I wore them out for a business function for one evening...one evening...ONE! When I got home and took them off, i saw that there was a hole on top of one of them, about 3 cm from the end.
Today, Dec 18, I took them back expecting a refund and was told that they would not do a refund in their condition because they couldn't be put back out for sale. I pointed out that their condition (the hole) was the reason that I was returning them.
He told me that he would give me a credit for today only and that it had to be used for shoes. I told him that the first pair was defective and that I don't want another pair of defective shoes. He was adamant that I could have a credit on shoes but else.
I used to like shopping at The Bay but now I say Don't waste your money buying anything there".
I ordered beauty items after that I got wrong item. I called customer service they said l need to return it. When l was such l need to print return label and went to return sop and l did. I need my order so l called customer service then they didn't care about my situation and l asked my gift card before l used with my first order, they said l need to wait 24 hours to get it. Waiting more than 29 hours l didn't get it. After that l call customer service they said some free item must l need to get already gone. But l ordered again without free item then it will come more than one week
Oh my god don't do it any online order with Hudson bay customer service and workers are not help and not care about customers

I had a very unusual and difficult watch strap to replace.
The repairman, Jeremy, was so pleasant and helpful. The strap was replaced very quickly in spite of Jeremy only having replaced this type of strap once before. I was very impressed! Thank you for such fine service and staff.
I purchased a coat from the Bay, but it arrived in a different color than what was expected. The Bay informed me that the coat was purchased through their marketplace, and they are not responsible for the issue. Unfortunately, I have not received any response from the marketplace regarding this matter. I trusted the Bay and assumed they would be responsible since they did not inform me during the shopping process that they would not be liable for such issues.It does seem to be a problem that the Bay works with a provider who is not trustworthy or responsible
I have sent several messages wanting to speak to a "buyer" at Hudson Bay…. Regarding some pillows that I purchased…. Every time I speak to customer service and ask to speak to someone that being a "Buyer" within head office they want to take an order from me absolutely sooo frustrating. Not only have these pillows been amazing sleeping pillows the cost was $200 each and I have purchased these on multiple occasions the last two times I have ordered them they are awful they have changed how they are made not using same quality product they have in the past like Hudson Bay the company that makes these pillows sources out their customer service and cannot answer any of my questions as to why and even better the price at Hudson Bay has now increased by $100. The pillows now cost $300 each I had a customer service rep on the phone today who lives in South Africa… really nice?… and the reason I cannot speak to someone in Canada what a joke…..
I bought a Christmas tree on November 13, and when I got home, I checked it and found that it was a different product from the tree I had purchased.
The next day I returned the tree and requested the product I had purchased, but there was no stock in the store.
Therefore, the store staff ordered through Hudson bay.com on November 14. Finally, I received the tree on December 5, but it is the wrong product.
They sent me a different product. I don't understand this happen. Is that system error or human error?
I contacted the customer center, and they sent me the Canada post QR code. Is that mean I have to bring xxx tree and drop it at the post office?

I ordered a golf dress that i didn't realize was thru marketplace. I thought it was from the Bay. When I went to return it at the bay I was shown the tiny little print on the e invoice that said item was not returnable. I'll no longer shop there or the Bay store.
I was ordering a cosmetic with free gift. I received cosmetic in one package, in other box (supposed to be free gift)were nothing, except printed receipt and protective wrapping paper, but no complimentary set. Probably workers just forgot to put it in. I was live chatting, they told me to go store. In store, they told me to call to cost. Service. Costumer service told me to wait while they do 14 days investigation. If Hudson Bay made a mistake, they should fix it, like Sephora does. Not satisfied!

I returned a purchase to Marketplace Seller (Evolution Fulfilment) affiliated with the Bay. The tracking code from Canada Post show that the received the item June 23,2021. I am yet to get my refund. I am unable to contact Evolution Fulfilment but contacted the Bay twice. Customer service at the Bay promised to contact the seller and get back to me in 24 to 48 hours but have not heard from them.
Answer: They are a legitimate company which is managed poorly.
