Would give our order 5 stars but one of the bikes we received had a flat tire right out of the box. Replaced tube and good to go. Bikes were very quick and easy to assemble

BEWARE! I received a bike from my father as a Christmas gift. Upon travel back to Portland, we realized that this was a men's frame and would be too large for me. I called "The House Outdoor Gear" and explained the situation also sharing that this was the very "FIRST" Christmas gift I have ever received from my father as we just found each other through a DNA website early in the year!
He didn't realize that this was a men's frame upon ordering. After being transferred multiple times and spending a very long time on hold I spoke to Jordan who said it was not a problem to return the bike as the holiday return policy was extended into January! I would need to pay the shipping fee for their return label and any difference in cost between the bike I received as a gift and the bike I wanted to purchase.
Upon receiving the email from Jordan there was a return/exchange form but no shipping label. I called back and was directed to a different customer service representative who is NOW saying that I don't qualify for the holiday return policy because my father was an early shopper and purchased in September. How terrible! And now they will be adding on restocking fees (((if))) they make an exception and allow the return!
Are you serious!?! So I am told one thing and then another... How could you operate your company like this! Talk about NO customer service. How dare you! Especially, given the circumstances of this gift. Your company should be ashamed of yourselves.

Horrible, horrible service.
They shipped the wrong product, then wanted me to pay for the charges to ship the correct product. After a fight with the customer service representative, spoke with a supervisor who claimed that Altrec would ship the correct product FedEx OVERNIGHT.
It turns out they did not ship the supposedly correct product OVERNIGHT, but, rather, shipped it FedEx Home Delivery (about 5-7 days per FedEx representative). Consequently, the item did not reach my home before I left on vacation (and still hasn't).
I recommend NeverNever using Altrec; it clearly is not a dependable, reliable company.
Oh, and their company chat online - doesn't work or they deliberately cancelled me because twice I was first in line and all of the sudden the screen said, call back.
For many years I have ridden a road bike. The fat bike will be a new experience. I like the all terrain capabilities, and love the disc brakes. I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment.

Delivery came on time and everything was neatly packaged. The board was well protected inside a zipped bag to prevent dust and pitentially large scratches.

Great bike I ride it back forth to work dying from being out of breathe but everything is great except the seat I ripped 2 pairs of pants in 2 weeks and it feels uncomfortable
It arrived quickly and my son had it put together in less than 24 hours. Hes loved the frame and style and the height is perfect for him- hes 9! Very happy with our purchase!
This is a Christmas gift for my son and I took it in to get assembled and the package is missing parts, missing both front tire bolts, missing the chain gaurd bracket, the brake disk is rubbing and in order for it to stop you have to loosen up the brakes and then the braking system doesnt stop the tire, and cheap decal, I had to purchase out of pocket 2 bolts and washers for the front tire this should have been in the package already, hand to purchase a chain guard bracket to the chain doesnt get stuck when peddling, wont buy from here again
