Ordered a book, was supposed to receive it in 10-15 days received it a month later so I had to drop my class for lack of materials! When I asked for a full refund they promised the would return it after 6 attempts and 5 months of trying to get ahold of these people I finally gave up! They kept my money and the book! This was the worst company I have ever dealt with!
Customer service with Textbook Head is terrible once you confront them through emails. I was sent three of the same books, which were wrong to begin with. Sent them back and was told I would receive a refund for the order... after numerous emails, I haven't heard back from them nor received a refund. I would not rent another book from them.
Took forever to receive my book and by the time I actually received it, the semester was over. I shipped the book back and was told that I would be refunded, I still haven't seen my money 3 months later. Stay clear, it is a scam!
I ordered this book for an intensive summer class and it took over 2 weeks to receive; the class is half over! When I e mailed them they told me they were sorry "I" hadn't done a better job with my shipping selection and blamed me that it was a holiday weekend. As Sarah mentioned no phone number... Back to Amazon it is!

This is one of the worst business to order books form! It takes them twice as long to get you the books to you and then you will spend weeks trying to get it back to them. Also good luck trying to get a phone number; they only give out an email.
Purchased a Health 101 book and summer school was two down out of a five week course. I was told to return to sender and they would gladly send my money back. I wrote RTS on the package after 3.5 weeks of purchase. Some how Textbook heads delivery service through a third party is allowing them to get away with keeping the consumers money. I am out the money and the book. I used Paypal and to know avail they $#*!ing suck as well because they didn't protect my credit. I have escalated this the BBB and am waiting for a response. If I could rate them a negative zero I would. DO NOT USE TEXTBOOK HEAD for anything.
I ordered a book, then noticed the ship to address was wrong in my confirmation email ( I entered a different ship to address, but they defaulted it to my bill to address). So I emailed them about the address and that the book was promised 4-8 day shipping. It has been 6 days and I haven't even received an email that the book was shipped. I got an auto reply that they would email me back in 24-48 hours. It has been over 48 hours, and I have not heard anything. I only hope I can get a refund on this.
I rented a book. Paid for expedited shipping (3-7 days) it took a month to get. They said they'd reimburse me the shipping costs, they didn't. They sent me the 4th edition even though I paid for the 6th. They said they'd reimburse me %25, they didn't. Now I'm trying to return it. No shipping information came with the book & I can't get in touch with anyone. I've emailed atleast 10 times. Don't be stupid like me & try to save a couple bucks. It's not worth it.
I ordered a book for this Fall 2016 semester and never received it. After emailing and being accused of receiving the book, I argued back and forth... end result never received the book! TOTAL SCAM!
They have poor customer service. They do not even have a telephone number for you to contact them. They send you old editions of the books that you want to rent. I ordered two books with the correct ISBN numbers and even saw the correct book cover when I placed my order, only to find them sending me very old editions of the book. Not to mention the fact that the books arrived late and in different shipments. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Save yourself money and time. Go elsewhere! Hope this review helped you. Also when I contacted them, their only response was to have me write "return to sender" and they didn't even have a contact number to help me out. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I purchased a book from this company and when I decided I no longer needed it I contacted the company. They said that they could not stop the book from being sent? It was the same day I purchased it. They told me it was at a warehouse going to be shipped to me.
Regardless I received the book and refused it. I contacted TBH and they have told me they would refund me within 48 hours. A week went by and no refund. I tried to reach out again and was unsuccessful at receiving a response. AGAIN, I contacted them with no response. This has been the third time and NO response. This is unacceptable from a company and I still do not have a refund from a book I purchased and sent back in AUGUST. This has been 3 months now...
ALSO, for a company not to have a phone number to contact and only an email is a little skeptical in and of itself. NEVER buy from this company.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They are not legitimate.
1) They sent me the wrong book.
2) They bought the book from Amazon.com and then sent it to me as a "gift."
3) They refused to pay return shipping
4) They expected ME to pay their Amazon.com return shipping for a book THEY bought online
5) They say they specialize in older versions of books. BS! All they do is search online for the cheapest edition of the book you want, send it to you, and hope you won't return it.
This is a disreputable company they doesn't deserve your business.

How am I suppose to return something I never got? A month goes by I finally get the book and I return to them 3 days later... Still waiting on a response. My experience was verbatim to Sheila K's below and oddly about the same time frame and email verbiage. DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Customer no-service is non responsive once payment is rendered. They will not return your inquiry or money. This company does not warrant one star!
Stay away from textbook head. They took my money and never gave me a book. I had to file a claim with my bank after four weeks of waiting for the book.
I ordered a textbook from this company and paid an up-charge for expedited shipping. The book never arrived and the company stopped returning my emails. I wish I would have read these reviews prior to ordering from them; however hopefully this will help others not make the same mistake I did. I've filed a fraudulent charge with my credit card company for this transaction. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!
Everything in my experience with this company has involved disgusting business ethics. I decided to order a book from this site because they were offering a significant discount for what appeared to be the same book. First mistake. The book took more than two weeks to arrive, it was from a different company other than Textbook Head, and it was three editions behind. They have no phone support and took a very long time to answer any emails (responses eventually ceased). I eventually had to file a dispute through Paypal. That's when it got their attention that I wanted a refund. They gave me a return address for Tyrone, GA and said I would be refunded in two business days. A week and a day passed beyond the delivery date and I ended up filing a claim. Said they would refund me if I mailed to Chattanooga, TN! How are you supposed to re-mail something that was already sent back?! Paypal ended up taking the money away from them forcefully to get my money back, and I am still out the money on shipping charges. My advice is to not trust this company. Period. I am still fearing that in the next few months, they are going to try coming after me for the retail cost of the book.
More like Textbook Scam! This is the WORST company I have ordered from them. I ordered my textbook on January 19th. They never sent me a tracking number so I have no idea if I will even receive the d*** book. I have sent them six emails... no response and I reported them to the BBB. Complete scandal company. I hope I get my money back... If you ordered from them REPORT THEM TO THE Better Business Bureau in Chattanooga and file a complaint if you want to try to get your money back! http://www.bbb.org
