Everything went wrong and is still going wrong. First I received a delivery notice saying the delivery was made at 2:52 p.m. on Nov. 19, even though my items had not been delivered. (I live in a condo and was home all day. No one rang my call box number for access, no one knocked at my door, no security video showed any delivery person, and no one left a package outside my door or even in the lobby of our building.) I tried multiple times on multiple days to contact the courier company (EMIle), but they would put me on hold and then disconnect me before allowing me to speak to anyone. There is only a "live chat" with an AI generated "person" at Temu. Despite being on numerous "chats" and emailing Temu, I keep getting conflicting answers. One email said the "case was closed" because the parcel was delivered, but now I have been getting emails saying my package is ready for "pickup at a Pickup Location" even though no name or address for a pickup location is ever given despite my repeated requests for said info. When I check the "tracking" form for EMIle, it says an "unsuccessful delivery attempt" was made at an "apartment" in Toronto, Ontario. I live in Whitby, Ontario. As far as I can determine, Temu is just fraudulently stealing my money and has no intention of giving me the items I ordered or refunding my money.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
A bunch of scam artists. Sites like temu shud be avoided at all costs. They fool you into believing they are giving you a massive discount when they have actually over inflated the so called "original price" by at least a 150%. Searched for identical item on their own site and always found them cheaper when I wasn't using their "discount coupon". Totally unethical with false business practices.
When requesting a price difference refund, they give you a measly refund. In 1 case I was offered a R4 refund when difference in the price on their own site was nearly R150 cheaper. Either they are using faulty Chinese calculators or just plain dumb and they can't do simple calculations.
The quality of a lot of items is much to be desired. Cheap Chinese junk.

I was using Temu but after several orders I noticed that unfortunately Temu is not serious and unprofessional. Most of the products are low quality and description in most of the products are not correct playing with customers. One more important matter is that they promise credit back guarantee in case of late delivery and finally they don't give it with ridiculous reasons. My order supposed to be delivered till 01.11. But arrived 04.11.Nothing... although I contacted customer care service. I have deleted application and account.(damania8)

Temu is a SCAM. They get you to buy things and then half of what they send is broken or moulded or not AT ALL what they said they were sending you. They know this is happening and they don't care. They have been notified of the laws they are breaking, and their response is that their policies override laws. They don't, but this is Temu's whole approach. Lie, steal, defraud, scam. They are criminals.

Their packaging is just plastic bag, when they get riped and items go missing it is not their problem, it is costumer who absorbs the loss.when you return more than 1 item they claim items are not found in return package, so again you get no refund. They are stealing from buyers and there is nothing anyone is doing to penalise them. Beter give money to charraty,at least that way you will be out off pocket but you will save yourself stress and frustration from dealing with Temu and you will feel good helpig someone who needs it.

Terrible first experience. I requested an item cancellation. Seller denied it, and shipped it. The item cancellation was requested several hours before it was shipped. Customer service claimed they couldn't help. So, beware, if you try to cancel for any reason, sellers can refuse it.

Temu had some decent deals, but the overall experience was frustrating. My order arrived over two weeks late, and when it did, the packaging was damaged, and one of the items was missing. Trying to get in touch with customer service was a nightmare—they kept bouncing me from one representative to another without resolving anything. The quality of the products was way below what I expected, with several items looking nothing like their pictures. I finally managed to get a partial refund after several days of back-and-forth, but the hassle wasn't worth it. I won't be shopping on Temu again.

A message will show up on an item local warehouse items over $30 free shipping. On others it will say free shipping over $30 from this provider. When you order the items your charge does not show the shipping that is involved. Then later when the item ships the shipping fees are added. This is a sneaky and underhanded selling tactic to me. An item costing $2 ends up costing $5. Watch out for this event.

I returned a number of items to Temu (all on one order) and they were in excellent condition. I only got refunded for one item. Now I am going back and forth with Temu. They say my order could be under another account and just giving me the run around. Two items on the same order as the other items came from a different warehouse. The others came from overseas. No answer yet. So frustrating.

Return policy does not work for elderly or disabled if the return is heavy and customer lives alone and does not drive there is not option for to return defective product.

This company or whatever it is called is an absolute piece of Garbage. I ordered a pair of dress shoes which should have been received on July 8th but did not arrive until today July 16th. The shoes were nothing compared to what was shown on the picture. It was a total piece of trash. Please do not buy anything from this so-called company. It's a fluke. Instead of asking for a rating from 1-5 star, there should have been an option to say "F" you as well. It was very disappointing overall.

I purchased a pair of shoes at $12.65 and received a wrong size (too large to wear) in Jun. 2024. I requested a "free return" and I received a $4.66 refund in July, 12th. I contacted the help center, and the real person agent told me that the $7.99 deductible is for the shipping fees. I argued that shipping fees should be showed before the return starts, not after. As a result, the help center didn't issue the refund of shipping fees.
I recommend you not to purchase from this APP if your time is more valuable than the cheap price. TEMU is designed for those housewives, retired people who have no work, no income. I am a working class. After purchasing and returning a hundred of items on this website, I decided to quit.
This APP is not reliable. They do not have credibility to trust with. Sneakily charging customers the shipping fees is not the American way in doing E-Commerce. Temu should be banned. I would continue to file complaints with BBB and other government regulatory agencies.

I ordered an expandable garden hose from Temu. I installed it and it seemed to work perfectly. Unfortunately I bought it back in Feb 2024 and it just broke about 2 weeks ago. It is spraying water out from the connection. I contacted Temu and told them it was defective. Unfortunately their policy on this item was only returnable within 90 days of purchase. My warning to all of you is be careful what you order from Temu. If it only has a 90 day return policy then you might consider paying a bit extra to buy it from a retailer that warranties items for more than 90 days. By the way I just bought another one of these hoses before the older one broke. So, I guess I need to return it or expect it to break in less than 6 months.

The most terrible company, in every way. Products of execrable quality, extraordinarily bad shipping, but the worst experience is that of the return. After walking from one side to another to drop off the package (the instructions on the website have nothing to do with reality), you wait a month to receive a refund that was not even issued. I have been to the bank several times so far, only to be told that the ARN code sent by them to verify my transaction is invalid. There is no other solution/proof that the money left them. But the bank claims that no refund request was issued from them...
So, keep in mind that you will never receive the money for the products you send as a return, from this terribly bad Chinese company!

Answer: There are free returns. Only one package return per order...so if you order 5 things you can return as many as you want but have to be sent in one package. If you buy say 7 items and return one and then a week or so later want to return other items from that same order you would have to pay for shipping on the second shipment...which makes sense since the company should not have to pay shipping on more packages than they sent.
