TemplateMonster are a pack of fraudsters. I paid $199 for the template customization service, and after 3 months and many attempts asking them to complete my work (with clear instructions), all they have done is load a logo I supplied them (and even that took 3 attempts to get correct in wordpress). Stay clear of these people, especially templates from DREAMIT. I raised a dispute for a refund, and templateMonster refused. Hopefully, PayPal can assist to retrieve the amount i paid, as I will show all evidence, emails and communication from TemplateMonster. I quote *. TemplateMonster are a pack of fraudsters. I paid for the all-inclusive web development package in February. It's now July and I don't have a website. I provided the content and it was just a cut and paste. No professionalism in placement. No edits. The website is plain white despite sharing the mood board colors. My home page reads " welcome to Turista" which is the name of the WordPress Template. Photos were posted even with the instructions I shared on their captioning. Total waste of money and time. I can't get my business licensed without a website. This is a whole disaster.

Total scam. Product delivered is not as advertised. I confirmed access to features, IN WRITING - before purchasing and was told after purchasing that it was considered an up charge. "Support" tells you to contact the author of the template. I was literally spoken down to and told I the problem was I wasn't capable enough to handle their product, which was advertised for "newbies."

I am very disappointed with TemplateMonster. I ordered a template. Unfortunately the template didn't work properly and I wanted my money back. I submitted the application within 2 hours after the purchase! There is no way to test the template beforehand. So you only know after buying it. No courtesy from TemplateMonster... won't let me cancel the purchase and the money is gone.

Very waste time on purchasing here. They doesn't implement OTP on the payment stage and request credit card photo from the clients, that's ridiculous! You need to communicate to online agent and email, waste 30 mins to complete the order.

I signed up for their ONE subscription over a year ago without signing on for auto-renewal. When the subscription ended, I did not want to renew because it was a nightmare - with their sales team promising what their tech team can't deliver. However, without pre-approval, they charged my card again for another year's subscription, and refused to give me the full refund which I have been demanding for this past 3 months, despite my not having used the subscription. I have been dealing with a Daniel Dawson who claims to be the boss, but does not bother to read his e-mails carefully, but parrots the company's "no refund" policy over and over again. Pity there is no negative star rating!

After discovering the theme I bought 5 minutes prior was not compatible with my webhost, critical errrors, I I directly contacted the seller that there were problems. Turns out they don't care and have a refund policy stating I need to spent my money on another product. As a consumer I am in my rights, the aforementioned problems were not stated and considered a flawed product on my behalf.

Make sure to check for other sites with good themes.

I had a very terrifying experience ever at the hands of TemplateMonster. The counter leagua theme I brought for thanksgiving 2021 turns out to be a barely functional gift. Not only I was required to buy elementor pro but I was also being let down by their support author and technical team. They kept defending themselves in the way they help customers and how elementor works which is not how is done. How can you customise a website when the posts section is locked and in order to unlock it, I will have to buy elementor pro. They say oh it's not necessary, there's no need to do this. My reaction is I had enough, I can't stand them and defend them long enough to realise it's not my fault. Instead, they're undermining my ability to get the best out of this theme that reflects poor business practices I've ever seen in this industry. And oh, try challenging them into a debate about a refund but they say oh this theme is 100% functional and editable, without the need of elementor pro or must require elementor pro to use the best of website experience. Oh wait, I'm still confused and they never advised customers through such clarity when advertising on their website. Other website template companies are well detailed, but TemplateMonster did absolute nothing and should alert customers when trying to sell their products. Once again, very unhelpful. I can't waste my time anymore over their incompetence, having brought another theme elsewhere and had to hire someone to complete my long-awaited project that TemplateMonster couldn't do within a week rather than trying to get TemplateMonster's help over the last four months without success. Now I'm falling way behind and having to rush through things when I wanted to experiment something new on my site, where I'll have to postpone for at least 1-2 months while I am going through a tough time right now by getting past the pain TemplateMonster ruined my project & also undermined my ability to use elementor over the last 4-5 months. This is the one and only time I have used this service, as I will never use TemplateMonster ever again.

Don’t buy anything ever from TemplateMonster, you’ll regret being stuck in a rut like myself when trying to request for refund if you’re confused about elementor.

Forced to keep theme without any functionality when it’s actually uneditable, despite template monster saying it’s fully functional without the need of elementor pro, and is unfortunately not true when Elementor pro is required to bring the best website customising experience.

You never get your money back even if the product doesn't work. And at some point you don't get any feedback from support at all. This borders on fraud.
And negative reviews about a product are suppressed.
I can only advise anyone not to buy anything there that they haven't had a chance to try out properly.

Order and I'm expected to sit here and wait til it is and on that grounds I'm being refused by the manager for my money back. AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS. Use and do yourselves a favour because the follow ups aren't as promised, the service is even worse and they're trying to argue a refund that I am 110% entitled to. I am so fed up tonight,, 3 hours I have spent with useless tech support, all I want to do is free up one license and buy 5 more... Its simply impossible 3 hours! And I am still in chat right now! It's ludicrous! REALLY guys spend your money elsewhere. The ONE model is a complete joke too do not get sucked into that trap and don't use it if you do as you won't get your money back. The whole thing has gone south this year I have no idea why they were fine once. But now they owe me 3 hours so I owe them plenty of reviews.

SCAM. BEWARE. This is an incredibly slow, incompetent service, it took ten days and 59 emails to install 60% of the template, not a whole template. They don't care about you, they don't answer questions, responses come in 5-7 hours or more, especially avoid Tyler Lyndale - etalon of incompetence.

I purchased the package that includes the theme, development and installation to upgrade my current website. Apparently, the project team does not work US hours. The back and forth email and things being lost in translation was unbearable. I had to finish the content and I ask template to publish the site. Well they published it maintenance mode and my old website and the new website went down. This impacted my business as the website was down for almost 24 hours. I tried to reach template monster customer service. What Customer service?, the voicemail is full and no one picks up. The worst company - I have lost almost $600 and I still don't have a new website. I will be reaching out to some consumer agency to report this fraud of a company.

Maybe their templates are good, but they lie about everything. They upsold me to buy their all-in-one package to install everything. Promised 5 business days. Then after 2 weeks almost nothing happened. Then they started feeding me with standard lame 'this-is-all-due-to-covid' excuses. 2 weeks later I still have no clue what the status of the project is.

I asked for a refund, they didn't give it to me saying they wanted a second chance to do it right. Now I regret giving them the second chance, because nothing has changed.

Creators, beware -- stay away from TemplateMonster unless you like wasting your own time. I sell over 100+ digital templates online and decided to give them a try (which was a huge mistake):

Their review process is incredibly slow, inconvenient, and arbitrary:

It takes over two weeks to receive any response after you first submit your products. The response is almost always to reject for nonsensical reasons like "wrong category'"(ie. They rejected a mockup bundle I submitted to the "Product Mockup" category saying it should go in "Graphics", which makes no sense).

Rather than simply changing the category of the existing submission, the TemplateMonster system requires that you completely re-submit products (filling out 15+ fields again) and gives you no place to copy my previous submission. This kind of UX design is blatantly disrespectful of creators' time and efforts.

When I reached out to TemplateMonster support about this onerous submission process, they responded by just confirming this was the only option:
"Unfortunately, if your products were rejected with the reason 'Resubmit the product to another category' you should upload it from scratch as there is no possible change the category. "

Rejected products show up as big red blocks that you cannot click, dismiss, or edit in your dashboard.

Don't waste your time with Template Monster; there are many far superior alternatives for online creative marketplaces.

I purchased their lifetime subscription for $529, but after 24 hours realized their WordPress themes had licensed plugins that required you to purchase an additional license to receive updates. I wanted to use this professional subscription for my clients, but I can't pass that cost on to them.

I requested a refund within 24 hours of the purchase and was denied because I downloaded 3 templates for testing purposes. They are not installed on any websites or live anywhere.

Terrible service, they could have easily refunded my money since I was so quick to test and request my money back after learning how bad their products are.

The worst! Would give 0 stars if I could. I am going to have to take legal action because I can't get ahold of anyone. I purchased a template and the All-in-one package from template monster (After chatting online with one of their sales/help reps and he convinced me this was a legit service) Their all-in-one is supposed to set up my template. I went through the template and created a document with detailed instructions on what to change to make the website my own. They not only took over a month, but they only changed my logo and a few labels and then told me everything else was an upcharge. And my logo is blurry on the site! THE WORST AND A RIP OFF. They need to be reported for fraud.

Was veteran customer of TM with 20+ orders, from the start of 2019 their attitude changed over support and pre-sales.No same discounts like before, they stopped respecting me as loyal customer.

They started asking for additional money, for additional premium support, to actually fix a bug on their template which was imported via their server.

For future purchases I recommend Theme Forest and small companies like Ancora Themes.

After having received a completely fraudulent product from them more than a year ago, their sales department tried contact me again to defraud me of more money. I told them on the phone to never contact me again, but they have since sent two additional e-mails that I am referring to law enforcement for criminal prosecution as harassment.

I am clueless why they would pursue this or risk a civil and criminal legal case against their company. But they did, so I will take every option legally open to me to prevent them from harassing or criminally defrauding anyone else.

We bought wordpress/woocommerce template (name FairyStyle) from Templatemonster.com. Paid to company JETIMPEX, INC who operate Templatemonster.com

They sold unworking / old version of software which not working with current releases of Wordpress 5 / Woocommerce 3.5 software. Templatemonster.com hidden information that template not updated / not supported by them for last two years and cannot use with current versions of Wordpress / Woocommerce software.
Purchased software files last time modified in May 2017 year (near two year ago!).

I am professional developer and my colleague, other professional developer, cannot install that template which we bought on our new server. We tried different ways but every time received message from Wordpress/Wocommerce that need to contact with author of software for receive updated version.

We spoke with Seller by phone - Seller confirmed that this software not working with latest version of Wordpress/Woccommerce and
Offer to use old version of Wordpress/Woccommerce. We don't agree on it. Nobody use old versions of Wordpress/Woccommerce because they have security issues and all sites recommend to update to latest version of software.
For example many articles on internet strongly recommend to update WooCommerce to versions 3. 4. 6 or higher (Versions 3. 4. 5 and earlier are affected by a handful of issues that allow Shop Managers to exceed their capabilities and perform malicious actions). But Seller told us to use version WooCommerce 3.0
