Healthcare costs are insane. TelMDFirst is surprisingly affordable, and the quality is great! Needed a quick refill, and it was so easy. Huge relief knowing I can get good care without going broke.

I was so skeptical about telemedicine. Like, really? But TelMDFirst is amazing! Had a nasty cough and got a virtual appointment within an hour. Doc was great, figured out what was wrong, and sent my prescription right over. So fast and easy. Totally impressed!

SCAM SERVICE

They lied to me for 2 days, never called me back. I completed all the forms, took pictures of the medication bottles, and they kept telling me the doctor was reviewing and they would send it as a priority which they never did. Do NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR INFORMATION OR MONEY. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB. Thanks to them my dad will not get his meds refilled

Way Better Than I Expected

Wasn't sure about telemedicine, but TelMDFirst was awesome. It wasn't just easy, the doc actually cared. Took the time to listen and explained everything really well. Felt way more heard than at some regular doctor's offices, tbh.

OMG, as a mom of two, doctor's appointments are basically impossible. TelMDFirst was a lifesaver! Booked a virtual visit during naptime, and the doc was amazing – super patient and actually listened. No more waiting rooms with germy kids! Seriously, game-changer.

False advertising

Enrolled in the monthly plan as described on the web page that you can pay $29 and some change for monthly care over the phone which includes unlimited visits. My first visit was great. My second visit was rushed and left me confused and I was told to make another for other issues. I go to set up a new appointment the next day and it did not allow me. When I called to ask why the woman told me that there are a limited two visits per month. This was not what the website promoted. This company promises more than it can deliver. I am a retired MD and came down with COVID. I needed Paxlovid and wanted to start ASAP. I bought an annual family membership based on their promises. After filling out the online form to schedule a telehealth consult, they said I would be contacted within 2 hours. Almost 19 hours later, and multiple chat posts, as well as phone messages left, I asked for a refund. They did provide that, at least. But I lost an entire day of treatment and had to find another provider to call in my prescription.
Save yourself time and frustration, look elsewhere for medical care.

I use this service often because they are extremely fast, highly professional and 'spot-on'in addressing and successfully treating my medical concerns. I have Insurance and can easily go to any doctor, but when I am sick, it's hard for me to drive, therefore the convenience of Telemedicine makes more sense.

Can't say enough about the service received. Start to finish was less than 30 min including the pharmacy being contacted with my script for strep throat. Questions asked were thoughtful and thorough. Def will use again! Btw my wife is a Pharmacist and she was impressed.

Never got a call back after paying 80.00

Called for my 14 yr old daughter while out of state on vacation. It took 2 hours for someone to call ( which I thought was a doctor and guess not). I could hardly understand her, spoke broken English. They said it would be about an hour for a call back after they reviewed her info and let us know about a prescription. HOURS later I finally found or the Dr assigned to get want in until 5pm Central time. Which was 1 hour before the pharmacy closed here in the state we were in. I called back 3 more times asking if they could hurry as the pharmacy was closing. They said they would send it over again letting them know of the closing time. I was told when they reviewed her stuff I would get a text letting me know. Here we are 24 hours later and still no text. Wasted our money! Thankful for the pharmacist at Walmart for helping as much as he could and guiding us for OTC meds to help. Don't waste your time money on this place!

My daughter had a severe whole body rash, and we only used the service because we are out of state in retrospect I shouldn't have! They initially said it would be two hours and then one more hour and then one more hour…. No, it was over five hours after we paid to get a response AND we NEVER even talked to a provider just received a text that said they thought she was fine and not to change anything. What a waste! As a nurse practitioner myself they must be jumping through some major hoops to make this even legal!

Waste of Time
December 16, 2023

Submitted my request at 11:04 pm MST. I received a message stating I would be contacted within 2 hours. I stayed up until 4:30 waiting. I tried to call text and email with no response. At 6:30 AM I got a text asking me to verify my Info since the patient was a minor. Text exchanges took over an hour for each response. At 9:53 AM they asked me which prescription I would like with a list of options. At 11 I asked if my prescription had been sent with no response. At 12:53 I finally was able to get someone on the phone and they said they would escalate my claim. It's now 3:49 and still have not heard from anyone and my prescription has not been sent yet. I have called 7 times to have them refund my money and after ringing for so long it just hangs up. Don't waste your time. I could have taken my child to the ER and been in and out faster than this and got more of a response for cheaper.

Initial consult went well and very responsive. Sent prescription to my pharmacist but they did not have the Nebulizer equipment that I needed for the medication prescribed. Texted, emailed customer service and called 4 times with a "I promise I will call you back" trying to get that prescription transferred. Still waiting. They are only good on the initial consult but if you need to get back in touch with them you will NOT be a priority or even a concern.

This site gets their money up front then their customer service goes out the window. They promised a call from a representative to discuss my health situation which never happened. Upon calling finally getting a representative they stated they had called which I assured they did not. I asked for a specific medication and they proscribed something else never calling to discuss this option. After specifically requesting a call I got a text from the provider tasting the benefits of the medicine she proscribed but stated she would call if I wanted to speak. She never called. They wore me out and the height of frustration upon further reviews there are many sites that offer the same crappy services for much less

This must be theeeee most u professional online doctors app i have ever seen in my life. I called at 2:45 pm its now 8 pm and nothing i got one message telling me they were "busy" this weekend. Payment was taken nothing delivered. I will be at my bank Tues morning to dispute this transaction and turning them in to whoever i need to. I could have went to the ER or urgent care for this matter!

Scam

I am now on day three of waiting to hear from a doctor, get a prescription, anything. On day one they called and took my information. Said a doctor would send my prescription within an hour. 24 hours later I had to call them. They said they were short on providers and would expedite my case. At 2:21 AM of all times they texted and asked for more information which was the same questions I was asked on day one. Tried using the online chat and just got one automated response. I called again today, day three, and asked for a refund so I can just go to the doctor. She said she was looking at my case. I waited in silence for four minutes then finally said HELLO? She immediately said yes ma'am I just processed your refund of $79.99. It will be 5-7 days before you see the credit. Seems suspicious and I'll be contacting my credit card company. Also, everyone I spoke with speaks broken English. Disgusting to take advantage of people, especially when they're sick!

Family plan may not be so great
December 6, 2023

I have two regular scripts. Thought I'd do the family plan as it allows 10 visits per year. Kiddos get flu, simple call in for a script. Great deal. Not so. I always had 3 month supply on my scripts as it's a heck of a savings over monthly. I asked. They WILL NOT FILL 3 months. The pharmacy can't reach out to them to get next script ready. I have to request the refill. No biggie. When I do call in to ask for refill they tell me I have to do a doctors consult EVERY MONTH. My "family plan" only allows 10 consults. So I don't even get a full year out of it for just my scripts. VERY MISLEADING.

Fraud

I paid to speak with a provider but they never would let me. They kept insisting to know the pharmacy where I picked up my blood pressure medications from last. What TelMDFirst is doing is having the pharmacy send a refill request to your original doctor and then your prescription is filled. You never need to go through TelMDFirst because you can do that yourself. I needed to speak with a provider and that didn't happen. This company is 100 % fraud. Once I caught on to what they were doing and told them they hung up on me.
