Ordered a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5 on the 28th Nov. I've used sites like this before (won't list incase review gets taken down). But I know delivery usually takes longer than expected and items will usually come from HK. I've ordered 2 sets of airpods and an iPad from similar companies before without issue.
Everything was fine, I was sent the Royal Mail tracking number. I knew it wouldn't work until it reached the UK and with strikes I expected even more delay. It arrived on the 9th Dec. However this is where the issues start.
After opening the packaging, which looked to be tampered with as it had cellotape all the way around the outside. I opened it to find out the headphones had been taken, leaving only the box, case and charging cable.
I contacted Techinthebasket immediately and had no reply in 4 days, going into the 5th.
I understand they may not have done this on purpose, but the fact is it's their issue to sort out and they aren't doing that.
So I'll be filing a dispute on PayPal and leaving reviews so people are aware of my experience.

I gave my phone for repair under full warranty and now they say the phone was artificial damaged. I replied to their email with this but still no reply.
You say there is artificial damage in the picture can you please send me which one of my pictures/ video part showed the damage was from my side. I would like to see which area is artificially damaged. When i showed it to Samsung before informing you they didnt mention any damage that was caused by me. So how come your experts are telling there is a damage. If there was a damage Samsung Store would have told me that immediately on the spot. There is a difference between a scratch and a damage. Please show me
They just replied. Without showing me any proof of where the artificial damage was with this. How can the company be this stubborn about taking money from their customer. Below is the reply they gave

They sent me a picture where the phone had marks and below i will attach the pictures of the phone how i sent it to them so idk how that mark popped up.

TITB refuse to refund my money, and just enter into an email tennis match.
It appears to be everyone's fault but theirs, and refuse to resolve the issue.

Dont order there unless you are willing to waste your time and money. The headphones I received were already broken when they arrived and I sent them back to UK asap. This has been 3 month ago and since then I didnt get my money back. Instead they are claiming that they can not find my packet since they receive hundreds of them per day so it would be my fault and I should contact DHL... Communication sucks since they use a AI based communication software so you talk to a robot :D , sometimes they answer, sometimes not. In total I lost around 250 EUR and around 3 hours of lifetime communicating so take my word as advise: DONT ORDER AT TECHINTHEBASKET.
I was a bit disappointed initially with my ordering experience, but the response was quick and exceeded my expectations. Thank you. Very responsive and friendly.

After my iPad stopped working within 2 years I contacted techinthebasket via email and got a very quick communication (from Jessica)... even stating "we will keep in touch with you until the process is completed"!
After sending in numerous photos of the box, iPad and receipt, as requested, I expected a response in a reasonable amount of time. I got a email quickly back to say they'd received the photos and I would hear back from them soon (from Jerleen).
This was on 3rd March and I've since heard nothing back.
I've sent numerous emails back and rung customer services number *******594. This just reads a message 3 times and hangs up.
They've obviously realised that the iPad was in perfect condition (as per the photos), I had the receipt, it was within the 2 years warranty and they just didn't want to refund or issue a replacement product, as this one was clearly faulty!
As a result the customer service contact just stopped!
I have all the email correspondence from them and from myself.
AVOID this company with such poor customer service!
I ordered one item as I was unsure whether the product would meet expectations. I am very pleased with the product and delivery service and will be purchasing more.
Bought a phone and sent it back for a refund. They are in China so it takes ages to get the refund and they keep 20% off the value of the item. Avoid them!
Love the phone and can't fault the price. As long as the price stays the same I'll be buying 2 more for my family. Great product and customer service was very reassuring.
Ordered a Nikon camera from this online company which turns out to be based in Hong Kong with London address of convenience.
Paid for item by PayPal however TechintheBasket / Digitalab Services Company / Shui Kin Bally Butt decided to place extra charges on top for which I had to go to PayPal to recover.
Provided with DPD tracking number with 3-6 working day delivery and elected via DPD site to have parcel delivered the following Wednesday. Waited in all day and no parcel. It turns out DPD had not even received parcel from TechintheBasket. TechintheBasket response was that they had taken two weeks holiday. So "Working Days" are their working days.
They have two "Helpline" numbers but don't bother wasting your time ringing them as they ring out with no option to leave a message.
I have no faith in claims of decent after sales service or claims of extended warranty so cancelled the order prior to delivery.
I would suggest that you give this company a wide berth. Pay a little more and be assured of receiving the genuine article, when you expect it and for the price you expect to pay.

I ordered some Sony wireless headphones from this company whom state they are UK based, if this was not stated I would not of ordered from them. They said delivery within 6-8 days. I contacted them via email after 10days as the tracking number is non existent. They ignored my 2emails so I contacted them through PayPal asking for a refund and why they have advertised ito be UK when they are in Hong Kong as I found this out after trying to get a phone number for them. There response onPayPal was tracking number is automatically given when purchased but not the right one saying there was problems with service on there end but they have been shipped. I replied with you are scammers and deceiving people as you state you are feeling n the UK. They responded with they cannot refund unless I return them so I said how can I return what I have not recieved. I have opened a dispute with PayPal. I have all photos of everything people like this should not be allowed to scam hard working people. And now my grandson won't get his Xmas present because of these thieves and they have no shame. By the way I have only given them a one star because I cannot post my review my honest scoring wis minus 100
Saved £60 on my Bose headphones and received them within 6 days - fantastic website. THE ROYAL MAIL TRACKING NUMBER DOES NOT WORK INITIALLY BUT JUST GIVE IT A FEW DAYS
It only takes 3 days from order to delivery, which is very fast and perfect, not like the experience mentioned by the negative reviews.

Answer: The same happened to me. I think they ship in from China and until they receive it in the UK, the tracking is on hold. I suggest you give it a little time (they do say 6-8 working days on their website)
