I purchased a redmi pad from this website brand new £140 within less than 40 days the screen came up with a number of lines. The website clearly says 2 years warranty and in fact ask you to pay extra for another year's warranty making it three years.
When you contact the email address is the most sole destroying experience ever they do not answer the question but answer something that you are not even asking them.
Your item will arrive but if you have any issues with it you will lose your money, I have been onto PayPal and even they said they cannot raise a dispute as it's over 30 days.
Item was returned after one month of emails and now they calim not to have recieved the parcel depite it being signed for
Completely awful that this company is still allowed to operate despite being dissolved therefore you have no legal recourse.
Still waiting for a refund that was promised a month ago. I get the same excuses in every email… we have passed this on to our accountant/finance team. Someone will get back to you in 24/48 hours - they never do.
This company sells absolute rubbish and has horrific customer service! I'm still down £160 after being told a month ago that my refund had been processed and to allow 72 hours for it to show. Lies.

Techinthebasket is a scam! They sell defective electronics, then do not honor their warranties. I purchased a phone from them. It was defective. I returned it for repair or replacement. It's now been several months. At one point, they tried to get me to give them more money to return it, but now they won't reply to my emails. Total scam!
Appalling communication and extremely poor customer service. No delivery information and then apparently 2 attempted deliveries by DPD which one of them mysteriously never appeared on our CCTV. Techinthebasket then requested the return to them of
My iPad without any notification to me. It took numerous emails to find when I would be refunded and still today 3 weeks after ordering they still have my money. I am told it will be 3-7 more working days before I am refunded. I would never use them again and wouldn't recommend to anyone!
My Samsung A51 suddenly stopped working and just had a blank screen. I contacted 'Techinthebasket' and was told that the phone was still under I should send phone details and photos/video of phone.
I did this and from that moment onward there was no warranty help or communication at all for a few months. I then wrote again and they simply told me to go to Samsung and take it up with them. As the retailer of the Phone they have a legal obligation to sort this out themselves. They have not!
Beware of the FALSE 24 Month warranty offer on there website, they do not honor this and this company is based in Hong Kong. Buyer beware.
I ordered airpods for my daughter for Christmas on the 9/12/22 they arrived this afternoon. After reading bad reviews I was unsure if I would get them can't fault the company communication was brilliant thanks again
I ordered a nitendo switch for my daughters birthday which i never received, after checking tracking it was left in my front garden (plant pot) with out authorisation & wasn't secure. Contacted tech in the basket & they said it wasn't there problem as it was delivered but clearly it wasn't, there customer service was very rude & ignorant. Avoid at all costs, my daughters birthday was ruined & im £136 out of pocket
I have not had a good experience with titb. Firstly I waited a stupid amount of time for an ipad to come. And when it did come it was not the same colour as I ordered from the website. I want to send it back and they are making ME pay postage with tracking etc. They've offered me a £15 discount to keep it! I paid £15.99 for their insurance on shipping ipad to me and of course it took an age to arrive, I didn't think they were going to send it. Communication with them is terrible. They are now saying my 'Insurance' was postage, but postage is free. Avoid these people at all costs.I only have Pay Pal as proof of purchase as titb did send anything.Thank god I paid through Pay Pal.
The address provided looked far from being a legit address to send my headphones for repair. Have just taken a look at some reviews and yep the 'penny has now dropped' my experience to date supports the many comments as to how bad your Customer Service is and the fact that my headphones have a fault so quickly after my buying them also supports your selling goods that have a fault with them.
The quote that I received from Sony themselves to repair the headphones was practically the cost of a new pair of headphones, says it all really.
Needless to say I will not be buying anything from TITB in the future.

Sent a mail over 2 weeks ago asking for the address for my headphones to be repaired under warranty and in what is becoming the norm for Techinthebasket zero response.
Any chance of someone letting me have an address pretty please.
Scam site. DO NOT USE. They set up two fake deliveries stating no-one was home, when there was on both occasions. DPD, the delivery company is impossible to reach after the first phone call. Techinthebasket do not respond to emails. They sent one email stating my funds would be refunded. That was a month ago. Complete sham site. DO NO USE. You have been warned.
Bought a iPad Air, it never arrived, tracking numbers they give don't work, still fighting for my refund now have had to get PayPal involved to get my money back. I should have done my homework before using this terrible company, be warned

Galaxy Watch 4, GPS stopped working! After talking with support, they offered to send them a watch for a test. Since the warranty period has not yet expired. After 1 month of testing, the store admitted that the watch was defective and could not be repaired and offered me a replacement, to send the same watch.
I agreed. The watch was sent, BUT in an open box and used. There are signs of wearing on the strap and scratches inside the strap holder. I wrote to support and attached a photo. The store is no longer in contact! Terrible service! I do not recommend ordering!
Avoid it if you can. Be aware if you want to return something that the company allegedly withholds 10% of your money.
It has not been written anywhere. Moreover, the received item even was not opened. While waiting for a week for the delivery, bought it somewhere else, and therefore do not needed anymore.
Generally, they are not happy if the subject "returns" is raised. It sounds like the company is very dishonest with customers.
We purchased apple ear buds and paid for an extended warranty. The warranty covered repair or replacement. They developed a fault and we returned them as instructed however Tech in the basket have refused to repair or replace them and have offered 50% of the purchase price.
We rejected their offer and now they are not replying to our emails.
The phone number listed is a mobile and no-one answers so that is a waste of time.
Such a shame for this company to get a poor review for something they could easily resolve
I received my order for a Nintendo switch late, I had to chase it several times before it was finally sent, when it arrived the box is damaged beyond belief, the box has been opened before, it has no security tag or plastic wrapper, it looks used. 100% will be returning and getting my money back and will never use them again.
FRAUD COMPANY. I BOUGHT A NEW PHONE IN THE MONTH OF JUNE 2022. THEY SENT ME A FAULTY PHONE WHICH I RETURNED THEM WITH IN 30 DAYS. AS PER RETURN POLICY, THEY SHOULD REFUND ME FULL. THEY FORCED ME TO PAY FOR THE RETURN POSTAGE AS WELL. BUT, AFTER STRUGGLING WITH THEM FOR 3-4 MONTHS. TODAY, 02 NOVEMBER 2022, THEY REFUNDED ONLY £300 AND DEDUCTED £287.99. I PAID THEM £587.99. VERY VERY VERY POOR AND FRAUD COMPANY. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.
Order and payment confirmed immediately and informed awaiting dispatched. Shipping traceable. Only complaint was that I could not get an estimated delivery date in advance even though requested by email. Just had to let things take their course.

I bought some Air Pods at the start of Fed. An email confirmation came through quickly with a tracking number (worryingly quickly looking back on it now...).
After hearing nothing after the above email. I tried to use the tracking number on numerous occasions to be told it does not exist. I chased CS who instantly blamed Royal Mail for issues with delivery - have read other reviews it seems there go to excuse.
While always quick to respond its all pretty irrelevant when they don't deliver to there promise. I had been told i would receive my order on Friday. To now be told i wont (after yet another chase).
I have no confidence in the Air Pods getting to me. The only fall back is that the purchase through pay pal so should be able to get a refund if needed.
I expect to get a response on here as they seem to care more about that than looking after their customers.
Do not use Techinthebasket.
I have paid for a phone which after nearly a month has arrived. I believe it has never been dispatched. Ongoing contact is only via email, and there replies are computer generated.
Save your money and shop elsewhere

I ordered a Samsung phone from Techinthebasket, with a 6 - 8 day delivery. So far, 13 working days later, there is no evidence that the phone has been dispatched. I have corresponded with Techinthebasket by email daily and am frustrated by the constant excuses about why the phone has not been dispatched. I have asked for a refund and again get a series of complicated responses but no refund and no phone.
The emails seem to be computer generated and come from Hong Kong so the time difference also makes communication difficult.
I would NOT recommend buying from Techinthebasket.
Answer: The same happened to me. I think they ship in from China and until they receive it in the UK, the tracking is on hold. I suggest you give it a little time (they do say 6-8 working days on their website)
