They charge your credit card immediately, create a label, then sit on it for weeks. It's 4/2/19 and I'm still waiting on an order placed 3/11/19.
Like everyone else on here they take your money but don't deliver your product. I've contacted them 3 times and not one response back. I wish I would have read the reviews first.
My order was placed 1 week ago. This sham of a company received payment promptly and issued a UPS tracking number by the following day. To date, nothing has shipped. I've emailed more than once to no avail-there's only automated responses with promise to get back to you but no one care to contact you. I called and immediately receive an automated message which instruct me to contact via email, so here I am with NO ONE from TalDepot available to address status of my order. What type of business is this?
My frustration level grew as I'm left to wonder whether I will ever receive my order or will anyone has the common business principle, decency, and courtesy to at least respond to my email inquiries. I had to contact "Amazon Pay" to file a complaint. Even doing so will take a waiting period before a formal complaint can be filed. TalDepot, you cannot treat your customers like trash. Without customers you have no business. I don't understand the rating on BBB--something's just not right. Because if this is the way you run a business and get away with doing this, there need to be a thorough investigation.
Why list the product as available and not ship it?
Why ignore phone calls & emails?
Why refuse to address concerns and inquiries regarding my order?
Why issue a tracking # and not ship the order?
Utterly Frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable business practices.
As with everyone else who is real on this site, they charged my card and didn't deliver product.
Something has to be done to stop companies like this.
I never received my order. No response from Customer Service. No refund. They can't even give a credible link to FedEx. Shipping status shows a label was produced.
After reviewing all the complaints under BBB I know that is not an oversite by Tal Depot and I will file dispute with my credit card. I placed order # ******* on 9/28/18 and after not receiving a confirmation that my order has been shipped I contacted Tal Depot on 10/2. When speaking to customer service I found that they also have no way of reaching the warehouse and they can only contact Tal Depot through email. So I also send an email and received a message from Tim ID#******* on 10/5/18 stating he was going to looking into my order. When not receiving order confirmation of shipment I email again on 10/9/18 and Tim ID# ******* replied again saying he was sorry and would look into my order and get back to me. Today 10/11/18 and still no order or email as to when I will be receiving. At this point I am cancelling with credit card company and will not contact them or do business with them.
Ordered based on lowest price, failed to search for any reviews.
Order on 12-20, immediately get a tracking number. 6 days later, still only showing that a label has been created. No word as to status, back order, etc.
Contact customer service, get what I find is the standard reply from "Ian": 'We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused by this rare, unusual situation.'
Not a word from Ian for a full day...follow up with him..still no response.
Second follow up, I ask that I have a resolution by end of day, 12-28, or I file a paypal claim. Of course, no word.
File a complaint with paypal on 12-29.
Today, 12-30, I receive this message:
Hi XXX:Thank you for ordering from us, we greatly appreciate your business. While processing your order we got notice that the product on your order was unfortunately on back order and unable to be sent to you.I will go ahead and refund you in full for this order. We are very sorry for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience on this matter.

So if you're wondering if all those 1 star reviews are legit, trust me, they are.
I submitted this same review on the TalDepot website, with a one star rating..my bet is, it will never be shown, as every review there is 5 stars. That says it all. These guys are as bad as it gets when it comes to online vendors.
2/6/18 I placed order
2/8/18 I received email with subject line Your order is on its way.
2/15/18 I contacted TalDepot because I cannot track the order
2/16/18 TalDepot advised me that there is a backorder
2/18/18 I cancelled the order, which TalDepot acknowledged and said they would process
2/19/18 I am advised that the order is enroute and am asked if I still want it. I reply that I do NOT want the merchandise anymore.
3/7/18 I receive email that my ENTIRE order has been delivered. I arrive home to find a PARTIAL order on my doorstep.
3/10/18 Fed Ex arrived to pick up the packages (plural). They retrieved the single package that was delivered and not opened.
I have never seen such incompetent handling of a simple order. It's now 3/12/18 and they are still sending me emails.
This company completely scammed and fooled my fiancée and I. We placed and order over a month ago for Tate's cookies for our wedding favors. After multiple attempts we still don't have our cookies and our wedding is 4 days away. We have no wedding favors for our guest because we relied on these people to send our order. Please everyone don't purchase anything from these scam artists. These reviews are real and I already filled a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. New12 will shortly will be doing a report on Tal Depot ripping people off. Thanks Tal Depot for dissapointing my future Bridge and guests.
I placed a substantial order with Tal Depot and received an email confirmation. They also immediately withdrew the sum of the order from my debit account. Six days later, after hearing nothing from them, I checked the status of my order on their website and saw that a UPS tracking number has been created but UPS had not yet receive the package.
I called their customer service line but could only leave a voice message. I also sent an email summarizing my order details and asked why my order had not been sent. Three days later I received an email saying that they were looking into the issue. These all sounded like stalling tactics.
Twelve days later and still no response or delivery of my order, I checked their website and noted that they had marked my order "COMPLETE."
I contacted my bank to dispute the charge. The bank successfully contacted Tal Depot, and the following day I received an email from Tal Depot saying that their distribution team was unable to ship your order due to the products being out of stock, and they were refunding my money.
Their lack of communication makes me think that Tal Depot would have kept my money and not shipped my order had my bank not called them. However, I give Tal Depot a small amount of credit for returning my money. They may not be dishonest, but their customer support is terrible. I would not recommend purchasing any product from them.
I was charged instantly but never got my order, zero customer service. Filed with BBB. Do not order from this site.
THIS COMPANY IS BEYOND HORRIBLE! Took almost a week to even get an update on my order. Then only after I contacted them did they reply via email and told me that the order was processed and shipped and that I would receive it by 11/21/18 end of day. They even provided me with a UPS Tracking number. Tracking number always showed label created, but no shipping information. Sent another email inquiring about this and am now told that item is unavailable and never shipped as it is on backorder. How nice, considering I planned to use this for a Holiday Desert on Thanksgiving! Would NEVER use this company ever again, and DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL. STAY AWAY.
Tal Depot did the same thing to me issue you a order number then you never hear from them number's disconnected I should have done my homework but I got a hold of the BBB New York and the Federal Trade Commission just to try to make them stop ripping off consumers next time check all reviews but really we have to stick together when they're ripping everyone off
Never received my item after FED EX said it was delivered. I have contacted them numerous times with NO HELP. Excuse after Excuse. They take your money and your left with nothing. What a joke.
I place an order of 2 items and after 15 days TalDepot did not had ship the items. Even worst I called 3 times and the girl that answer the phone could not tell me if they actually had the product to send to me. It seems to me that the girl over the phone works from her home. She had to e-mail her boss so he could call me witch he never did. I request a refund and I only got my refund after making a complaint at Better Business Bureau. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
Just check and they filed for bankruptcy! We all got screwed! Filed two days after I placed order. They knew what they were doing!
I placed an order April 9th. Contacted them by email or phone and never got a response and phone not working! Scam!
Two weeks and still no product. I had to request an update after a week because I had received no shipping info. Who wants to wait weeks for a product?
