I recently bought my Nexus 6 on swappa. I paid 1/3 of what one goes for brand new off of Google's website and about half of what it goes for on eBay or Amazon. Start to finish to purchase and receive phone was about 3 days. They use PayPal for buyer and seller protection, charge a 10$ sale fee that is already included in seller price along with shipping. Swappa staff check esn, and give the seller a code that has to be included in screen shot of device on, so you know the phone at least turns on and isn't banned for being stolen or an insurance claim. The site manages their sales well so there are no worries about getting a bad phone. Although if you pay with paypal (which some sellers require) there is a $10 fee that is unmentioned until you actually pay with paypal.
Overall I am pleased with Swappa! There was a communications lag from the seller to me, the buyer and Swappa staff stepped in and helped keep me at ease while forcing the hand of the seller to move things along in the right direction. The seller made a few errors but I am pleased with Swappa.
I have been a Swappa user for a few years. After numerous transactions, both as a buyer and seller, I've had 1 problem that was handled quickly, honestly, and fairly. No junk, blacklisted phones, and with Paypal protection, you can't go wrong. If you ever got ripped off with a cell phone transaction Swappa will restore your faith in completing an honest transaction. Excellent site, and highly recommended. Give it a try. You won't be sorry.
