I gave the company a chance despite the negative reviews, thinking that the worst case scenario would be returning them and having them remade. Then I realized that I had to pay half the price of my order in import duties alone. Customers are also responsible for the return shipping fees. I am doubtful that the clothes are even custom made, the articles I received fit me exactly the same way that the same articles would fit me at any store. Expensive and very disappointing.

I ordered a custom-made duffel coat. It's the worst quality coat I have ever purchased, so much so that I am writing this review. Not only was it extremely poor quality, but the elbow patches were literally 2 inches from my shoulders, not even close to reaching my elbows even though I gave them all of the measurements necessary. There were loose threads all over, and it was generally very poorly constructed. To be honest, I don't even think it was symmetrical. The "belt" in the back was only attached by one strand of string from the buttons. I sent pictures to them and they recommended I take it to a tailor to have it repaired that isn't even located near where I live. When I told them the "repairs" necessary would only damage the coat further, they refused to issue a refund. They were only willing to make me another poor quality coat. So that's $450 down the drain.

I ordered pants from this company that came in MASSIVE. I'm not positive whether the measurements were inaccurate or whether the company was incompetent, but I'm starting to suspect the latter. The pants were so large that the tailor I took them to had trouble bringing them in enough to fit. I ended up having to send them back and request they remake them with new measurements done with the tailor. Sumissura sent back new pants made from the first set of measurements that were - again - massive, and told me they wouldn't remake them and that I needed to get them tailored. Now they're unresponsive to my requests. Do not trust this company!

I ordered a pair of trousers in a fabric that was listed as stretch. The pants that arrived were 100% polyester, which has no stretch at all. They told me I could take it to a tailor and bill them the cost, however no tailor can fix stretch vs no stretch. There was a protracted stand off over email, I received no compensation despite them admitting that they had corrected the listing for the fabric. Complete waste of $100.

The ordering process and delivery was oaky, no issues. I ordered a woman's cobalt blue pant suit and 2 custom shirts. Total with black friday sale discount was $470. The custom shirts are okay, but the pant suit is such a poor fit, it is laughable. Customer service said to take it to a tailor -- the 1st tailor i went to would NOT even quote me a price -- he said that it was so poorly constructed that it had no layers or support to even tailor the jacket properly. The next tailor quoted me $240 just for the jacket and confessed that even still it would not fix the gathering issues in the front of the jacket -- because again no layers of fabric constructing the jacket to give it that fitted look. It's cheap thin material with a thin cheap lining and that's it! And the pants came with NO lining and are HUGE! Still kind of shocked at how bad it is. Off the rack is way better than what you get from this company. Save your money! Their customer service is giving me the run around and they are slow to answer but quick to tell me that there is a 30 day clock running on me to get the tailor invoice in to them or i just "lost out". Nevermind that they are only going to reimburse me 25% of the cost of the suit originally for any alterations that I want. 25% does NOT cover half of what I am being quoted to get this fixed! I feel like such sucker. Never again, and I hope this saves someone else the trouble, hassle and the money. K

I purchased a dress from this company. The first time I received the dress it was so tight in the hips and so big in the stomach-like for a near full-term pregnancy. I returned the dress, confirm the measurements with Customer Service and received a "fixed" dress. Unfortunately, the dress wasn't fixed and it was as ill fitting as the first and second attempt. I reached out to Customer Service and they told me to take it to a tailor to have it altered. The tailor told me it wasn't worth fixing. I reported this back to Sumissura who told me to take it to another alteration shop. I asked again for a refund and they told me the best I could do was give me 20% off.

They fit, but the stitching quality is absolute crap and is disintegrating after two wearings. The belt loop died on the first wearing with a tiny belt, and both legs' hems let go on the second wearing! The company do stick to their 30-days-and-you're-out-of-luck policy and offered credit on my next purchase (as if!) when I go get them fixed myself. The design was not that cute, nothing like cigarette pants, which is why I only wore them once in the 30 days.

I have purchased 3 skirt suits, two extra blazers and two dresses over several years. Top quality workmanship. Pure wool, pure cotton, pure linen or synthetic blends - your choice. Lining is good quality as well. Clear fabric information to choose from. Easy website to design the clothing (I choose the "advanced version" designer - instead of the simplified one). It is often difficult to find well made, stylish clothing for plus size women. I have never been disappointed.

I sent precise measurements and the suit fit terribly. The quality and stitching is also very poor. I asked for a refund and was told they only give up to 25% of the value WITH a receipt from a tailor. I had to leave town for an emergency because my mom was diagnosed with cancer and had surgery and I needed to care for her. I asked them to help simplify the process and just issue the 25% refund without the hoops so I could wrap this issue up and focus on my mom and they refused. They offered me 20% of the value as CREDIT instead. Terrible business. Do not give them your money.

I've given them a few chances. One blazer came out perfect. In the same order the jacket was 5 inches too small and the pants were 5 sizes too big. The next order (same measurements) they sent a jacket that was 4 inches too small. Each time something goes wrong they ask you to send pictures of your measurements. You have to have someone available to hold the measuring tape and take the picture. So if you don't. Don't order from them. Even after you send the exact same measurements that you uploaded - they still don't make the jacket or pants right. This has been going on for months. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company.
This company is also based in China. They give you the impression that they are based in Europe but they are not. They even had me send my jacket back to New York one time. FedEx sent it back to me saying the address was not theirs and it was refused. A waste of 20 dollars.
Save time and order from a reputable company and just get it tailored. This stuff isn't worth hassle. The quality isn't even that good.

I ordered 2 dresses and 2 jackets. They came back more than 2 months later and they were nothing like it was made for me. I contacted them for a solution and they told me first to go to a tailor for a quote to get it fixed. I did but then they said it was too expensive. They asked for pictures - pictures of all sides THAT I HAVE SENT TWICE. Now I received an email saying they have closed my ticket as I didnt respond! I responded multiple times (with receipts) for the same requests. They are scam artists! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!

I will never use Sumissura again - the workmanship was terrible, material looked cheap and not like it did on website

There is no customer service phone number. That should tell you everything you need to know. I ordered fabric samples from them more than 60 days ago and have not received them. I tried the live chat but it's a BOT with no ability to assist. The email communication is slow and despite a reply to my concern, no fabric samples have been delivered yet. If they cannot deliver fabric samples in a reasonable amount of time what happens when you make a fully customized order? I'm not willing to give them $500 to find out.

Unfortunately the quality and customer service both seem to have gone down over the years. I am 6'2" and used to rely on Sumissura for quality garments that actually fit my frame. Unfortunately I recently received a blazer which was entirely unwearable (looks like I am borrowing a blazer from someone twice my size - not exactly the point of custom clothing), despite using the same measurements from a prior order of a similar Sumissura blazer which fits perfectly. After taking it to the tailor (who helped the situation somewhat), they offered me a refund primarily in the form of store credit as I had used a gift card for $100 of the $279 order, despite their own policy stating that they would refund up to 25% the garment price for the cost of the tailor to my credit card up to the amount paid on the card. The customer service representative I have been speaking to has sadly been largely unhelpful and quite rude. Probably won't be shopping here in the future, which is a great loss as they used to produce quality, great fitting products.

I was very excited about ordering a coat that fit perfectly, that I could design myself. I filled in all the forms honestly, including my height, weight, and age, which they turned into measurements. I double-checked them and they were very close to accurate, which impressed me.
What arrived was beautiful. I had no issue with the tailoring. But that coat was not made to fit me. I was practically stuffed into it. The only place it fit was in the shoulders. I had lost a few pounds, so it actually should have been a little loose.
There is a handy place on their site for opening a ticked that shows what pictures to upload, so I did all that and got an email fairly quickly. They requested that I send the coat back, which cost a little less than $25. They also asked me to re-measure, just to make sure the mistake wasn't there. All the original measurements were within 1/4" of the new ones.
Then I waited. It took a month to get the new coat back. Meanwhile, they sent me emails assuring me the new one would fit perfectly. I'm embarrassed to even take a picture because the fit is just so horribly wrong. It looks like all they did was add 2" to every measurement from the first coat, including the shoulders. Now the shoulders hang down over my arms and there's a strange sort of wrinkle down the back under the arms. I doubt that coat would fit anyone. The shape is just all wrong.
I would have to take the coat to a tailor to get it fitted correctly, which would supposedly be reimbursed by Sumissura. I'm not convinced it's fixable, though, and I have spent enough time, energy, and money on this disaster. I am certainly not going to spend more money that I may never get back.
I emailed and told them how unhappy I am with the coat and they never replied.
The only positive thing about this experience is that I will no longer wonder what it's like to have them make me a coat. I know, and it's not good. I'm also very glad I didn't order the more expensive fabric or extra linings because they do not give refunds at all! This is not a company I would recommend to anyone under any circumstances. I am out $239 for the coat plus the cost of shipping it back. Lesson learned.

This is a fraudulent company located somewhere in China! They offer terrible products with even worse customer satisfaction. They boast a guarantee that their garments will fit or they correct. None of this will happen as they have no telephone contact or contact person. They only have a generic email address to send issues to which no one will respond to. If a response is gotten, it will be very generic. Run very far from this company! Their clothing is poorly made and wrong tailoring. Absolute shame the way they scam consumers in US and other countries!

Dishonest. Perfect fit guarantee is not true.

They will make you pay to shop the garment back to China before they will make any new clothes for you. Avoid this business. I had a terrible experience

The 2 pairs of trousers were at least 4 sizes larger than what I was supposed to get.
Despite the photos, I had to ship them back these trousers (at my own expense).
They sent me new ones, but this time they are only one size too large, which will allow my local tailor to do something to fix them. Furthermore, one pair was supposed to be tapered and adjusted on the legs but what they sent me are straight wide pants, which do not match at all the photos depicting what they were selling. They do not look good at all. I will have to pay another 50$ per pair of pants to get them adjusted. So far I paid Sumissura 300$ CAD for the 2 pairs of pants, plus 80$ in custom fees + 30$ in shipping fees and now I'll have to pay 100$ to get these trousers to fit me.
