The worst fitting suit ever.

I had my measurements confirmed by a local tailor and they still didn't get it right. After getting their "fit guarantee" and taking it to a local tailor (who laughed when they saw how bad the sizing was), I was told that Sumissura would only reimburse up to 25%.

Needless to say I won't purchase from this company again and will be reviewing them on as many websites as I possibly can.

Chinese manufacturing at its finest.

I cannot express how wonderful it is to have a tailored suit made out of quality material. I went for linen. I am impressed by the sewing. The lining material in the jacket is well chosen also. And the cherry on top is the dress shirt. I have broad shoulders and a long waist so really a tailored look was not going to happen for me off the rack. It is so nice to put on clothes that are beautiful and made just for me. The customer service was great also. I highly recommend. I will note that the pants are unlined - that is fine for this summer suit, but I will ask for my winter suits to have lined pants by sending an email to customer service upon ordering.

BUYER BEWARE. You get what you pay for. This suit was advertised as 70% wool and it's absolutely not. Plus, it's so cheaply and hastily made that you can literally see the sewing pattern on the inside of the jacket (with patches and sloppy white thread, where they put the jacket together). The monogram on the inside was YELLOW -- who puts a yellow monogram on a tux jacket? Wth. The company won't refund my money. Filed a dispute with my bank... ABSOLUTELY DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

The suits ARE made to fit your measurements. I am short, overweight, and not easy to fit. The suits I have ordered all were very well fitting for my unique issues. After the first one, I knew to adjust my measurements a half inch here and there to get an even better fit each time, as I lose or gain weight, or want something shorter or longer. You feel very formal and fancy in their clothes. Quality is good. They arrive very fast. The last suit I ordered have a single button jacket, button was oddly high. I went back and looked to find I had put in an incorrect measurement that affected the location of the button. It was my fault. Like anything you order from the internet that is custom and non returnable, there is a little risk and these are not cheap. But I get a load of compliments every time I wear one of these suits.

I have ordered suits in the past from other companies, and experienced what people are saying, l wrong color, but not from this company.

I ordered a suit online giving very precise neasurements. The suit was delivered and the sizing was all wrong--the pants ridiculously right and short, the jacket bulky. I took it to my tailor who said that because of the "strange" way it was made, he wouldnt be able to fix it. So I arranged to have it sent back. I emailed the company who refused to ask for all info in one email--instead I received multiple emails requesting additional information from me like an annoying riddle. Finally, after paying for shipping myself, I sent the items back. I received another go at it. The jacket was sufficient, not great, the pants were weirdly proportioned--the pants had a huge area between the crotch and the top of the pant, creating a weird fold in the front pelvic area. Again, my tailor said he could not fix because of the odd proportions, so I went through the whole return process again, was forced to pay for shipping, and received a pair of pants that were sufficient, but not great. The suit overall looks fine, but I was hoping for better. And it ultimately took about 4 months after my initial order to receive a wearable suit.

I'm a bit skeptical about the quality of the stitching based on what my tailor said, but I've only worn it once. But so far it has held together. We shall see.

The website and ordering process is very slick and easy. Fun actually. But the end result product was not what I expected. The jacket had a flare in the back that was not as pictured or described, the pants were too short and the color not even close. The material was lovely and I really wanted the suit to work. I asked if they could remake just the jacket and retailor the pants but the back and forth became unreasonable resulting in a wasted $400 and so much time that I will never get back. I would have rather spent the time cutting my own hair and then the money paying to fix it! The suit went to goodwill so I can only hope someone gets use out of it.

I am so impressed with Sumissura. The ordering process was super simple, the order arrived ahead of the expected delivery date, and the suit came out just perfect! The fit is amazing and the quality is beautiful. Not only that, but I contacted customer service regarding a very small additional alteration that I needed and they informed me that once I get the alteration done locally, I can send them the receipt and they will provide me with a refund the alterations cost up to a 25% of the product value. Wow! I reached out to them twice since my initial order and heard back from them both times within a day. As if the amazing suit itself wasn't enough, the customer service just put Sumissura to the top! I will definitely order from them again :)

Sumisurra is a total scam! Here are some of the issues I had:

1. The quality is absolutely pathetic. You could easily rip the pants with your hands, and they almost feel like pajama pants. You could get better quality at Banana Republic, Nordstrom Rack etc. for way cheaper. Manufactured in Shanghai and says it on the box!
2. The fit is terrible - despite taking exact measurements! I took my measurements according to the video and the fit on the pants was horrendous. They barely stay up on me and they were supposed to be slim fit!
3. The customer service is horrible! They do not refund you for any reason, despite knowing that they are basically scamming you (this is equivalent to those scam Chinese companies that show one picture on their website and give you something else). All they do is offer to pay for your tailoring (why would I want to spend more time on this horrible garment?) or offer to ship you another one (the quality is terrible, don't even care if the fit is any good because the suit is cheap looking),

Truly a scam organization, I will be taking legal action.

I enjoyed the process of deciding the features I wanted my new coat to have and took considerable time to make up my mind. I was curious to see what the quality would be like and a little sceptical that the coat would accurately reflect my size using only my measurements as guidance. I waited with anticipation for its arrival and when it came yesterday I was absolutely delighted with it. The fabrics are beautiful and very good quality, the finish is detailed and complete and the fit is perfect. The minute I put it on it felt really good. I am so pleased with it I want everyone to know about this fantastic service. My new coat literally fits like a very well made glove and I look forward to wearing it everywhere to show it off!

I am a 6 foot female slightly overweight I go in a shop in Königstein, they look at me an say, we have nothing for you! I preferred to live in the US because the choice for my size is satisfactory for clothes and shoes. To look for professional clothing and shoes in Germany for my size is a constant source of frustration, I am glad to have found Sumissura, the suit fits perfectly! Thank you! I can recommend Sumissura and its customer service!

When the suit first came in, it was 3 sizes too big, despite supposedly being "custom made". The material was coarse and thick, nothing like the fabric descriptions. I will say that customer service was great, very swift and helpful, but the product itself is just not worth the money. With the same amount of money, you could get a good off-the-rack suit and tailor it.

You won't get the suit you want from this company. Your money goes a lot further elsewhere.

I didn't expect to receive my jacket so quickly. And it was packaged in fancy paper - nice touch.

This is my first time ordering handmade custom clothes and I am really impressed with Sumissura.

My measurements are odd (I have a large chest and smaller waist). No ready to wear jacket fits me right - it's either too tight around the chest and arms or it won't button in the front or it's "square" shaped. I always have to get them altered.

Sumissura took my measurements, made my jacket and it fit right away. No alterations needed. And I received it within 2 weeks.

I don't like to write bad reviews about places, usually preferring to give them the benefit of the doubt and remember that everyone makes mistakes, but I truly don't want anyone to have the same experience as me so if this review prevents that then it's worth it.

A group of five of us ordered custom suits for a wedding. I was very nervous about the concept so I had my measurements taken by a tailor so I would be absolutely sure they were correct. My suit came and I was terribly disappointed. The waist was several inches too big, which likely makes sense because they never actually ask for your waist measurement, just your "stomach". The crotch goes way too low and makes the rest of the leg sit all wrong. They are unlined and a very strange, cheap fabric. There is absolutely no give so i'm very worried they're going to rip on the dance floor. I haven't even tried sitting down in them because i'm too nervous.

The jacket sleeves were way too long and again the bottom of the armpit hangs way too low. They also had fake buttons - the cuffs are sewed shut and the buttons are just for pretend.

Customer service was very responsive and they are refunding the bill for tailoring, but they make frustrating insinuations in their email correspondence that the mistake was on your end - direct quote "Rememeber that you can update your measurements in your user account, so you can avoid measurements mistakes in future orders." As I said, I had my measurements taken by a tailor, and had previously told them that, so I didn't appreciate being made to feel like the issue was my fault when it wasn't.

Even after being tailored i just want to cry when i put it on. If you have very fine attention to detail then i do not recommend ordering a suit from them. If you are not too particular and don't care too much about the little things then maybe this would work for you.

They just sent oversized clothes (a shirt and a pant in my case) and then told me to go to a "local taylor" (as if I had one) to make them customized again at my actual size. Furthermore, they will only refund 25% of these made in China clothes price... So if indeed you are lucky enough to have a cheap taylor at your door, just make him directly build your clothes and don't ask Sumissura to work on it, you will save time and money this way.
