I paid $560 for a woman's skirt suit. I select the desired lining. The suit jacket was received with two different materials used for the lining. When I tried to get this corrected, I was told that the white striped lining used on the sleeves was their standard lining. When I stated that another suit I ordered had all gray-paisley lining as I selected, no additional communication was received. The $560 suit looks unprofessional with the dark-brick orange paisley lining and white striped sleeves. No where on their web site do they state that a standard lining would be used for the sleeves, nor was this experienced with a previous suit that I purchased. I wanted them to admit their error and at a minimum send material for the correct lining and cover the cost to have the suit fixed. Sumissura's customer service is horrible and non existent with no accountability...definitely not a company I will purchase from again.

I placed an order on May 16th, 2022 and could not open a support ticket through the normal means because the ability to do so was removed 30 days after the order was placed even though the order took significantly longer than 30 days to be delivered to me (see image below). This is clearly a means to silence consumers and provide no avenue for recourse despite what anyone's circumstances may be.

The $170 skirt immediately did not fit me.

However, I figured I would go to a local tailor and leave Sumissura out of the process, since already they recommend that and it was going to cost me additional money anyways.

Due to the significant delay of the skirt's arrival it came at a time that I was then then traveling for a couple of months. I wish I could provide a screenshot or proof of this! In any case, because I was traveling it took me awhile to be able to follow-up with a local tailor.

Today though, I just got back from a local tailor and the tailor said the skirt was so significantly not the correct size that he could not alter it at all to be the correct size. The tailor actually laughed at how poorly it was made, exclaiming "it's a complete circle!" Notice how the skirt falls so low it is essentially to my ankles even though this was supposed to be a high-waisted skirt!

User's recommendation: Might as well just burn your money if you order from this company.

Monetary Loss: $170.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Sumissura Pros: Silk material was nice.

Sumissura Cons: Poor customer service, Little to no return policy, Long delivery delay, Difficult to contact customer service, Had one job.

I spent $507 on a pants suit and shirt. The products feel like they're made of paper. The "slim fit" suit is enormous and boxy. The pants are baggy pleated pants straight from the '90's. The site keeps telling me to open a support ticket. That is not an option. IF you can find the support ticket button (you have to hunt), it just takes you back to your order. There is no way to do what it tells you to do, which is to point out what's wrong. The chat is only a bot telling you to open a support ticket.

So very disappointed. This was a very expensive learning experience: do not buy clothes from China.

The garments I paid for canNOT be considered a tuxedo. They're more like extremely cheap, thin pajamas. If you're looking to wear any of their garments to a formal event forget it. What I received was more like a garbage bag, flimsy and see through. There was no shape to them. I could not be more adamant about how much of a waste of money this was and how upset I was when I received them, especially for the cost. It was shipped in a bag and came out completely crumpled up like a tissue. Beware of ironing it because the fabric is pretty much like plastic. If your unsatisfied, they offer to pay a portion of your re-tailoring costs, but what good is that if the quality of the fabric itself is garbage? DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE IMAGES ON THEIR SITE. What you get won't even look close to that. I'm shocked they're allowed to intentionally mislead people like that and get away with it. You can get a better quality suit at a department store than this. Would give it zero stars if I could. The best I can do is warn others not to make the same mistake I did.

Worst garmet EVER purchased, $400 gone. It's MASSIVE, feels cheap, looks cheap, smells cheap. Disgusting. So big my dad can fit into it better then me. They DO NOT tailor suits, oh no haha they ADJUST large suits, they wouldn't know what tailoring was if it smacked them in the face. This is a scam. You buy this 'great' tailored suit on a website that feels legit. There's a customer service team that makes you feel like it's all coming together (I tried cancelling shortly after ordering as I read reviews…and it wasn't possible). Where do I start… there's clear pinched shoulders (seams uneven), there's the pants…which are literally just giant pants pulled in at the waist, at least they could try and make it look like they made an effort. This is money making machine. I have tailored suits and this doesn't even compare. Don't go there, you will be disappointed. And for those people giving positive reviews, I'm convinced you're either a 'bot' to counter the real reviews OR you've never experienced wearing a nice garmet that's actually made to fit… and for that you've been ripped off.

I ordered a custom suit and I knew something was wrong as soon as I felt the package it arrived in. It was so light, it weighed about the same as a tea towel. When I opened it, it was clear why. The quality of the garments are so poor so it's worth about $12, and not the $315 I paid for it. The suit didn't fit, it was about two sizes too big and the fabric wasn't even substantial enough to use as lining. They refused to refund or remake using a different fabric without extra charge for the fabric and a remake cost. It was a complete waste of money.

Might be better off buying a suit off wish, at least it would be cheaper for the same quality. The fabric feels cheap. The suit just doesn't fit in general. It's huge in the thighs, waist and chest. I look like a clown. Their paper that came with the suit said the fit is guaranteed and that they would remake it or pay for it to be tailored. Contacted customer support and the only option they gave me was to take it to a tailor and said they'd only pay up to 25% of the original price of the suit for alterations! So… probably not enough. You have to have the tailor fill out the paper work they gave and send an invoice for evidence I guess. And now I have to find a seamstress. Who I'm not sure will be able to fix this mess. Do yourself a favor and don't buy. Wish I read reviews first. There's a reason you can't review in their website or fb page…

They also do business as Hockerty. Pants (part of a pantsuit purchase) was too big around hips. They referred me to a local tailors to get fixed; however, the price to fix was unreasonable since pants were not that expensive. Then, they offered me 10% of purchase price as a refund. Their hard to find refund policy is on the Hockerty website.

I ordered A$620 of items online - there was no indication that there were supply chain issues - with the order confirmed and estimated delivery 2 weeks. 2.5 weeks later I get an update advising that the shanghai lockdown meant they were unable to provide an estimated delivery date due to both production and logistics constraints. Given lockdownd in Shanghai were inplace before my order this is deceptive and when I requested a cancellation they advised me while it is inconvenient for me i should consider the impact on their company as well? Not very customer centric. So I now have a $620 order with a company who will not cancel or refund my order and has no current capability to fulfil the order. Far from a great experience and feels borderline fraudulent.

Does not ship within 2 weeks like advertised. Took over a month to get my product just for it not to fit. I paid way to much money to get a suit after the event I needed it for and than for it not to fit. Customer support is a joke. Pretty much has done nothing for me, takes days for them to respond, and with no solution. I tried to cancel my order because it didn't arrive in time and I was told no. All around bad experience and waste of money stay away! I should have read the reviews first. Quality is also cheep.

I have been waiting 4 weeks just to receive notification or an update! It's been tailoring for 4 weeks! I ordered on the promise of made and delivered in 14 days! I have tried to email, call, speak to someone in some way and it's not possible. This is is for my own wedding. I have had to purchase from elsewhere now and wasted so much money on this $#*! company. I am devastated and so angry it's unreal. Bad experience. No confidence with online tailored suits at all now, especially this $#*! company Sumisurra! NEVER AGAIN! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. They will let you down and ruin your special day. If my order hasn't arrived in time then I want a refund. This is ridiculous. 11th April I ordered! I want a refund if it doesn't arrive in time. I need it no later than another week from now! This is an absolute joke.

I am totally disgusted with this site. Buyer beware when you are unable to reach someone to discuss your order. I placed an Order for my daughter to have a custom made suit for my nephews wedding as she is one of the groomsmen. I paid over $400 CAD and have not received a confirmation or any indication as to when this suit will arrive. If it does, the wedding will be over and money will have been wasted as this was the sole purpose to have this suit made. It's been over a month and still no word. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SCAMMING WEBSITE! They will take your money and run! Trust me.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The products are not as they look on the site. Cheap fabrics, poor construction, only loosely follow your measurements, terrible customer service. My item arrived late, it looks nothing like the beautiful suit online, it is thin/ cheap fabric, the threads unraveling and crotch not sewn, the measurments are not what I provided and now they wont refund because it is 'custom'. (although weirdly they offer to remake it. WHICH I DO NOT WANT AFTER DEALING WITH THIS BACK AND FORTH FOR OVER A MONTH) If you research this company you will see how many are unhappy with them. I regret the day I ever placed an order

I ordered a suit and a blazer. The pants were 5 times too big. Did not match the measurements I put in. I really liked the blazer so I decided I would order 2 more suits and a blazer. I ordered and it did not show up in my order history. I saw my credit card charged twice. The website has ZERO options to contact them except an email that they never answer. Now I have to do a charge back and cancel my card.

Slacks arrived way too small. Rework was poor workmanship. Company will neither repair nor refund the purchase price. This process has taken 3 months.

I ordered a two-piece suit and blouse.
I received a jacket that was perfectly fitted as per my exact (and tailors) measurements, as was the blouse.
The pants smelt of cigarette smoke. They had an odour of cigarette smoke and mould to them.
The measurements were entirely off - These weren't my pants.
I contacted support "these things happen" I was told. Like that something meant to be tailor-made is okay to not be tailored?
These measurements are so off and match perfectly to the auto-measurements that Sumissura assumed when I was completing my purchase.

The factory staff (although at this point I feel they are closer to slaves) have targets so high and impossible amounts of work to do that they complete parts of the work. They complete the most expensive parts.
Suit pants are easy to be adjusted.
Suit jackets not so much.
Suit shirts even harder.

The company will ship you whatever they can cram into the amount of time the factory staff are given to complete the whole suit (which is never long enough) and ordered to ditch the rest.

The company offers automatically a 25% adjustments reimbursement through a support ticket.
The people responding to these tickets are meant to respond within 24-48 hours. They respond days later. Sometimes almost a week.
I asked for the pants to be resent as the smell is disgusting, the company have stated they will only reimburse and if I do get new pants, I have to pay for shipping?

I bought this suit for three events - I had given over 2 months notice. They stuffed it up so hard I actually purchased pants off the rack that fit infinitely better.

This is absolutely a slave driven, anti-human rights concern on every level. The business is dodgy and not fit to be running. This isn't something for the modern world of ethics and quality.

I wish I had have paid attention to the reviews, but I needed a suit and only looked at a couple on their website.

The most dysfunctional company I have ever dealt with. The ordering process was super easy, but your clothes will not come sized right, and they do not abide by their satisfaction guaranteed program. Once you receive the item, you will not be able to pull it back up on the website to submit a claim. Say your money and your time! Quality is terrible, and the pants were paper thin and threads hanging all over

The quality of the material and workmanship was horrible. I took it to a tailor here and they laughed when I showed them what the image on the website versus the suit I was mailed. It was so poorly made that it couldn't be altered. Total waste of money. Literally the only nice thing I can say is that it arrived in enough time for me to know I needed to find something else to wear.

What a scam! I ordered a suit back in the summer and it was 2 sizes too big, which I don't understand how it's possible given I provided detailed measurements. After almost a month of back and forth, I was offered to to have the suit remade - which surprise surprise, still doesn't fit properly. The quality of the fabric is cheap and wrinkles extremely easily. I ordered the suit with the promise of a high-quality custom made suit, and now months later I ended up with an unwearable suit, and out about 350$ Canadian.
Customer service keeps insisting for me to send back measurement and remake the suit, and refuses to refund anything. Just imagine how cheap the fabric must be if they can afford to keep remaking it, instead of refunding even partial price!
I'd been better off just getting a Zara suit! Would've been better quality, much better fit, and not to mention cheaper!
