Is there a negative star rating?

My personal designer and I were excited to buy clothes from a retailer that looked to be legit. I ordered and paid for two dresses and a pair of pants without getting fabric samples. The dresses were made perfectly but the fabric was like tissue paper. The pants didn't fit at all the waist and crotch area were completely wrong- I could not wear any of it in public. I could have bought better dresses at the big box discount store!

When we wrote to customer service Sergio was very responsive, but flat out refused to remake the dresses with different fabric and only offered a discount to buy more? What the heck!?

Shame on this company for going to all of the trouble of putting together a classy website and customer service but have crap products.

All we asked for is to have them remade with real fabric not tissue paper!

I ordered a Black shiny Tuxedo with shawl lapels and when I say I have never seen a worse suit in my life, I mean it with every fibre of my being. The suit was poorly cut, definitely not to my measurements, the fabric was so cheap you might as well use it to clean your floors AND it was shiny AF. I know it's in the name but I wasn't expecting to come out looking like a disco ball and then to top it off, they don't offer refunds. This company is huge scam. I don't know how anyone has left a positive review, I suspect they're all fake, but if you're reading this, hopefully before you make a purchase DON'T. I've wasted £200 on a suit I needed for a wedding.

The best they can do for you is make amendments up to 25% of the value of the item, what's £50 worth of amendments going to a rubbish suit?

If you have money to waste, go right ahead, otherwise do yourself a favour and stay clear away from this company.

I can only be mad at myself for not reading their returns policy beforehand. Shambles.

Horrible experience

I ordered a suit in August 2021. A good week later, the suit was there. The condition of the delivery was very poor, the suit buckled like a pair of socks. After trying it on, I discovered that the suit didn't fit. The skirt is too big, the jacket too. Then I contacted customer service. A complaint then led to the fact that I was accused of giving incorrect measurements, although I measured them precisely as in the description. (Example: measured waist size 170 / suit 189cm) including pictures with scale sent. The employee wanted to make it clear to me that this is a tailor-made suit, with the claim that it would otherwise be a skin. They asked me to see a local tailor to make the changes. Why does a tailor in Lincoln have to correct something that #Hockerty didn't succeed.
I am totally dissatisfied with the production and the service.
Never again Hockerty!

Absolutely avoid this company.
Ordered in april and am still waiting for my delivery now at the end of july.
No customer service, unhelpful email responses when you require information. I agree with other reviews that this is probably a chinese scam. RUN!

Terrible Fit

I ordered the Navy blue wool blend slim-fit ankle pantsuit (Oberon) and paid $255.22. It came on time but the fit was terrible. I added photos showing the picture from their website on the left and what got delivered on the right.
It was really strange because it was perfect in some areas and really big in others so it makes no sense. I watched their videos to see how they want the measurements taken and made sure they were accurate.

Jacket:
The chest is VERY loose and easily 3 sizes too big. The button placement is very low, under my belly button instead of at the smallest part of the waist (above bellow button) as it should have been. It looks like they made a two-button suit and then only added the bottom button instead of making a one-button suit like I ordered and like its shown on their website.

Pants:
The pants are not a bad fit but they are not what I ordered. If I ordered a loose fit these would have been perfect. I ordered a slim fit and these are by no means a slim fit (these are almost like culottes). The waist and hip area are fine but thigh and knee onwards is very loose. They look nothing like the picture shown on their website. I understand that this material is not stretchy so they can't be too fitted but that was not explained on the website. If this material is not stretchy and the pants can only be made a loose fit then that should be clearly stated and this material should not have a slim fit option.

I can probably get the pants fixed within the 25% reimbursement that they offer but the jacket would cost a lot more. I submitted a "support ticket" on their website but have not received a response yet.

I ordered a suit for my degree in mid-May 2021, and the estimated arrival date was June 18,2021. Next Tuesday, I am going to graduate, and the suit has not arrived yet! I will send it back to the sender without opening the box and ask for a full refund. Summisura is completely illegal: it does not have the company's registered office, does not have a phone number, or an email. Avoid these cheaters!

Do not waste your money on this shameful company! They will promise high-quality custom outfits by a certain deadline and will fail to deliver, with zero customer service. If you leave a negative review they will spam your email saying they "want to help" (but offering zero solutions). 100% waste of money. Run away!

I wish I could get a refund or money off this horrible suit. I am so heartbroken about the suit I ordered. When I opened the package and put the suit on I just started crying. It is awful! I will not wear this to my graduation. The fabric is so thin that you can see the front and back pockets. It looks like a cheap suit. I am very petite and because of COVID I did not want to buy a suit and get it altered. Now I have no suit to wear too my graduation. No way is this suit worth the money that it cost (€229) I could have bought a much nicer suit at even a store like Zara or H & M and paid a lot less and been happy. I am so angry.

Did not arrive in time. Waste of $200+ dollars.

As a busty woman, a custom-made suit seemed to be the best option for an interview outfit. The ETA for the arrival of the suit was over a month before my interview. But of course there was a delay of 2 months, meaning I had to go to Nordstrom and pay full price for a Theory suit that they could same-day tailor, on top of paying for a suit of Sumissura that I will never wear. The suit when it did arrive was too large in certain areas. I sent my measurements and was sent a "warning" that my bust-to-waist-to-hip raito was unnatural, but I was sure about my hourglass measurements and disproportionately large bust. Even still, the waist is too large. There was an offer to reimburse re-tailoring, but what's the point when the suit arrives after interview season. Additionally, the material looked super cheap compared to the Theory suit I got at Nordstrom.

If I could give zero stars I would!
I ordered a pair of pants and not only when I got them they did not fit, but to be able for them to fix them and send me another pair I had to return the first pair at my own cost. The customer service told me that they will reimburse the shipping cost, later to find out that they only give me credit on my next purchase... So totally misleading there! To explain: the first pair did not fit because the crotch measurement was too small but the measurement was not requested from me for the initial order. To qualify for the pants to be re-made I had to go first to a local tailor cause Sumissura was first offering to reimburse me for the alterations. Of course, the local tailor told me they can't fix the pants. After all this, yesterday I was slammed with a tax and duties invoice of 20$ from Fedex. So all this, besides the aggravation cost me an additional 40 $ (20$ for the shipment of the wrong pants and Canadian taxes and duties). So, STAY AWAY! I understand the concept and I am sorry for the people in China working to make these garments but they are probably paid peanuts while this company misleads people into paying a lot of money for nothing. BEWARE!

Ordered a pair of custom pants for my wife. I took the measurements as per their instructions. Recieved pants and as expected needed tailoring. Took them to a tailor who took alitttle in here and there and it still did not seem correct to me. I sent these people pictures and asked if they thought these were fitting correctly, (even though I knew they were not) Crickets... No response. Finally after sending several requests for help, they responded that they would update my wifes measurements so that the next order would be "perfect"! I asked them how they could update her measurements when they did not even know how much the tailor took up and where? They admitted then that it was just an automatic reply. They are just playing with words and are not really looking at each order nor email followups. Not a very professional business as far as I am concerned. I have asked for a full refund as I now have no faith in them since they have lied to me on several email exchanges. I am sure these people will never adhere to their money back guarantee.

My daughter is 5'1" and very petite so has always struggled to find clothes that fit. She purchased a beautiful wool suit and shirt and the fit was amazing! Her confidence went through the roof! We will all be buying from Sumissura from now on! I love the choice of fabrics. Very fast delivery service considering they have to tailor make and ship (during the height of the covid outbreak no less). Brilliant, just brilliant!

I am hoping to save others from losing money as I did when i ordered an outfit with this company. I ordered a velvet pantsuit ( $256.00) and it arrived looking very shoddy. The material was not velvet and I think it was made in China. I don't believe this company is really legitimate. They have no customer service, no phone number, no physical address and no recourse after spending money and trying to get something returned. I believe it may be a one man shop in an apartment somewhere. So be very cautious. One day they will be run out of business when enough people report them. So disappointing. You really want to trust people..

That company is horrible, if i could give them minus stars i would, bad workmanship, poor quality, wrong measurements, clothes that doesn't fit to measurements and execrable customer service. SMOKE AND MIRRORS. Do yourself a favor look somewhere else. I ordered $500 with of clothes that i cannot wear, they pretended online responding to my reviews that they woild but it was just SMOKE AND MIRRORS. Shady business practices.

Let me begin by saying my housemate received a suit that fit perfectly. My housemate also doesn't have much in the way of curves.
I'm not exactly a big girl - usually around a size 8-10 - but I am a bit curvy with a booty. I provided all my measurements - my waist and hip measurement has a 28 cm difference, and my bust and waist measurement has a 25 cm difference. How did Sumissura interpret all this? That my measurements were wrong, and I was obviously round and short. They have no concept of an hourglass figure.
The hip measurement of the pants was loose so I could hold it out like a weightless commercial, but clung so tightly to my waist I couldn't even sit down. The crotch was a good 10cm too low. The pant legs tapered ridiculously to the ankle point, and were several inches shorter than my measurements.
The jacket was no better. The arms were several inches too short. There was no waist - it was a shapeless tent, but so tight around my shoulders for some reason, I couldn't move my arms forward.
I wrote to them to fix the suit, resending my measurements and taking several photos with the problem areas circled and highlighted.
The replacement jacket came back... Okay. Not a great fit, but I could move my arms. They seem to still be confused that my bust is bigger than my waist, so it's a more straight-line sack now, rather than one that tapers out in a clown-like fashion.
The pants are still awful. The waist is more fitting, but it's still too tight around the hip to sit down, and again with those awful tapered pant legs that make my legs look like they belong to a short, dumpy Tim Burton character.
Couldn't be bothered sending it back again for repairs. The effort and costs of postage were just too much. I'm just wearing the cost of the suit as a terrible lesson to not order cheap overseas.
I'm pretty sure these suits aren't tailored as per their claim, and they just have a few generic sizes in stock where they pick the one that matches your largest measurement. If you're of straight, slender build, their outfits may be okay. If you've got anything close to curves, don't bother.

Worst fit ever

This is a scam company! I have ordered 2 dresses and a coat- all 3 items came 2 sizes bigger. I have asked for remake- the clothes were 2 sizes big again, just better fit over the waist. Now i am refused any refund! Do not waste your money!

They incorrectly made my suit and are now forcing me to pay to have it remade because they said I submitted the incorrect measurements. I had submitted the correct ones, I don't know what happened. I had filled out their form with extra care. Of course, their system is reflecting the incorrect ones. Horribly disappointing and waste of money.

First tailored pant I ever ordered, and I wish I picked a better quality one. The stitching came undone in about a month, first at the bottom cuff, then the entire pocket ripped open (no there was nothing sharp inside the pocket, one day I put my hand in my pocket and there was a large hole. I tried contacting customer service, and they said they could only cover a fraction of the tailoring to fix it, but I'm not spending more money to fix cheap pants. The fabric feels cheap, definitely not wool, and it's not well made. Go with a different service.
