Used to be a seller for about a year, experienced a lot of horrible changes that storenvy made recently, from being forced to use Stripe even though it only support a handful of countries, to unnecessary warning email about how I violated their rule just by asking my buyer to pay with paypal because I can't process order that got through stripe. Have left the site for good to make store in other Ecommerce. Definitely not going to recommend it to anyone.
Title says it all. It's similar to ebay. The quality of service you get dramatically depends on the seller you buy from. Make sure to purchase through paypal so your purchase is protected (in case you never receive your order). I've now ordered from storenvy 3 separate times and I had two good experiences and one just okay (seller took 3 weeks to send it out). Be careful, read the ratings, and hope for the best, but definitely protect your money and use paypal when purchasing.
I had written a negative review after purchase of product on here... but want to change my opinion. Best way to reach someone seemed to be facebook message. They finally got in touch with the store owner and turned out that person had passed away recently and family was scrambling to access the emails. I appreciate that they did follow through and give me a contact for the product.

You're best bet is to look at reviews from the actual store seller.
And I can't believe you have to pay a fee to Storenvy for some Customer Service bull$#*!! That's ridiculous! It's a small fee but it doesn't matter! What other site does that?
Nice to deal with, but Storenvy is only a middle man. The manufacturers are in Pakistan, so a little difficult to communicate with the actual manufacturers. But after a few emails, and 2 weeks both pairs arrived. The size & fit were fine. The quality is good and products used are also good. I would and have ordered more boots and shoes from them again. So don't be scared.
Item ordered December 1 but wasn't shipped until December 9. So did not arrive in time for Christmas. Arrived December 29.8 days to get one sweater shipped is not acceptable, especially at Christmas time. I left feedback on their site but they will not post it because it is negative. They never sent a tracking number as promised and their customer service in response to my inquiries was very poor. Although I did receive the item, will not do business with again.
Buyer Beware! I received my item, late. Quality was good. But, coincidently, my email used for this site was immediately compromised and another person hacked my email. Luckily, I checked my recent account activity, and blocked the user.
My daughter placed an order and received notification that her item had been shipped along with a tracking number. Problem was when the package was tracked it never changed from waiting to be shipped. Several contacts to seller with no response. We have a PAYPAL dispute filed for a refund of her money.
I just reserved space for a store on Storenvy but have not listed items as yet. But I visited several stores and liked what I saw. That is why I signed up. Subsequently I received emails, resources, and guides to help me. It appears to have a very helpful and responsive Administrative staff. One can't ask for more than that when selecting a venue. I look forward to selling there and getting to know the wonderful artists who are there already. Check them out.
This review is about Storenvy as a platform for building your own shop, NOT about how good or bad individual shops are that utilize it. What I love most about it is that I was able to build my own storefront to represent my brand with very little technical knowledge. I get to have my personalized shopfront at a very low cost. The site is still growing and more and more futures are being added. There is always going to be somebody who's not going to like the changes, but they are necessary if we want Storenvy to grow bigger and continue to provide us with awesome tools.
I paid $ 125.00 for an HD camera that never arrived and I email merchant and store envy multiple times to getting shipping information and never once even received a response. I have an open case with pay pal and hopefully they can get me my money back from these crooks!
I've been selling on Storenvy for a little over a year now and I love it! My shop gets so much more traffic than I ever did in 3 years on Etsy. Anytime I have an issue, I get a fast response from the help team, plus they are available on social media which is great! I appreciate that I can customize my store to fit my brand.
I highly recommend Storenvy for both buying and selling.
4 weeks later item didn't ship, 2 emails to the store, 1 email to storenvy, still not item and no follow up. Storenvy is probably a good place for scammers to set up fake sites that pull in small amounts of cash that would generally go unnoticed.
I was told by the rip off artist that i will be getting my refund in form of a check. If i don't see it by the end of the week i am reporting everyone to the Better Business Bureau. Remember this has been going on since November 5 so buyer beware.
I've used Storenvy for a long time now and I've realized that your experience will vary depending on the shop feedback. I've honestly never had a problem with any sellers on the site.
Much like EBay, Amazon and other sites, its run by different people. Thankfully I've had 0 problems, however, always check the individual's shop feedback first before you buy.
There is no way to actually check to see if a seller is legit or not, no reviews to really make sure everything has been going smoothly and no follow up or notification even telling you something was shipped.
You give someone money and then take it on good faith they will actually send it out.
The site does not put any effort into actually making sure any transactions are honored and will not help you if an issue arises.
So often you can expect to place an order, you will never receive it and won't know anything about what's going on, if you contact the seller they will tell you to just be patient they "Totally sent it" but you'll wait 6 months and nothing and then it's too late to do anything about it.
Just don't take the risk, use more vetted and secure things like Etsy.
Avoid Squishy Noodle. She says she has a disclaimer on her site about wait time. Okay-- 1-2 weeks-- okay. I placed an order for my daughter's birthday; I placed the order TWO months in advance. Needless to say, my child never received the birthday gift she SO wanted. She did refund the money, but she also sent emails saying the items shipped when clearly they never did. I have no clue what the deal is. My daughter loves the site and products, but I will not allow her to order from Squishy Noodle again.
I ordered a wall stencil for my nursery and never received the order. I have contacted the shop twice and no response. My account has been charge though so they got their money! It's a scam and I will say if Storeenvy has "no responsibility " to these matters because they are technically individual shops, then they should remove the individual shop from the site! This is unethical business relations and should not be allowed. I gave one star because I had to give something. Will not shop this site again.
I have been using Storenvy for over 4 years and totally love this site. Every person I have every purchased from via Storenvy.com has been prompt with filling orders and the items are always incredible! I love how hands on the Storenvy staff is and would never consider selling elsewhere, and it is always the first place I go to shop for pretty much everything - gifts, clothing, toys, accessories, home wares, art... :) Highly recommend it!
So disheartened to see so many bad ratings for Storenvy on this site. If you're reading this, keep in mind that a lot of times only people who had a bad experience with something would take their time and jeopardize it. These bad ratings don't justify the majority of customers' experiences on Storenvy (and I am speaking from personal experience!).

Answer: Honestly, I'm very surprised by these reviews too. We have over 100,000 store owners, so I suppose there are bound to be some people who didn't have a great experience. But we certainly have a lot of successful, loyal merchants.
Answer: Just like Etsy or Amazon, Storenvy isn't a single seller, it's a site featuring shops hosted by a network of different sellers. My advice would be to check out the information on the page of the particular seller you're looking at. Look at their feedback and their shipping timelines, and that should give you a better idea of what to expect. Most of the sellers there are fantastic, but it's always best to do research before buying from a new person :)
Answer: Its not "technically" a scam, its just a website with a bunch of people who put up stores. The problem is many of those people are not good at running a business (and the individual store owners might be scams or might not be) and the company "storeenvy" takes no responsibility for their actions. You will have better luck on EBAY or AMAZON because there is buyer protection and actual customer support. StoreEnvy is not a 'scam', they just suck.
Answer: Each seller is independent within the site. I never got a response from Storenvy customer service, so Paypal refunded my $. So you take your chances. Ebay will refund if the item is not as described or pictured. Also look at where the item ships from, if it's China, it could take 2 weeks and more.
Answer: Your best bet is to pay close attention to the reviews for the seller. Much like Amazon or Etsy or eBay, each seller is responsible for their store and the things they sell in it - which means some things are going to be fabulous and some won't be. So check the reviews and make sure you know that the seller you're trying has a solid reputation with their buyers and consistently delivers a good quality product.
Answer: Nope i wouldn't do it... the whole site is fraud. Myself and a few other people are in pursuit of getting our money back.
